I visit this store frequently. Usually I get good service but they hired a new girl who is ridiculously slow. Anytime she's there the line is backed up into the food aisle. And she is rude. If you say hello or thank you she stares at you and refuses to respond.

The cashier with the braided black hair should not be working in customer service. I was the only customer in line and she just continued to talk to her two friends (that apparently were visiting her at work) while ignoring me. So I just set my stuff down on the counter and waited for her to finish her conversation. She didn’t say a single word to me. Not a hello, how’re you doing, have a nice day nothing. I snatched my receipt and walked out. Do not go here!!

Went there this morning on my way to work.First of all the cashier i believe her name is Kayla,I only know her name because I complained about her before.She doesn’t need to be working with the public.She doesn’t speak at all smh,i don’t understand why she is still there.Not to mention the card reader being down after she rang me up.They need to do something about that,because a lot of people don’t carry cash.At this point I don’t think I’ll return to this location.

I really like the Dollar General better than all the other dollar stores so I really hate to give this store a bad review. My friend and I was there about 10 minutes before they closed and we had been shopping for over an hour . I asked the manager that was sitting in the back office if I could please use them restroom because I had a severe bladders infection and could not hold it .She was also a lady around my same age 50 + . I explained that I knew it was not their policy but since we were the only customers and she was sitting right next to the bathroom would she please make an expectation. She was very rude and would not allow me to use the restroom . I was also purchasing over $100 worth merchandise myself. She could see that my cart was completely full. That's just bad business period! To the manager of that store ....I hope this never happens to you and that where ever you shop ..you are appreciated as a customer and treated with some empathy and understand that sometimes exceptions could be made for the greater good of the business.

I love this location! Kept up nicely, shelves are always stocked, and they always have my nails!!While shopping around inside there tonight, I found in apparel WHITE DOT clothing is now Buy 1, Get 1 50% off! And all winter bennie hats and gloves are 70% off! Didn't catch when sale ended, but those are good deals !!Cute outfit I picked up for $10!

What's the point of having store hours of 9pm closing time when you close @ 8:57. They honestly need to change it to something else if they aren't really open to 9 o'clock in the evening plus they put the phone off the hook

They need a bell at the checkout or something. I stood there awkwardly for 10 minutes with a long line behind me before I decided to just leave. Made me late to work.

Sadie is quite possibly the rudest cashier I have ever met. She has this amazing ability to create policies, especially regarding coupons that are100% WRONG based on Dollar General Policies. Truly amazing how she still has a job. Whoever trained her needs to be fired immediately and a competent manager should be hired. If I could give zero stars I would.Also the fact she brags to other cashiers that she “don’t play” and will call the cops on customers and especially couponers... she needs to go.

This store is great! I love the location and I have to give a special shout out to Sadie. I think she's a manager or cashier there. She is very helpful when I come in and she does a great job!

Maybe its Corona life or poor management, I'm not sure which. I am certain though that every time I enter this location 2 wild animals have just left after having what I can only imagine to be the most epic wrestling match ever. The place is always in disarray and an all around hot mess. Great Sushi next door though.

This location has been open for a while. It is a bigger store that is stocked to capacity and then some. The employees were very friendly and talkative. Which I love, cuz it makes me feel welcomed as a person.

I bought over $60 of items and had my digital coupons put on my order. I ask was my $5 of $25 on this order? They said yes. When I got in the car it was not on my receipt so went back in to show the receipt and was told the store discount is the $5 off. I'm always having problems trying to get coupons used in this store. So tire of it.

I have been to this store once, and the one on Valley street a few times. They are both ok stores with very nice employees, however the stores are very, very crowded. Barely any room to move through the store. I believe corporate should think about restructuring all stores and cut back on the amount of stuff they sell.

This store has really improved with the new manager April. It is clean and well kept now. The employees seem to enjoy being there. April is a pleasure to deal with.

Convenient location for me. Prices are awesome and they have a huge variety of just about everything! I buy large quantities of items for our prison ministry and love their online website.

Store hours state this store opens at 8AM. I watched the lights turn on, it's now 8:15AM and the doors still are not unlocked.

The store looked like a storage room. Cart was blocking walking area leaving the store which could be a safety or fire hazard. Stuff on shelves should be in a more orderly appearance

I just wish they'd enforce masks. This is my quick and easy go-to spot since it's close to base, but I hate seeing customers strolling around without masks on.

This is probably one of the better of Dollar General stores that I have been they had the best discounted prices the staff was not that friendly but in their defense I think the female employee was new but the manager was not very sociable and was very quiet but other than that fantastic store to shop at

Not organized,slow check out .only one cashier the line I was in was 20 people Long at one point. they switched over to another cashier? why wasn't she working another drawer?ridiculous!

They don't have as much as others do due to the size. Seems like all Dollar Generals in thr Dayton area are a mess and never fully stocked, need updates and more people staffed.

Very handy for dashing in-and-out. They have a limited inventory but most the stuff you need. The store could be cleaner.
