My new favorite fish store - I wish I'd have found this place sooner, when I was initially stocking my tanks! The fish here are notably healthier than at any of the local competitors, and service, selection, and prices are great. He's also got some neat display tanks with fish you won't commonly see as well as some more common species that you don't often get to see grown out (the kind that lesser stores will often sell for a too-small tank). If you're tired of seeing sick and dead/dying fish at big box stores or even at Gerber's or Aquatics Galore, this is the place for you!

This is the only place in dayton I'll be going to buy fish from now on. Healthy fish, awesome selection and Dave really knows his stuff. Also has fish that you don't see at the store from cichlids to community fish. Can't beat his prices either.These glowlight tetra's I picked up from him made me fall in love with this tank again.

So I have to tell you about this amazing find. I was told about this location while out at the stillwater in Englewood. After finding the spot I was very impressed with the Convict and Midas tanks. In fact I got a barred midas at the time, that ended up morphing into a reverse barred xiloaensis. I love this fish. Her name is Tangie. She is an amazing fish and I thank the owner for selling me this fish. Amazing Amphilophus species.

Went to check out the store today. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard about this place before. Such a nice store and yes, I don’t think Dave could get anymore tanks in there! I got to meet Dave and I can tell that this is his passion- very knowledgeable and his tanks look very nice and well cared for! As for his prices, they are very reasonable and his fish look very healthy and active!! It’s a shame there aren’t more places like this and people like Dave in our hobby! I’m so glad I found this store and look forward to making many more visits!!!! We found Aquascapes from a Google search after leaving empty-handed from a different local rip-off of a fish store. The difference was night and day. Dave was funny, friendly, very knowledgeable. He truly cares about these fish and his customers. It's a hobby of his, not just a way to make a buck. His shop is an hour from us, but we will definitely make the trip again. Got a great variety of fish to add to our growing collection and the prices were unbeatable.

Even though currently under construction all fish were healthy and well cared for. I've been to atleast a dozen local fish stores and this one blows them all out of the water. Dave is very friendly and has great fish at great prices. Even if you aren't in the area if you're looking for fish this is the place to go.

Met owner/breeder Dave today at the GCAS auction. So glad I did. Drove up to Dayton afterwards to visit his fishroom/shop. Great little hidden gem. The tanks are probably some of the most established and clean I have seen. Wonderful selection. Unique fish and your standard fare. Really enjoyed meeting Dave and loved the fishroom. Need another excuse to drive up to your shop.

Nice little backroom Tropical fish place. If you're looking for some unique cichlids it's definitely the place to go that has a lot of other stuff. Very small privately owned the guy could use business.
