This store makes me feel like family every time I visit them. I have been coming here for many years. Often the ladies at the front desk call me by my first name when greeting me. Sometimes I go in just for one or two small items. And sometimes for a truck load of stuff for a bigger project. Jen, Darlene, Angela, Brett, Cody, and Isaiah are just some of the AWESOME people at this store that I have the pleasure of communicating with on a regular basis.

Needed to purchase a door knob and have it rekeyed to my key to avoid changing all my locks or calling a locksmith. The staff was extremely helpful Cody fixed me right up and got me on my way! I can't say enough about the quality of service I received as opposed to the giant stores service...they will have my business from now on.

My partner and I have been visiting this Ace Hardware for over a decade. It is super convenient and the prices are very reasonable. Also their customer service is excellent.The workers are very helpful and friendly. Even the customers you find in there are friendly. It has an old school, welcoming atmosphere.If I need something for the house and lawn, I always shop here and they never disappoint.

Guy was really friendly and helping someone out of a tough situation with keys they were gifted to them - Xavier was not understanding of the situation and berated the employee after knowingly having them cut the keys, even though he KNEW the guy was off the clock!One produced a satisfied customer who would have come backAnd the manager, Xavier, produced an awkward situation that made everyone feel like children and solved nothing.

Came here to get my keys copied and the guy was so slow he took half an hour to get a couple of keys copied I almost left. Its an unacceptable amount of time for a simple house keys.Update : key did not even work perfectly I have to jiggle them a bit to get it working. Won’t bother coming back for copies or anything else

I ordered two 32 gallon trash cans and had them delivered to my mothers home. I left special instructions for the delivery. They followed the directions exactly as requested. They called before and let me know the time window they would arrive . Great service!

Great store, but left with less parts than we went in with, even though we bought parts. After helping us find bolts and nuts, they sold us a nut that didn't fit the bolt we purchased for our dolly and failed to return the bolts we arrived with, so instead of being down one bolt and nut, we are now down 2 bolts and nuts. Not happy considering the store was over 5 miles away. Geesh!

Great prices! Great variety of your hardware needs. The location is in a great spot of the city.The Senior Sales Associates are always very helpful and knowledgeable. I've seen the same workers for years! I like how they are hiring more younger associates as well.

Went in to buy a power drill and when I got home there was no drill in the box. I took it back and they said they sold me the display box on accident. Maybe you should learn to mark the box so people don't waste their gas having to make a second trip.

I rate this store for friendliness and helpfulness. I had never been in this store, but I needed a few things and it is close to where I live. I walk with a cane and I was having some difficulty with my hand basket and my cane. One of the workers noticed and offered to carry my basket for me, then asked if he could help me find something. I had just a few things on my list and he helped me find everything I needed. THEN he carried my basket up to the check-out, helped me check out AND carried my stuff out to the car:-). I call that extremely helpful and I wouldn't mind going back there if I needed anything again. I'm glad we have a store like this in my area :-)

I visited this store b/c it was close and I needed something to hang my picture up with. I was greeted at the door which was nice however there were like 5 employees there and everyone acted as if they were so busy they couldn’t help me actually find what they could explain to me. There was a man who paged for another employee to help me and no one came. Wasted gas and 15 minutes of my life. Very dirt on the inside as well. Would not recommend.

I like ACE Hardware stores. Not necessarily the lowest priced hardware stores around but they are in neighborhoods and usually always have what I need in stock. Here the staff is very helpful, especially the young man, Antonio. He was especially helpful and courteous. Jen Jen, at checkout, was very friendly and personable. Will go back to this store.

It's a cool little store, reminds me of a true hardware store in a small town where everyone knows you. There was a bit of clutter in the aisles but all in all, I will definitely drop back in again when I have more time to really look around. Cashier was great, she is a really good finishing touch.

My go-to hardware store! Feels like a mom and pop hardware store but with the huge variety of items and great pricing expected from Ace. The customer service here is exceptional with a lot of older and knowledgeable staff. Dayton is lucky to have this place.

Very helpful staff! Even though the store seems small from the street, I can always find what is necessary to do my home projects here. The selection us great! The prices are fair. They carry some candies here that I just have not seen anywhere else.

Young guy helped me with a water filter and tubing. He was very patient and read the packages more accurately than I did. He also fitted the plastic tube to make sure it fitted correctly. A+ service

Rented a carpet cleaner. Ms. Darlene took care of me. I was recommended to go through her and told she will do you right. Every place I went to rent one was way over priced and dirty machines, broken, or missing. I will not go anywhere else to rent a carpet cleaner again. Ave is my place with Ms Darlene
