Absolutely love this store! The last time I was in a Meijer's was 2019 & they only sold groceries. The selection of goods is stupendous here. The pricing is very competitive, especially on meats. Being a person whom absolutely despises Walmart, it's so refreshing to see that they have an actual competitor.

I typically don’t get on to leave reviews but this is probably the 5th time I have purchased meat from Meijer on Sunbury Road and it has been spoiled. As you can see, the sticker covers right over the spoiled part so I didn’t know before purchasing it. I always examine the meat before I purchase it because every time I get home, there are brown parts and it stinks but this time it looked to be better than the other meat options there.Not only was the “fresh” meat bad but the lunch meat that was in-store was expired. Today is January 15th, 2024 (now 16th due to the late post) and the expiration date says January 12th, 2024. I’ve experienced enough expired product from the store to remember to always try and examine dates before my purchase. This isn’t to “go after” Meijer, I just want everyone to triple check before wasting money buying meats from there!Usually everything else is good but the meat department is truly slacking and it’s been this way for many months :(

I never shopped at Meijer before moving to Delaware. I knew my grandma did and I figured it was for budgeting and not a nice in store experience. Boy was I wrong! I like Meijer better than Kroger! It's well lit, clean, and they have a surprising variety of ingredients and produce. I love asian foods and they have a decent section for those products considering how far out we are from the city here.I used to get my produce from Giant Eagle or Whole Foods to avoid Kroger but the quality of product is good. The food seems fresh and tastes delicious! The store layout is simple, makes sense, and there's never a long wait in line! Love this location.

Two days ago, I visited the Meijer store located at this address and accidentally dropped my credit card while shopping. The credit card had both my husband's and my last name on it. When I returned to the store to retrieve it, the lady who worked at the self-checkout told me that she had taken it to customer service. Upon arriving at customer service, I was asked for proof of identification which I provided without hesitation. However, I was shocked when I was told that it wasn't enough and that the representative needed to speak with my husband to verify my identity. As a citizen from a different country, I believe that I should be treated like any other citizen in this country regardless of my or nationality.

Went to Meijer last week for toilet paper and paper towels and ended up getting a great deal. $3 off of $15. We spent $24 for 2 packs of paper towels and a huge pack of toilet paper. I love deals

Love meijer the produce is almost always better than kroger and wallmarts produce is trash so not hard to beat. Nice clean laid out nice can get anything from food to oil for your car to house hold items or pharmacy stuff. Wife loves to go just to wander the store and see if we find anything fun. They had neat Halloween ramen bowls last time we went.

This Meijer location is my "home" Meijer and is consistently a great Meijer location if you are familiar with the retailer. Superb selection from clothing for my youngest that she actually loves and wears to the threads, to superb cuts of Angus beef like 1st cut strip steak. Consistently staffed right so if you want to check out at a regular lane there is almost always several lanes to have a cashier check you out even at least one lane late at night after 10pm they'll still have a staffed lane. Meijer knows how to do treat their customers.

Love This Meijer!! I cannot say enough great things about this specific location….great selection, always clean and easy to navigate, great parking, safe and comfortable area, with pharmacy drive through and gas station on premises. My FAVORITE thing however is the incredible staff here. The people who work here go above and beyond to help you with everything they possibly can! I feel very valued as a customer and recommend this Meijer location to all.

Sucks with customer relations. Every time I'm in cosmetics I'm being followed like I'm stealing! It's the most awful feeling I feel like they have been robbed a lot by my kind of people because it's automatic if I stay around cosmetics longer than a few minutes. I have a lot of make up it's hard for my color type to find anything as it is so I have to take forever. I literally just get groceries now and it's only because my client shops are only there.

It's a grocery store. They keep it clean, the employees are relatively helpful, and they have decent sale prices. They do lack some selection, but you need a larger grocery store for that.

Really a shame that you have to download MPerks onto your phone to get sale price. Feels invasive, and discriminatory against people who may not have a smart phone, like the elderly. Kroger will help you get that price anyway. Meijer personnel weren't helpful at all.

This Meijer is the nearest grocery store to my home, for which I am grateful. With that said, I believe this particular location exceeds expectations for the franchise especially considering the limited number of employees that have to do it with. At times I have noticed that management seems to be struggling to find enough qualified personnel to meet those standards but, if you time your trip at the right part of the day you will almost always find what you are seeking.

I called the meat department to see if they got steaks in for their buy 1 get 1 50% off sale....I wasn't able to get anyone in that department to answer so the courtesy desk girl walked over to the meat department and I was able to order 4 steaks. Talk about service. Very impressive.

I'm a Meijer man. I don't like the other chains. But this Meijer in particular is one of my favorites. Their tea section is pretty decent and it's the only place I can find Frasier teas. Watermelon oolong is my go to. Friendly staff, never had an issue with them not having what I needed.

Bought a cake from the bakery..omg it was awful had to throw in in the trash. It was one of the buckeye cakesNever again. I should have known better then to buy a cake from any grocery store🤮

Much of the produce is in horrible condition (smashed open/broken or molding or so close to going bad you had better use it that day because it won't store for more than that). It can get difficult finding the isle you need by the overhead signs because they say different things on different sides (triangle shaped) and at different ends of quite long isles (hope your vision is good). Shelf stocking is atrocious. I get that all grocery stores are still struggling to keep shelves fully stocked after COVID and the national walk out, but stop stocking things on shelf spots where the tags say other things should be just to try to fill in and make the shelf look fuller. If there's a gap then there's a gap, I'll know you're working on getting more.

I lost my online order. I spent almost an hour on the phone with several departments with no help. Finally I talked to Ally or Elly (I couldn’t catch it). She was the sweetest , most understanding person. She is at the Delaware/Sunbury store. Amazing person and they are lucky to have her!!

I had to return a bunch of items due to a canceled event and the women at the return desk, whose name I think was Elaine, helped me out terrifically. She did not seem like she was having a great day either but still did her job well and treated me with respect.
