This Kroger's on Wayne ave is only good for a quick pick up. It needs a reboot not the cleanest and doesn't carry all the things the bigger newer Kroger's. Also when they have to have a security guard at the front doesn't make you feel the safest.

I made an order blunder for my company by ordering 200 pieces of chicken and 200 cookies with Wayne, but driving to Woodman. I felt so SO terrible, but Wayne and Woodman were both so accommodating and reassured me that I can cancel my Wayne order, as they would use the items for other customers. Thank you so much for your understanding! Next time, I'll be sure to confirm!! Whoever the lady was that handled my call is amazing!

It is a smaller store, not one of those huge ones . Easier for me, a senior citizen to navigate ,plus is a gentleman an older black fellow who can help find anything in the store for you and doesn't stop until he finds it.

The Kroger on Wayne Ave has a crowded cashier's line at all times.The Kroger on Alex Bell didn't have my paid order ready.The Kroger on Burkhardt and Woodman is the best one of all.

Piss poor stock making my job impossible. Extra rude deli employee allowing someone to wait over 15 min with no line then refuse service when she finally came back. Even more rude management. Horribly unprofessional and this location should be permanently closed.

Everyone is typically pretty friendly. It is a smaller store so it's not going to have everything the bigger stores have but you can still pretty much get everything you want.

Clean store. It's a compact Kroger, not the superstore, but the stock is overflowing. Excellent in-store bakery.Check out wasn't so nice, only ONE checkout person when I was ready so it took far too long to get out.But I like the place.

Whoever manages this Kroger needs to get these employees some help. I walked in tonight to buy things to make dinner. There was one cashier and the line literally went all the way down one isle to the very back of the store. Even though this is the worst I have seen it, it is almost this bad on any given night. They obviously aren't spending any money to renovate this location, so they should be spending it on paying people a decent wage so they can attract and retain employees. For a lot of people in this area, this is the only grocery store they can easily get to, and Kroger is clearly taking advantage of that.

Brandt Pike Kroger Dayton Ohio. Overheard employees behind the meat counter wall discussing a peep hole in the family bathroom as though it were a commonly known attraction in the store. Use extreme caution.

Their produce hasn't been up to par lately.I don't know if it's the farm t hey get it from or if the trucks are slow to deliver it. But it's not at it's peak freshness.

It's tiny. Not horrible. Know that they won't have all the items like a regular sized Kroger. Be careful if you use a cane or wheelchair as the parking lot is at a slant. They have a kiosk to make keys here.

A lot was trash before starting would have wanted to really dropped here and then entry love is still good Windows Missouri three parts in the whole place that's good good cashier's worth very nice. Security guard he was right on it. Of course closed at 7 minutes till they closing time. Is not very enjoyable shopping we'd let her go across town than to go through that again.

I was disappointed with the cashier whom did not explain clearly and took my money. But the young man putting the roasted peanuts away was a blessing. He actually went in search for my item. This was my first time at this krogers and I don't want it to be my last.

I went here today and was checked out by two employees, a white girl and a mixed boy with dreads. I tried to buy some alcohol but didnt have my id on me, so i said i would go out to the car to see if it was there. the mixed boy started laughing at me. the girl was very rude and acted like the interaction was a waste of her precious time. their manager, David, was right there the whole time and did nothing to absolve this issue.dont go here. they have dumb kids working on the registers, like everywhere nowadays

If you have to use a walker or a wheelchair do not go to the store you cannot get through check out it will not fit the aisle this store is extremely small

I empathize with your employee shortage issues, but as a customer courtesy, when your deli is closed, would you consider posting notice at entry. This would alleviate frustration experienced after nearly completing shopping and arriving at the deli only to find it closed. I have nearly exclusively shopped at your store for 40 years, but will need to consider alternatives if this issue cannot be improved.

So, if you're looking at this place you already know it's not the prettiest grocery store around, but that's okay. It's got a good selection of goods despite being a somewhat small store. All the essentials. It can feel a bit cramped and lines back up sometimes but they usually move very fast. Staff is always friendly and they don't seem to judge me for buying 2 pints of ice cream and 4 bags of chips in yesterday's sweatpants so that's nice. It's a Kroger that ain't too full of itself.

My son was completely racially profiled here at this store! He went in with his grandma for the first time and was accused of being someone else!!! When he just came in to help his grandma shop. Completely frightening my son who’ve never experienced anything like this! Terrance was the manager on duty and Sam was the security guard! Thankfully, my son remained calmed although he was accused by the cashier of being another man and talking with the police!My family will never be back to this location!!

Every time I go there,It seems they don't know how to behave with customers. Nobody taught these kids how to be respectful or customer service based. There is a young girl By the name of Juanita who thinks it's her responsibility to reprimanded or scold me. I am 60 years old.She goes so fast and is so rude. She glares at me whenever I walk in.She never asks me for my Kroger card, so I tell her to please stop and scan it. Last time i was there I said please stop and scan my Kroger card, she went off on me telling me that she's sick and tired of my mouth and that she doesn't have to wait on me If she feels disrespected or offended. She walked away, and a young man completed the order. All the while, she'sComplaining about me to the other associates who clearly don't have anything to do either. Another time I was in there, another girl did the same thing but she was talking to her friend while she was waiting on me. I asked her to focus on my order and that one item should pay for at least five minutes of undivided attention. She argued that was not true. I told her that she gets her salary because there's customers. She disagreed and walked off the line. I was standing there in line with other people waiting for someone else to come and complete the order. Never again! When did customer service disappear?

I actually like this store. It is alot smaller than the bigger Krogers but they have a great supply justlike the bigger ones do. When I first moved to Dayton 6 years ago everyone kept saying don't go to this one its dirty. Well I thought I'd just try it one day and it's not dirty at all. My daughter's take me to get my groceries and I always tell them I want to go to this one.

Definitely time for this community to get a remodeled Kroger and parking lot. Not only does half the store smell of rotten food, but most of the carts are just holding together. There is not enough options at this location I'm sure having to do with how incredibly small this building is compared to how many in this community it serves.

DBK - Close to home, has the essentials, always something interesting going on here. Come for the stuff you forgot to buy at a better Kroger but stay for the cozy sketchy vibes. 10/10 would recommend. Worried about shopping here cause its sketchy? Don't worry - they took up 4 spots in the parking lot with cameras and flashing police lights. Staff is overwhelmed constantly but has always been kind.
