Great place to stop for some groceries and dry goods as I run from Ontario to Texas. They allow tractor trailer parking and even overnight on occasion. I find the overall quality to be somewhat better than their closest competitor.

A lot of people don't like to shop at Meijer because of the price. But if you are an mperks member, then the price isn't really that far off from other local stores. I like to go here to get fresh produce. And they also have a good deli. It is better to spend your money here then to go to walmart. At the same time it's better to go to kroger than here. I always try to spend my money locally rather than the big chain stores. Although that is not always so easy to do. It is a lot easier to take pride in your meals when you know that all of your ingredients came from local distributors. Nothing is better than produce. That is locally grown especially if it is right out of your own garden.

Walked in looking for a specific, seasonal, hard to find item (Holiday Barbies) and they had multiple. Went through the cashier lane and out the door. Good experience.

Registers were very backed up.Only about 3 or 4 open. I like Meijers produce and bakery. Very disappointed in choice of bioengineered product on shelves, we deserve safe product for our families.

I ordered a cake two weeks ago we go to pick it up today and it’s the wrong cake completely looks like it was made in 5mins told them it was wrong, said sorry can’t help definitely wont be ordering another cake from them again 2nd photo is what we ordered the first one is what we got

HATE Meijer!!!! In Defiance, can't find anything- who set up the floor plan in that store?! Groceries & bathroom items - clear across the store?! Self checkouts never work they're be 2 employees standing there staring at you, but no help, SLOWEST check outs !!!

Aside from them allowing people to just walk in with dogs this place is great. I'm not talking legit service dogs for handicapped people either. I'm literally talking about people just walking in with their dogs. In a grocery store/deli that obviously has food. This is a problem that needs fixed asap. I've emailed their corporate months ago and gotten no response.

Probably the worst service I’ve ever got today. Kim at customer services was super rude and unprofessional. There is no return policy on the receipt. After being a product back, they would not return it, or exchange or even a store credit. Mind you I have the receipt with me. At this point I’d rather go to Walmart. Very disappointed.

Shop here usually once a week. Like the quality of fresh produce and meats... I was disappointed that with my latest shopping trip, a Wednesday afternoon, that many of the sale signs were not up next to the items. When the sale ad has been out since Sunday!?!? It makes it difficult to find the correct item, like size and variety, when there's no sign.🤔

We have lived here in defiance almost a year. Have been shopping at Walmart. Decided to give meijers a try for some reason the other day. Could not believe the better quality in fruits and vegetables. Lower prices. Sales. Meijers is by far our new go to place! And because there were ao many people shopping I believe the freshness of food is better because the food is turning over faster to get restocked.

Meijer is simply one of the best Grocery stores you can go to. The produce is always top notch. The Meijer branded essentials; flour, sugar, pasta, rice, milk, egg, canned goods are legitimately as low as you will find. Prices for fresh meat are reasonable but there are better deals other places. The quality however is unquestionable. So, as always, you get what you pay. The Grocery section still has an old school supermarket feel but is also very modern and efficient. Meijer is also one of the cleanest places in the entire city of Defiance so there's that

Meijer is one of our fave stores of all. Good produce, good sales on clothing. We especially enjoy visiting the one in Defiance, as the people in this community are so nice! We live over two hours away, and visit family in the area. Love north west Ohio!

Very helpful staff. Very clean inside, but still a small store for the area. Serving 4 counties - Defiance, Paulding, Henry and Wiilams plus some people from Putnam - it desperately needs to be larger and better stocked.
