I work here! Yet, every single week I shop here(when I get paid) and use the self checkout...........This weird guy stands so close to you, you can smell his breath. He invades your personal space and acts like your going to steal everything..........AGAIN! I WORK HERE!!!!!! He went as far as going behind me, after me and my wife had paid. He printed out a receipt and was double checking it and asked if we scanned something we knew we already had and paid for. This is utterly unacceptable, disrespectful, demeaning, and down right rude! The receipt thing just happened today but this is every week with this guy! Personal space issues! If there was any place closer, I wouldn't even shop here, for this exact reason and that's sad!

ya know the woodman store when it was first opened to replace the grossly run down high theft and drug traffic Smithville store was alright but quickly has turned to just a more elegant ghetto/drug vibe kind of place. but, my main reason for reviewing today is I was grilling some hot dogs during a break in the rain and I noticed while preparing the buns that the new marketing labeling on the kroger brand packaging clearly states "new formula". that is a significant red flag and raises eyebrows as when you are baking and such you follow a recipe. formulas are what you use in math and chemistry...leads me to wonder what kind of carcinogens and chemicals yall are putting into your products to pass for food? and it's more concerning that yalls bread doesn't mold anymore...ive purposely left a loaf on the counter all year of yalls house brand honey wheat and have opened it several times to let fresh air in and it has yet to mold...leading to the scientific conclusion that it's no longer bread because mold only goes after organic substances and won't go after chemicals and foreign substances that are not biological in nature...ill be baking my own bread going forward...

Online says open till 11pm, automated call line says open till 11pm but when I arrive at 10:04 doors locked with a sad excuse for a security guard while on his phone saying “we’re closed” all I needed was a single can of baby formula for my son. Had I known they close at 10 I would’ve went somewhere completely different. Called the store to explain this and was hung up on twice

Very few registers, and the pick up option requires a person to be signed into the app. There’s no other way to let them know you’re there for pickup.Trader Joe’s is so much better than this place.

Love this store. Everything here is the freshest and they have a huge selection of produce and meats. They have a nice sushi bar and chicken bar too.

Really nice store! Has always had everything I needed, it's really BIG to be as clean as it is(yeah I know it's brand new) but it looks like they're doing a good job keeping it that way.

Scheduled an appointment for the flu vaccine. Couldn’t find the little clinic so I went to the pharmacy and the guy told me they don’t do those here. I told him I have an appointment at this address. He seemed Bewildered. They don’t offer these services at this location. Call customer support and the lady recommended the same store. She tried calling them to confirm this, and they weren’t able to connect on the phone. She scheduled me another appointment at The Dorothy Lane store. They really need to update their system. When I was standing in the line at the pharmacy, they had all these advertisements for the flu vaccine. They can’t even do it at the store.

We needed anew kroger in this area so bad, so I am happy we finally got one. However, no deli makes me very unhappy. The selection is better, isles are wider and everything is easy to find. But, I don't like checking myself out. Also, they have been out of the kitten food I need for months now.

No deli, never enough workers, extremely rude and unhelpful workers. They close at 10 not 11 they know their website is wrong and don't care enough that customers waste their time and gas to change it. Really wish they'd not have combined stores because this was the biggest fail.

I want to thank Curt, the manager, and both the Deli and Bakery departments!! I made an order blunder for my company by ordering 200 pieces of chicken and 200 cookies with Wayne, but driving to Woodman. I felt so SO terrible, but Wayne and Woodman were both so accommodating. Without hesitation or knowing where things fell through, Woodman was apologetic and immediately began working on the order. Within 10 minutes I had a platter of cookies and within 45 minutes I had 200 pieces of chicken. Even after explaining what happened and apolgizing, there was no change in tone or helpfulness. Thank you all for your incredible customer service and resolution. Your "can-do" attitude made all the difference!! 😊

This Kroger seems to enforce self checkout, which makes me largely avoid this store unless my purchase is small. I will fill my cart at Costco and only stop here for smaller trips due to the lack of registers and customer support.The store is quite large and has a diversity of products.

This woman has zero professionalism and is extremely disrespectful. She continued to harass me during my check out over a $1.50 coupon that the system honored and she wouldn't. I told her it was embarrassing and i felt targeted. She stood over me the entire time i checked out. She told me she was black and white so that wasn't possible. Color has nothing to do with poor behavior and disrespect of customers in the work place. Discrimination and prejudice comes in many forms not just race and color. She then continued to follow me out of the store and the security guard had to tell her to go back to doing her job and to leave me alone. I will be escalating this and hope kroger takes this type of horrific customer service seriously.

