My girlfriend and I went in to look at puppies. We found one that we really loved and found the price to be $4,300 at the time. The people working said there was a payment plan we could do of around $200 a month. They told us to scan a QR code and fill out the application for the financing plan. Only after I had filled out the application and had been approved was I told that the application was for a credit card with 29.99% APR that the full amount will go onto. I was very upset and felt lied to because I was told that this was a payment plan, not an application for a credit card that would end up costing me over $2,000 more than the price they quoted. We ended up leaving very upset and sad that we could not get the puppy that we had just spent an hour bonding with.

My son came to get crickets but told me i should come in and check it out cause we usually go to Petco. Happy to say we found a new place to go and check out new, cool, and exciting animals. The workers are very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for a good and cool pet store that is friendly and insightful, this is the place to go. I will be back to visit soon.

This location has always been pretty clean and the employees there are little more knowledgeable than some of the other locations of pet stores that I have been to they are friendly and they make sure to answer your question to the bestof their abilities. I have never had a bad experience going to this particular location yes they do have feeder mice and feeder rats it just depends on if they are in stock cuz they do so quickly once they get their feeder rats in

They had plenty of animals, birds and adorable puppies. I found it odd that their are puppy sale signs everywhere on exterior of building, parking lot etc but zero information posted on inside in regards to price, breed, age, weight and the one sales associate that I chased down with my questions couldnt answer them.I thought the dog food & accessories were spendier than big box pet stores. Which is fine if the customer service is one notch above big box. It wasn't.

I went in one fateful afternoon on Sunday 4/13/23 not expecting much but once I entered the reptile center my whole life changed I met my lifelong friend name nickacado he was a crested gecko but so much more to me I immediately bought him and everything thing he could ever need, he means the world to me. We went to a picnic a theme park Golden Corral etc it was an amazing purchase I recommend. Pic of nickacado ❤️

It seems a little small the variety is not very good they didn't have the password like 30 in a pack when I usually get 150 they didn't have my dry dog food they didn't have my wet dog food

Got 2 Guinea Pigs from this store on different dates. Both only lasted for about 2 months. One was a baby and just died one day. The last one that died, they said was about 9 months old. When he got sick, we took him to the vet and the vet said he wasn't really sick and that he was actually about 6 and a half years old and on his last leg. All of our other Guinea Pigs (all different ages) were purchased from other stores and are all still alive and well.

My fiance and I went in here looking for a specific guinea pig that was moved from the Beaver Creek location, but stumbled upon a little lady we named Bella.They told us she was pregnant, but it is white obvious she is.While her nails we're unkempt, she seems to be in very good health.However, the staff here is not as knowledgeable as I wished. They only had an estimate as to how old she was and, upon asking how car along she was in her pregnancy, I got two completely different answers. I plan to take her to the vet soon to get further looked at.Overall, they were friendly here and the place was huge and very clean.

I felt a little rushed that day I had just got a new puppy and the girl gave me puppy food for small breeds and he is a Pitt. So I'm going to have to change his food again. I also thought that when you came in there with a new puppy that you were given like a puppy book where you can get like a collar with her name on it or something for like 50% off it had like deals and it like that do you guys not do that anymore. I never received one.

Had one of my birds die from some kind of illness and the staff were more than helpful and friendly in helping me get a new bird. Manager Li was awesome in helping me find the issue and went out of her way to set things right. If you need a good place to find a animal or any of their needs with a helpful friendly staff this is the place to go

Dropped in just to see what they have and discovered one of the best kept fish departments (clean and healthy) that I have seen including the seldom seen else where live aquarium submersed plants. I need all the help I can get in this corner and to find a nearby source for these is really got me excited about the whole thing again...believe it or not.Also in my brief couple of visits I have had no problem getting waited on or being rushed with my purchase.If you have one tank or suffer the multi tank syndrome I recommend you go take a look. Not a bad selection of hard goods either including plant lights

I went in to purchase dog washable diapers. I spoke to an employee and she didn't know if they had them. I took it upon myself to look around and on the end of the aisle we were on, employee included, there they were hanging and present. Crazy! Then they had doodles, second generation. There is no such thing, a mutt, that's what it is. Plain and simple mutt. 🤦‍♀️

The animals and staff are amazing. The pet prices are higher than snoop dog. While playing with a puppy that was "on sale" for half price, I found multiple breeders in the area that were 20% cheaper than the 50% off price. I understand that they offer financing and breeders don't but, it was an insane upcharge.

I’ve been fishkeeping since December and I wanted to try keeping cherry shrimp. When I was connected to Dayton’s Petland they were more than happy to get my information and promised to call me when their shrimp order came in on Friday. They held to their word and put cherry shrimp on reserve for me once they received their order.When browsing their fish center the same day I noticed how well kept all the tanks were! Including an amazing verity of freshwater fish! More species of platies that I could count! David the fish center manager, Bonnie the assistant and Megan the store order were incredibly kind and helpful.Megan corrected my home address in their system so they could send me coupons for future orders.Last but not least they promised they would happily take surrendered fish babies I have at home.Thank you rayon Petland you all are amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

This is a neat "big box" pet store. The fish selection is pretty decent, the tanks are clean and the fish look vibrant and healthy. I bought 6 Bleeding Heart Tetras and they are doing fantastic at home. Small selection of "small animals" and reptiles were tidy as well. I think puppies are kind of their calling card but worth a visit for a fish enthusiast as well.
