We chose this park to view the solar eclipse. Nice camping areas. Lots of nature trails. Quite a few birds to watch. Plenty of picnic tables.Overall a very nice place to spend the day and watch an eclipseRestrooms: Several bathrooms scattered around the park.Picnic area: Nice tables available.

This is a nice state park, and they have clearly put some money into making it such. One thing that is really going for it is there are large signs for trail heads that are easily seen while driving on the main road, which is definitely not something you get at other Ohio state parks. There is a playground, a basketball court, lots of restrooms, and lots of campgrounds. There is a marina and a camp store that open/closed seasonally. They are also currently doing construction, so they are continuing to improve this already very nice recreational area. Great campground. We loved being right by the lake. I would have given 5 stars but it was cold and so I didn't get to fully see the whole park nor enjoy its amenities.Dog-friendliness: We were able to take our dogs which we loved. There were others but luckily no one near us.

A small, but very nice and clean park. It was better maintained, and less covered in litter compared to other state parks in western Ohio. The swimming beach was clean and not crowded, the marina was in good shape and well stocked, and the lake was beautiful. We didn't stay the night, but the campgrounds looked nice. Good place to swim, fish, or kayak.

I went here, first time in more than 20 years, on a rainy day and found it to be beautiful. I'm uploading for photographs from that day including a great blue heron in a beautiful butterfly. I recommend it for a day, have yet to camp here. It would probably be nice.Updated to add, I've been coming here this fall as well. I am really enjoying hiking here.

Will add photos later.Kaiser lake is our absolute favorite camping location. There's a beach within walking distance with a playground. There's plenty of space. The lake is a no motor lake, so it's very quiet and peaceful. We tent camp and bring our canoe and have the best time. Our two girls take time off from electronics to play and enjoy the outdoors, and it's wonderful. We even had our tent blow completely down in a storm, breaking it, having to sleep in our truck, and still had the absolute best time. 10/10 would recommend!

Stumbled across this place while out on the Harley. Not sure what kind of boats atw allowed. But what looked like the boat launch, not sure because it didn't have all any boat parking. Only one picnic table there. There is a shelter house there as well. I'd have like to explore more though.

We had such a relaxing time here, we can't wait to go back. Everyone was super nice and respected their neighbors with noise level. The lake is so peaceful and next time we'll take our sup boards out on it. The artisan water is great.

I've come here on horseback and now in my kayak! Went from one side to the other and took me about 2 hours to go to one side and back. The water felt great! It's so peaceful without the loud noises from watercraft.

Lived near the lake for years. They have started to maintain the trails better but really should consider new restrooms. Their pit toilets are disgusting

It was a beautiful afternoon and evening! The water was calm and very few people were there. The fishing was a little slow, but I did catch about an 8 lbs. catfish that put up a nice fight.I released it after taking a picture. Very relaxing time overall!

I grew up around this man maid lake, There is so much beauty with wildlife fishing and nature. Bald eagles has made this lake their home. Alot to take in and see.

A Small lake near Conover but al St Paris on the other side. Camping area bigger than I would have thought, and lots of kids and adults fishing. Then the Northern edge was horse trails and five miles away is the market and beach. Boat ramps on both ends!

Finding this place by mistake was one of the best things, locals are really friendly and show you the nicest spots to take pictures and fish. I was thrilled with the beauty of this lake considering that I never heard of it before. There are lots of things can do here like bringing your own fishing gear and get you a well-sized catfish. I noticed you also can rent a paddling boat to go around the lake but ill recommend to go with all the family because is fun and not going to be disappointed at all. I took a couple of pictures from this place and also will love to come sometime to get me some catfish. There was a local which mention it didn't take him long to get himself DINNER. And I was surprised it seems you can camp there as well. Very clean around the lake and definitely a place to go when you find yourself in Ohio

Small family campground that our family has enjoyed since I was little. Grass and lily pads cover a lot of the lake making it difficult to kayak, canoe or do paddle boards..Really wish they would put showers in the campgrounds

Beautiful place to stop, take some photos and drink our hot coffee while enjoying a brisk walk around the lake. Very clean park.Restrooms: There is a men/women outdoor restroom near the parking lot.

They need to clean the lake out, it's hard to fish cause of all the weeds growing in the lake. It's a very beautiful place though, to camp, hike, or just have a family picnic!! My wife has caught some big fish outta there!

I absolutely love Kiser lake. Its a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy fishing or camping. They have picnic area set up. Portable potty for restroom. Dog-friendliness for sure! No playground but there is a commission store you can buy bait an other stuff. It's quit a nice place.

Lots of laughs & relaxing. Trails were great, small store has forgotten items like bug repellant...with friendly service. And firewood. I have camped there since childhood, many great memories here. A note to campers...stop feeding the trash bandits (raccoons).

Nice quiet lake. No motors allowed, so the lake itself remains peaceful and pleasant. Caught fish every time we've gone, either on canoe or from the bank. Planning a campout sometime soon.
