I became a regular customer & club member a few months ago. Every time I shop there, the staff is extremely knowledgeable & friendly. B/c I joined their club, if I can't remember an item I want to repurchase, the staff can look it up in less than a minute. Awesome customer service from a sales staff who are extremely knowledgeable about wildlife preservation. I never feel pressured into purchasing but always know I’m getting a good price on the highest quality items. I love the monthly educational opportunities taught by the manager who is an erudite and entertaining speaker and naturalist. I've learned so much about wildlife, conservation, bird songs, and natural resources from this resourceful and helpful staff. They love what they do and it's evident with each visit.

This place has everything you'd need for birding, and nothing in the store is overpriced (I researched a couple of feeders beforehand.) Much to my delight, the owner now carries Runamok Maple Syrup, and if you've never tried it, you're missing out. The sparkling syrup is unbelievably gorgeous, light, and delicious. The cinnamon vanilla is extra thick and creamy. She carries a couple other flavors too. I love everything about this small locally owned business.

There aren’t too many shops like this around anymore. They have a nice selection of food, feeders and houses.I also picked up their advanced pole system and have been impressed how well it deters squirrels with the baffle. I love the modularity and ability to swap elements out as the seasons change.Prices are definitely a bit higher on the products, but “you get what you pay for”.One area I’d like to see more product availability around is different roost boxes. With our cold climate, birds need a place to go for the night. They have really nice bird houses, but roosts have different requirements.All in all, this is a nice shop and I’d recommend a visit.

This is a lovely store with a well educated staff. The product variety is incredible compared to any bigbox store. However, because it's just a store front, the prices are a bit higher... But if you are, or are in love with a birding enthusiast, and want something special or different, this is the store for you. They have a great variety of Oriole feeders, and some great variations on suet shapes, and probably a dozen ways to keep squirrels away!

There are many reasons that you want to shop this store!1) Mary Beth and the rest of the staff are true professionals2) They know their products and they know birds. We had several issues of concern and they addressed them all. We never felt like we were a bother to them, actually quite the opposite, they were enthused by our enthusiasm.3)Instead of buying online whereas it is not easy to see the quality, you can come in here and actually set up what you want, which is what we did with the aps bird pole system. We changed out options several times till we had exactly what we wanted. In fact, we liked it so much that we just bought a second one.4)Typical sales people, I think NOT! You don't get the person hiding in the back of the store who is only there to collect a paycheck nor do you get the pushy salesman just trying to run up your bill. You get expert advise, suggestions, information and options, never once feeling pressured.5) They offer free classes.6) They are locally owned which means your helping to support your community.7) Some have commented about it being a little too pricy. Look at the whole picture and you will find that Not to be the case. Your buying quality fresh bird seed without all the fillers (trust me it matters) I worked for a big box store and they had seed that had been in top stock for 2 years. Your buying the right product for your needs, not wasting money on junk food or cheap products that you throw away. I guarantee that you will not get the same expert advise at any big box store. If the products cost a little more, I will gladly pay it because I am not wasting money on the wrong or inferior products.8) Join the savings club, you will earn that back quickly.The one con is the hours are little short especially with my work schedule but i will always find a way to get there when needed.My wife has had many open heart surgeries and on days when she can't get out she enjoys watching all the various kinds of birds at the feeders. We actually keep track of the different species in a book we bought at WBU. I thought I would not care for it but now I can't help to stop and look outside the windows each time I pass to see who is at what feeder.Mary Beth, her dad and the rest have helped us with our squirrel problems, helped us to attract so many different species and have given my wife many hours of enjoyment with more to come. Thank you for the best customer service we have ever had.

I haven't been to the store in person but I have ordered online twice now from the Cuyahoga Falls store after my nearest WBU store, which does not offer online delivery, closed due to Covid19. I have been very happy with my purchases and got everything I ordered. It was well packed and arrived within two days both times. I look forward to visiting the store soon.

I purchased a finch feeder, food and a hook. They seem to have everything I need to start feeding my birds. The birds love coming to my feeder. They also have several suet cakes to choose from. I was told that the squirrels don't like the spicy pepper, but birds can't taste it.

Best place to buy anything for the birds outside. Staff will answer any questions you have and I've asked a lot of questions. All their products are top quality, 100% better than the cheap stuff you find at most stores
