Cool Spot is always a great place to stop for gas or to stop and get something to eat. They carry a ton of products, have clean bathrooms and the restaurant is good eats.

Worst food ever!! Staff very slow getting your order not to mention their cook needs to learn how to cook home fries then when you send home fries back because they are not done still cold instead putting home fries on the grill and cook fry make a little crisp on them they put them in the deep fyer, I told them I would never be back!! When it was cool spot you got good hot cooked meals

I stopped in there today and I had the worst experience, the food was cold wanted home fries they were not hot sent them back they put them in the deep fryer ended up with potato chips, the coffee was cold. I am deeply disappointed. Stopped in to get a hot meal and it was a cold meal instead.

Convenience store staff are always nice and on point. Waitstaff at the "restaurant" is far from polite and could use some help with time management. Rolling silverware while people are waiting for a menu and a drink order would be a start. We're all aware that staffing is an issue, and being patient is a must, but this is another fail on her part. I've been here before when it was a little busier and chalked it up to possibly her being new. This isn't the case.If your time has value, keep going or grab a hot dog at the counter. The "restaurant" isn't worth the wait, in my opinion. If I had all day and nothing to do, I would have stayed.

I always have good experience here, but today one of the servers was yelling and cursing at the cook, I'm not sure what the issue was but she could've set him over to the side instead of embarrassing him like that, that was unprofessional! I wouldn't have blamed him if he just walked out. I'm still giving 4 stars because of the previous experiences.

This place is amazing! It’s a gas station but also in the back is a little restaurant with some of the best food you could ask for and the portions talk for themselves. If you happen to me by here definitely stop in. It’s always very clean and everyone has always been nothing but friendly

Nice little convenience store and fuel station, but I second the other review that the little restaurant/diner in the back has some of the best food I've had on the road. Old school diner style service, atmosphere, and food. 2 thumbs up

This Review is based solely on the Restaurant and not the Gas station itself. However if owned by same people, take heed.I always love to give the local places a shot and if they are good to continue giving them my business. However, over the last year and several visits I don't have anything positive to say.Food: I've had better out of the microwave, which is what most of the food tastes like, I try something different each time. Had steak my most recent visit and it was just inedible I left it on the plate.Service: Extremely slow and not very efficient.Facility: What do you expect out of a gas station, meets expectations.Comes down to, I will not be there again, sad to say.

The store & restrooms we're clean & very friendly service. When leaving thought I was getting a bacon,egg& cheese biscuit instead got a hamburger buns with egg , cheese & literally 3" of bacon. I was disappointed to say the least. I expected a strip of bacon at least.

Haven't been there in a while, used to be in there every other day , it was always friendly little place, food was good.Made ya feel at home. Wish I could get some more of there coffee cups they used to sale. Only have one left out of four. They broke on the way back home.

Stopped to get gas and use restroom. They have a awesome restaurant. Clean, staff friendly, and food was delicious. Price is very affordable. Completely impressed with whole operation.

I just at 4:40 pm today met the meanest most disrespectful clerk I encountered, she literally yelled at me for absolutely nothing and she was very grouchy, I walked in to get gas and cig I told her nicely want 10 gas on that suv pointed at it then she said which car I says the suv That’s when she yelled ( THERE Is TWO SUV WHICH one ) I was shocked but took it like champ lol . Then I said and pack of cigarettes plz she took the money and slammed it on the register lol . Then I just said ok thank you . Lady if you had a bad day please call off and stay home instead of taking it out on customers. I rated 3 bec I been there many times and every experience I had was awesome but this one , and sure it won’t stop me from giving my business. Lots of good people working there . Be happy lady we all go through tough times . Peace

Busy place with generally good prices on fuel...always better than Athens, just 25 miles down the road to the West. Restaurant is ok with good service. Only complaint I have is with the convenience store side, where selections are mostly just pre-packaged stuff: No Krispy Kreme donut case, coffee could be hit or miss, etc. But probably the best gas stop b/t Parkersburg or Belpre and Athens or Pomeroy.

Does anyone ever answer the phone to this establishment? They're probably afraid to knowing that they're selling expired goods. Ewww. I stopped here for gas as I was passing through, grabbed a couple macaroons to enjoy, and was on my way. A miles down the road I realized that the macaroons had been expired for 2 weeks!! Should I have checked the date before buying? Obviously.. But one can only assume that these things are checked regularly, not to mention that there is also a restaurant in the same building raises some serious concern for the people that eat there. Never again will I even buy gas at a place that can't be bothered to check the freshness of their products. So glad I caught that before I actually ate anything!

For some reason gomart has the nastiest bathrooms around. Everyone I've ever been to are all just like this. You'll need an std test after using the restroom at a gomart location. The bad thing is, before gomart took over in coolville, the bathrooms were really clean. If you need diesel fuel go somewhere else. The price posted on the sign is 5 cents lower than the actual pump price, you wont get the discount unless you go inside and prepay, and ask them about it. All around these places are a joke.

Manager Laura is super sweet and very helpful. Alot of GoMarts out there and by far this is the best one bc of her and how she runs her team! They all our sweet. Laura needs a raise bc they couldn't afford to lose her!

It is conveniently located, and probably the best gasoline prices in and around here by far. Great if you're looking for a warm place to enjoy a good meal.
