Use to be my go to store, I live walking distance. Never will I EVER step back into this store.6/22/23 NATASHA the MANAGER closed down the cigarette self at 8….. 2 hours before they close because they have to do paperwork……. Like every other store. That’s the second time I came and it’s been closed early. That’s probably why the cigarettes are on sale(hint) because they lock them up 2 hours early. She was very unprofessional and rude. Thank God there is a new dollar general opening up on linden. I’ll be taking my business there. I’ve never had a problem at this store I’ve been going there for 3 years now. With new businesses opening up and managers like that I don’t see y’all lasting long.

They really need to do some training on customer service. The cashier here was rolling her eyes, waving her hands around and refused to re ring for coupons ordering me around. You gotta pick your battles it was too late at night for me to argue with a cashier. Y’all need to do some serious training on politeness

I was just inside here today and I heard the "training manager" bitching about this place REALLY you idiot! i have been inside so many Family Dollars Stores and this one by far has the best staff and Best Manager it is the cleanest and most organized store I have ever seen...........If you want good employees to stay you better start treating them with respect and appreciation! SLAVE DRIVERS...........

Convient place to grab quick items. The whole staff are always friendly and helpful. I would have give five stars but there is always boxes of product out sometimes a little bit in the way of shopping. I do not blame the staff because they are very hard working, they hussle quicking between giving good customerservice and trying to put stock away. They are in great need of more staff. So if upper management reads this, then hire more people for this great crew you already have and give them a raise.

I use to go to Snothville FD, and then I decided to try the Burkhardt store because the Smithville store was always sold out of things. The aisles were always blocked or cluttered. The manager stated to me that there is a NO RETURN OR REFUND POLICY there no matter what. I tried to exchange a pack of childrens T shirts for a smaller size and she said NO! I even had my reciept from an hour earlier! She also said they dont restock the shelves once a product is gone. Now that I go to the Burkhardt store I know I will get everything I have on my list. The staff is always friendly and they actually talk to me. The aisles are always clear and the store is a lot cleaner than the Smithville store. The Smithville store could learn a lot from the Burkhardt store.

My son just started working here yesterday. YESTERDAY. He was left completely alone in the store all day with no training! He’s having panic attacks. This is insane.