Pretty disappointing Kroger experience. There's no deli counter, just pre-cut, beer selection is terrible, and when I went the bakery was pretty much out of everything.

I think it’s great. Just wish they’d add one or two more regular checkouts as opposed to all self checkouts. And bring the deli back please. Otherwise love it.

The facility is nice, the checkout is lacking.Their primary focus seems to be on self scan lanes, that a full of issues.Would like to see more cashier lanes (the store was planned for only 2 cashier lanes)

Self check out was fast, lines were manageable compared to surrounding kroger marketplaces this time of day. Self checkout lady was very helpful. Store was clean and everything was stocked for the most part.

Google says kroger close at 11pm. I went there to pick up some things at 10pm and they told me they were closed. Need to change the time on Google so people don't waste gas.

Worst Krogers ever! Cashier at UScan physically pushed me out of the way bc she didn't like how I bagged MY PURCHASES, proceeded to open packages and finger various raw food items with her bare hands! The cashier then went line by line on the register trying to find where I had not scanned something. Frustrated that she couldn't find anything wrong, she proceeded to get an empty cart and started removing my items from my cart & putting them in the empty one. After watching over my shoulder (so close I could smelll her every rancid breath) while I finished scanning, she then grabbed the receipt from my hands after I paid and went thru each item a third time!The manager I requested and complained to completely disregarded everything and didn't even apologize. I was insulted, harassed and physically assaulted without any reason or provocation.

They closed 2 kroger stores and opened this one, honestly it's too small for the area it serves, 1/2 of the self checkouts are closed every time I'm in there, usually after work which is probably the busiest time of the day for them. This leads to rediculously long lines and frustrated shoppers. There are only 2 or 3 registers with actual cashiers, but usually only one is open at a time. Also there is no cold deli, all the meat is pre-sliced, and no one is happy about that, instead they put in a sushi bar, which is the weirdest thing to add, in this area. A cold deli would have made more sense. The parking isn't bad, but getting out of the parking lot is often difficult. I miss my smaller kroger and have started going to the kroger across the street from where I work, it's just easier.

The Kroger's fabulous. Very new and clean. People who work there are so helpful and nice. Starbucks being there is so convenient. My negative is the prices. I just will stop by for Milk or Bread cause it's close but, overally Walmart fits me better.

This Kroger is desperately in need of a upgrade. The store looks dated. However, it’s very clean, they offer a complimentary mask, very well stocked with the basics of every Kroger, very close to busy roads so I’m sure it’s a convenient location for people.

This has become my favorite Kroger.I am disabled, and despite this store always being busy, I always find handicapped parking, and I always find a charged up ridy cart. I cannot shop without one.The employees are always helpful and courteous too.The only thing I dislike about this Kroger is it's all self checkout.

This review is about Krogers Delivery now out and the inability to find their stock in the Woodman and other Dayton stores.Krogers Woodman takes over the spot left vacant by the closing of the Smithville Ave store of Worst delivery fulfillment of instock items in the industry .Everytime I have used delivery ( krogers or instacart) I have been disappointed. I feel ripped off paying a fee AND a TIP and getting about half the order and then having to go to the store anyway to pick up the items that were out of stock for delivery but miraculously on the shelf when i get there!Why can't the inventory be correct on line so I know that these things are NOT available for delivery??!!!??.Once again tonight i added my dinner as at 5 pm they would not pick the order pick up tonight so i had to get delivery so not to have to shop tomorrow and i needed at least the dinner food tonight. So when i get home guess what? 14 of 23 items we delivered.Kroger Stock holders are you not outraged at this mismanagement. How many home delivery's company wide are leaving almost half the money on the table because they can't find the items ( that are obviously in the store this in my 6th times to have this happen.) Thousands of dollars hundreds of thousands of dollars not to mention the customer disappoints!and you could care less as the registers are ringing in the store, for now! ( this is year two that this is still happening)IGA, Fulmer's, A&P, Big Star, and thousands more groceries others have closed because they too big for their britches and gave bad service and chased their customers to the arms of the new competitor with this shotty this kind of customer service.More Sushi bars are not going to fix this problem.You need to get out of the office and shop this experience and find and fix the problems or just stop if you can't do it better than this!
