Have 2 dogs, 12 chickens and 90gal saltwater tank... Once in awhile they'll get some cute animals in.... We mostly go for our dog food. It's pretty pricey but if you have domestic animals it's got everything you'd need. Has very little accessories for saltwater don't waste your time on saltwater stuff there. You can get some frozen brine shrimp if they got them in stock and the standard heater but that's it. One guy working there knows a bit though about saltwater but he can't sell you something he doesn't have. Nothing for farm animals.

I love that I can go in and get what I need fast. This store doesn't continuously relocate product so you waste time trying to find what you need. When I'm not in a hurry, I wander and browse. When I am pressed for time, I dont want to hunt down the same dog food I've been buying for 8 years.

If the cashier that is named Kyrstn who has blue hair is still at this store do not shop here. She makes every single experience horrible. Every time I go in to the store I get mean looks and nasty comments from her. I have never once been rude to her and this issue continues.

I love the store...I live in Maryland and when visiting relatives I am in and out of that store alot. You see I bring my two large girls to visit also. (Blue pit and American bulldog) Today however I was a little taken aback as 3 of the staffers were wearing their masks 😷 below their noses. I was concerned since I came to visit due to a non-covid medical issue...I cannot afford to catch anything.both for my Ohio family as well as my Maryland family.(including my work family I am essential) The workers were friendly as always... but a mask not work properly is just as bad as not wearing one at all...

Always very friendly helpful service. I go specifically for tortoise food but my dog also loves to pick out a treat. Your pet is welcome in the store which is nice. Very good selection of dog treats. Cooper is always happy to visit pet supplies plus!!

Pet Supplies Plus as a whole is wonderful and I always get what I need. However, Defiance Pet Supplies Plus employees are not. Just 2 in particular. Any time I bring my dog in (or don't, just depending on the supplies I get) I receive UNSOLICITED advice on how to properly train my dog who is under a year old. Believe me, we are working on the training, but I was by myself and didn't want to leave my dog in a crate, so let me just do what I need to do in training him and get the products I came in to receive. If I wanted assistance or had questions on training him, I would ask. Also, another employee makes comments on the products I am buying, the price of the item, and what they would give their dog instead (aren't cashiers supposed to not comment on the items you're buying??) Again, I didn't ask. Please let me shop in peace. If I want you to help me or to even pet my dog, I would ask or offer.

Poor animal care. Moldy water bottles in small pet cages. Dozens of dead fish in a tank filter and throughout the tank. Disgusting fish tanks. Hamster wheels caked with pee.

Great customer service received at Pet Supplies Plus today when I went to get some options of cat food for my under weight cat. They helped me get the shopping cart out that was stuck and then Roman helped me in picking out a cat food that will work. Told me many good tips also and was very patient as I had my 3 year old son with me and he was being pretty fussy and obnoxious! Thankful for a wonderful customer service experience! Thank you!

I had my mom take my dog here to get groomed on Tuesday. I picked her up from her om Friday and I am so confused why I paid for a full groom for what I got. My mother said when she picked up my dog the groomer said she could not cut her face because she would not sit still. No other groomer has ever had a problem cutting my dog, including pet supplies plus in the past. When I see my dog when I got her, I noticed that my dog was never given a bath. She was still dirty. Her legs were not cut. Her tail was matted. Her ears still had a mat in it. Her eyes were not cleaned. Her private parts were not cleaned. Her nails were not cut....what did I pay 50 dollars for???????????????????????

Prices were decent, staff was friendly at first. However, on May 21, i called ahead to ask price of small crickets as I have never been there before. I was quoted 5 cents each, but when I got three I was charged 11 cents each minus a 3 cent each discount for buying 100. After some talk about corporate making them do this or that, and telling me I can return them, a staff member finally agreed to change the price to what I was quoted when I called.I called to speak with the manager on May 22 and while trying to explain the situation, she hung up on me twice.I don't normally tell anyone not to shop somewhere as I think everyone could have a bad day and deserve a second chance, but not today. This is rediculous. I was lied to and argued with last night, and then hung up on TWICE today by someone who claimed to be a manager. This is no way to run a business.And to make things worse, they don't even know their fish. I repeatedly asked for the algae eater that grows only 2" but after several minutes, checking the picture several times and 2 people trying, they gave me the one that grows 10". It's going to get way too big for my 10 gal tank. Why would anyone be stupid enough to put 3 kinds of algae eaters in one tank? That's rediculous. You would think a pet store would know this.DO NOT SHOP HERE! They don't deserve your hard earned money.

Went to the store to look for a water fountain for my cat. I needed one with a replaceable filter because our water isn’t the greatest. The employee was very helpful and showed me what they had and showed me where the filters were and which one I would need for when I need to replace them (different filters for different fountains obviously).I’ve always had good experiences in the store! Thank you ❤️

Great variety and selection on everything for cats and dogs. (They have for many other pets but I wasnt looking in those isles) they have a small selection of pets as well. Looks like u can take pets into the place which is nice. Everyone is animal friendly and seem genuine. All good vibes while i was there! However its not a large store since it specializes in only pet supplies.

Love this place, workers are always willing to help, and they are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. Eijah is one of the managers there and he was bursting with information about the ferrets we purchased... Very happy with our recent experience here and we'll be back.

Asked an employee 3 times where pet water fountain filters were. He asked another employee all 3 times she directed me to 3 different locations never move it to help me none of the spots had them she then said “we must not have them” and continued talking with coworkers about the pizza being ordered. Will never return. I’ll go somewhere where I can be assisted

I forget how little I like this store until I walk in. We were in the area and from the outside the store looks huge. I went in and was immediately disappointed. I'm just really not a fan of how they operate. There were some very interesting betta fish near the exit.

I really like going here for pet supplies. They have a far wider selection than what you'll find at a big box store. The employees are very engaging and willing to help. The only downside is the price-- if it's a basic item that you can find at Walmart or Amazon, it's guaranteed to be cheaper there. But some of the things I'm looking for are specialized, so whenever I need those this is my go-to place.

We loved our experience. We adopted a rescue puppy yesterday and your staff were excellent in providing suggestions on things for his well-being and transition to our home. We have a grooming apt scheduled now as well as info for a clinic to get his shots up to date.
