Not a single cashier. This is ridiculous. I wish I would have had a cart full of ice cream, because I would have left it there to melt. I refuse to be forced to use a self checkout. And how does the “union” not have a problem with getting rid of cashier jobs while the rest of the people get paid squat?

All self checkouts, employees standing around chatting with each other. I hate self checkouts and I hate a store forcing me to use them. I left a whole cart full of groceries with the manager to put away. I don't mind the self checkout as an option but the no cashiers thing is ridiculous. Won't ever go back again

No cashiers. All self check outs. I was there tonight scanning and bagging my own groceries while I counted 6 employees standing there watching me doing nothing. Two young girl employees were running and chasing each other around the check outs like small children. They had no interest in helping anyone. Meanwhile you have elderly people and moms with small children trying to scan their own groceries. Will not be shopping here again.

The trial time is over. They got rid of all cashiers, so it's nothing but long lines and scanning errors that require a team member to fix. What a failure of a idea! Now I have to drive farther to Meijer, but they have cashiers! Kroger should swallow their pride and admit their experiment didn't work.

Love Kroger. My family has shopped at Kroger stores for 50 years or more. Some family members have worked for Kroger in the past. Excellent place to work as well as shop.

I have had horrible experiences with store pickup at this location. Today, I waited over an hour for my items to come out and they never arrived. I eventually had to cancel my order. I reached out to Guest Services and the Pickup department at various points during the wait and they all told me different things about the status of the order. I understand that delays happen, but the lack of communication is very disrespectful to customers’ time. I would expect at least an email if my order is going to be delayed. The whole point of doing store pickup is to expedite the shopping process. This is not an isolated incident either, my pickup before this was delayed 45 minutes due to a staffing issue and again I was never contacted about the delay. I will never be doing pickup here again.

Worst Kroger you can go to. Self checkout I scanned my (plus customer) card which should mean (pissed customer)before starting. No items on my receipt showed any discount. When I closed out my order, I noticed that I hadn’t received any discount. I asked the employee watching everyone checking out. He said go to the office and talk to someone. I asked the girl at the office about it and if they still had “scan right guarantee “ which I’m sure they haven’t stopped. She said No, IF you catch something not right then we just make it right. So as far as I’m concerned, I’m done with Kroger and you better check your receipts when shopping there.

Store is all self checkout now which for me personally is not a problem. However, I know some, especially the elderly and disabled, struggle with this concept. My problem with this is the baggers on these lanes. There is 1 guy in particular that is at best unpleasant and generally abrasive. And no he's not a kid either. He is old enough to know better. When he bags my groceries you would think the cost of the bags was coming out of his pay. You would think there was some competition about how much can be crammed into a single bag. He had so many things in each bag it took me 10 minutes in the cold removing the excess from each bag until I ran out of extra bags in my car. When we got home the bags were tearing and difficult to handle in order to prevent dumping the groceries on the ground. Kroger bags are notoriously cheap to begin with so over filling them is just asking for a mess. After today I think talking to the store manager made my to do list for the week.

If I need a handful of things I will shop at this location, otherwise I will go somewhere else. This is an entirely self-scan store, and when you have a cart full of groceries, it is quite frustrating, especially when the machine fails to scan or you're buying alcohol and you have to wait 5 mins for the one person to come scan your ID. And for me it's just an annoyance, I feel bad for the elderly and disabled folks who have trouble with the self-scans and there aren't enough people to help them in a timely manner.

This Kroger carried everything I was looking for. The Store was clean and the employees were friendly. I took away some stars because they only provide self checkout registers. I almost walked out of the store because I hate this idea that employees are not needed. Sadly my kid needed Motrin so I checked myself out and moved on. This is not my normal Kroger and I'm very glad this is the case. I will be avoiding this location due to the self checkout only registers

A store that charges more for their goods than all the other stores around should be able to afford cashiers! Only having the option to check yourself out is absurd! It's a shame I live so close but travel 5 extra miles to keep a person employed.

Forced to use self checkout now, added all these lanes buy only had like 3 lanes open. Waited in like for 15 minutes to check out with 5 items. Totally broken system. Will exclusively shop at other stores now. Absurd.

There's a good selection of products at this Kroger and if I was rating solely on that, then I'd probably give 4 stars. Certain types of foods like ones you'd find in an international market are not as available here as they'd maybe be at another Kroger like the one on Houk rd, at least from my experience. You may be surprised to find that this store doesn't supply an item that you commonly purchase at a different Kroger or grocery store in general. However, they have some products you might have trouble finding elsewhere too. If you're somebody who prefers organic food then this store might potentially be a disappointment at times. The only example I can think of off the top of my head is they had little or no selection of organic potatoes for a long time. I'm not sure if that's still the case or not. I've never ran into any issues with non-food items. I've found what I needed. Food and necessities selection aside, one reason I give three stars is because the staff are not as friendly as I'd like. Some of the employees at this store are actually really great and helpful but it's very inconsistent, especially at the "service desk" or where money services are catered. I've actually overheard one of the employees who works behind the desk griping about one of their co-workers to another employee too. Lastly, this store can smell bad. Like very bad. Lately when I walk around the first or second isle where a majority of canned foods are stocked, it smells like actual human feces. It's rather disgusting.

I do love this Kroger’s staff and store...however the hours listed here are way off. Now that we need to practice social distancing, this Kroger has chosen to limit hours, closing at 9 pm instead of 10. (They used to be open past midnight just a year or two ago). Late store hours are a good time to pick up essentials because of the lack of crowds. Just something to think about, if you want this customer to believe you actually care about my well being.

Love to get groceries from here. It is close and they have a good selection.The pharmacist and assistants are so thorough and very helpful. Too bad, so many people yell at them and never apologize. The customer before me was mean to the pharmacist and was nice to Drew. The customer never apologized. He did compliment the pharmacist but did not apologize.

I do not like the self check out. Next thing you know there will be nobody working in there. I don't trust them. They just don't want to pay employees. I already told my wife I don't want to go in there anymore.

The cashier here was so friendly and helpful. A gentleman stocking The meat dept. Took The time to show me where an item was and was very kind. The store was pretty organized and had a good selection. The produce was really good! Had a successful and pleasant experience at this particular Kroger.

Definitely a smaller and older store, and because of this sometimes things I’m looking for are out of stock. Registers switched over to all u-scan, but there is nearly always people to bag your groceries!

I stopped in to Kroger on March 20 approximately 3:45 pm , even with all the madness this past week the store was clean , organized and the employees were very friendly . The gentleman in the meat Dept was very friendly and helpful (sry I didn't get his name and a guy stocking shelves Jimmy Higgins was super nice , polite and helpful as well . Great job at this location with all the madness , keep up the great work .
