We have brought our miniature poodle here for about 11 years.They are always very honest about what they can or cannot do and consistently do a great job.The one or two times, there was something not to my liking, they took her right back and fixed it.They are just really good and caring groomers.

My groomer of 20+ years was not able to groom our two munchkin dwarf cats due to some health issues so I reached out to a childhood friend of mine, Keith Hudson he referred me to this location. He trusted the location with his two cats and he said they did an exceptional job with the grooming abilities here. I called the groomers and set up an appointment three weeks ago and dropped our cats off today Mila and Harlee, They are munchkin dwarf cats and I was concerned about how they would acclimate A new facility and new groomers. I was pleasantly surprised that when I received a phone call that both cats were done in two hours I was amazed. When I pick them up, I asked them how both girls did. They said they were kind sweet and they did an excellent job. When I spoke to the team at this location I felt comfortable and their abilities to care for our cats, and to ensure their safety, and make sure that they experience was going to be great. From the moment I dropped them off I was greeted by two ladies They took all my Information and walked me through the process that would happen with the cats and the different things that we could do for them At this location. The cats are back home now. They look amazing they’re comfortable. They’re relaxing I feel going to a groomer is A loyal thing that you do once you find a groomer that fulfills all your wants and needs for your animals and Checks off all the boxes that is a big comfort in so many ways. If you are looking for a groomer, I highly recommend them and again Time at this location and we definitely will be returning.

Animal Castle has groomed our pets since 2002 and has always done a wonderful job. We love our groomer and the experience with our dogs. Every time they can’t wait to go and drag me in and never want to leave the place.

I took my Yorkie here for a groom on Saturday because her groomer isn’t available this week and I wanted to get her trimmed and clean before I take her for surgery next week. She has the WORST choppiest hair cut I have EVER seen and when I picked her up she was trembling and still (24 hours later) seems distraught. When I pick her up from Luna’s Grooming salon she always calm and happy. We will not be back!!

All I had done is a nail trim they said $12 to cut them $15 if they need to grind.The very tall man was very nice but I notice after we took her home the nails are super long still and jagged where cut and needed grinded instead. Some nails are totally missed it’s super obvious and not even cut, not sure why or how this got missed. I would have been fine with the grind version to get them nice but this is awful. I should have examined her before we left, Always do that!The place was very dirty in the lobby- clearly a lot of built up filth and it smelled terrible like the filtration system is non existent or they need an air purifier running. Didn’t want to leave a review like this but I wasted time and money for a simple nail trim to be fumbled- don’t go here

I brought my senior dog in for routine grooming. They washed, brushed, cleaned his ears, and clipped his toenails in about 5 hours, it was very reasonable and they clipped my puppy's toenails for free. My dog came out soft and fluffy and smiling and the staff made me feel that I was valued and understood how important my dogs are to me.

We just want to express our gratitude to Heather, Mike, and Chrissie for their AMAZING work on "Padraic." Paddy arrived into our son's life filthy from head to toe. We realized we needed some professional help to get him cleaned up properly. Heather, Mike, and Chrissie provided patient, knowledgeable, and excellent care as they worked with Paddy.When we arrived for pick-up we couldn't believe our eyes! The grooming and care were wonderful, and Paddy was so happy! They even took extra time to help us better understand some of the unique grooming needs of this breed. We can't recommend Animal Castle - Dayton enough and are already looking forward to visiting them again in a few weeks.

Warning, these are not professional dog groomers they don’t know breeds they trimmed the hair of my Great Pyrenees which true groomers know you can’t cut the hair of large breed long-haired dogs like Pyrenees huskies, etc.. The hair is now at four months still not grown back. I’m hoping it will within a year avoid this place. they truly are too lazy to brush out a long-haired dog. They cut the hair to avoid the excessive work and overcharge for the work that they do they’re arrogant. and I strongly advise staying away from this place, like you would a disease.

We have a new puppy and took her to see Chrissy. She has been caring for our dogs for over 14 years. We have been elsewhere but she is by far the best! She took time to talk to me about how to handle my new puppy and talked to me after her first visit. I 💯 recommend her!

Great place, very loving and caring. Ashlee was fantastic. So many places treat the animals like business, not true here. They actually care and take time with the clients owners to interact. Great work and try to keep it stress free for the pets. We were referred to here and don't regret a thing. We live the grooming and care so much. Our dog (boy) is family and goes everywhere with us and you treated him as one of your and our family. Customer for life !

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I have two dogs one of which has severe anxiety issues and I always get so nervous taking them anywhere because of bad experiences at other groomers. I talked to Michael prior to bringing them in. He made me feel so comfortable over the phone and ensured me they would be taken care of. When I dropped them off Michael and his team made me feel so welcome and I walked away feeling confident they were going to take care of my fur babies, and that they did! They called me giving me an update and said how much they loved and enjoyed having them, including my more “sensitive” dog. I recommend them to anyone in the area and if not in the area, worth the drive to check them out! Lastly, the pricing was perfect and the offer free nail trimmings anytime once you are a customer. My husband brought our two Great Pyrenees into your business today for a bath and haircut. My dogs have been groomed by many different businesses and NEVER have they ever looked this good! I'm in amazement. I am also very aware that my dogs are less than cooperative and not easily groomed, and still they look perfect. Their hair is cut perfectly, they are extra soft, and their dreaded nails look wonderful (even their extra dew claws). I cant thank your business enough. I was referred to Animal Castle from a Friend. We have two enormous dogs: Bernese Mountain Dog and English Mastiff. Alot of grooming places are hesitant about Big Dogs, but they welcomed them with open arms. The experience from calling to set the appointment up by Lisa to picking our Fury Friends up was phenomenal. The Staff was so friendly, the dogs felt comfortable in that friendly environment , and they were both groomed in a reasonable time 👍Thanks Lisa and the Whole Staff🤝We will be back to schedule soon🙌

Took great care of our daughter's kitty, Lolaa; and treated her like a member of our family. Used the rinse less shampoo too, which was a little more costly for us; but less dramatic for kitty Lolaa. Would recommend to anyone!

My dog was partially groomed when I picked her up. The groomer missed a strip down her back and it didn't look like anything was trimmed from the shoulders ---> up. Plus the inside of her ears were still packed with hair. Not good quality for the amount that I paid.

Took my dog, who is pretty furry, for a fur cut. They gave him back where it looked like they stopped half way. They shaved half of his belly fur completely while keeping the upper half unshaven. It was so bad that I didn't even want them to fix it. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

My friend took her dog at like 10am and didn't have to rush to pick her up they doggysit till 8pm and it was only $45 to get her looking like new and be watched and they figured out she was in heat for the first time so my friend would know and get diapers for her they called to let her know this place is great they care I would definitely recommend
