You guys need to stop hiring people working in sports bras and leggings, kids go in this store and don’t need to see provocative images like that! Do better and stop hiring just anyone to work at that register. It’s frustrating to see really cause this happens all the time.

It’s a nice little go-to neighborhood store. Always clean and stocked. The employees are always friendly. If you want to save money this isn’t for you. Almost every item is nearly double the price of local grocery stores.

This store is okay as far as neighborhood stores go, decent prices, clean, friendly staff, it's just one thing I didn't like. They didn't have any frozen potatoes!😲 No frozen fries, tots, curly fries, hash brown no nothing🤨 I mean what kinda store doesn't sell frozen crinkle cut fries?🤔omg

I love People's market because when everybody else is out of pans aluminum foil etc etc I remember last year for Christmas everybody was closed but People's market was available for families who wasn't able to make it to go to regular stores and what I mean by regular stores is Kroger's Walmart when they was closed people market was open and I appreciate it and I love the fact that the young lady who does the ordering Kenzie's right sheet order more than enough thanks people market

People's market is just what it implies, it's not a bad place to shop in terms of not having a nice selection of goods but its location is in the midst of people who are struggling in life and being approached and asked for loose change or a fling can be an expected experience but it's no problem and it's everyday life for the residents within that location. The store deserves a good rating. I would return to shop if I was in the location for a quick run in run out.

Not the greatest selection but for being such a small store it's pretty good. Staff is friendly and very helpful and the owner is almost always there and is very kind. While the food selection may not be the greatest their drink selection can't be beat except by maybe Walmart. Great for a quick meal or if you need some basic items. Oh and their deli is pretty darn good.

This store is located in a urban low income area of town..To my pleasure everyone was nice and helpful as I shopped in new surroundings. At check out the lady was very nice and asked how I was doing and wished me a good nite..The only negative was the shopping carts had to stay within the steel post so you had better have extra hands to carry the groceries to your car...

I went in there to see if they would be able to cash my check she went in the back and then came out had me sign it and put the last 4 ssn and my phone number and went in the back and then came back say sorry we can't bc the signature on my ID doesn't match so now no place is able to cash it I tell the clerk and no remorse at all and told me to get out so I'm out of 300 dollars people's market owes me 300 dollars poor customer service ever

Purchased meat 4 different times didn't stay fresh for one day , purchased Sara lee cheese cake strawberry topping strawberries were nearly black cheese cake tasted spoiled , got bologna from deli is guess the blade they used wasn't clean my bologna had some type of gritty substance on ea. slice , lettuce badly wilted , prices way too high for quality of food purchased just ridiculous

Watch the expiration dates! All the blocks of mozzarella cheese were OVER 2 years old when I was there, so be careful! Otherwise a decent little neighborhood store!

Couldn't even cash for simple pay check... Ran out of money... how does that even happen? They need to do better with these neighborhood markets. A lot of times we don't have a choice and we have to take whatever we have offered to us. I for one know there are better things out there and am offended.

Good for a cheap pack of meat quickly...but not worth the time considering the activity surrounding the area quite near the store. I always feel like I could have some trouble...I only make urgent quick trips if I have too.

Be careful. Sells a lot of expired produce, meat, and cakes. I told cashiers numerous times about expired food still on the shelves.
