First time going into this toy store, amazing service! The lady behind the counter was super friendly, greeted us when we walked in and made an effort to get to know us and what ours needs were. She was very warm and welcoming, showed us in the right direction of what we were shopping for. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great experience! She also has the best selection of toys!

It's a small store with a good selection of creative toys and puzzles for young children and good service. I've shopped there for years and you can find the brainy toys - chemistry sets, slime making, crafts -all those fun toys they have in catalogs, locally, plus lots of high quality doll houses and stuffed animals and books. They make recommendations and wrap stuff for you, too! The grandkids are getting older, so I'm going to miss this place.

LOVE this store! I found myself picking up things I wanted to purchase for myself - unique finds for kids AND adults! My boyfriend and I left with Kanoodle, a 3-D puzzle game I haven't seen anywhere else, to entertain us on our long car ride home to VA. I found a book called 'Trees' that has cutout shapes of the leaves at the top, which I've already placed in my hiking backpack to identify tree species during hikes. (The price in Blue Turtle Toys was surprisingly only a $0.07 difference from Amazon!) The store owner, Cathy, has a true passion for the toy business and is anxious to share her recent finds from toy fairs and add to her growing & ever-changing inventory. Highly recommend!

Had the perfect stuffed monkey! Free, professional gift wrapping. One of a kind, mom and pop toy store that is packed full of unusual and fun toys: stuffed animals, wooden toys, books, baby, unique games, dress-up, EVERYTHING that any reputable toy-selling establishment should have. I like to come here and see the unique, classy, up-scale, one of a kind toys. This place has become my go-to destination whenever a new baby is born or a child I love is hospitalized. It's not the cheapest place around, but rightly so. I have NEVER seen the toys they sell here anywhere else. The owner goes to conventions or something and scours the globe for the best stuff. Your mind will be blown by such a collection of toys for all ages! Come here to find something you've never seen before for a child you love, it won't disappoint!

Blue Turtle Toys is a great and small toy shop. They carry a much different selection of toys than your typical big box stores and have a knowledgeable​ staff. They will even gift wrap for you on the spot.

Great store with unique gifts. The staff really knows their toys and even have gift wrapping for those last minute emergencies. The store has a new owner, but it is still the same great store that has been here for years.
