I love The Dog Stop almost as much as my dog, Coda does! She loves the daycare…She LOVES Joe the groomer and she loves being there when she can’t be with us on vacations. The staff is super friendly and has continually eased her separation anxiety to make her feel comfortable and loved anytime that she is there. (Before and after grooming pics) ❤️

Amber was absolutely amazing! My poor boy went in a total mess with lots of impacted hair and itchy skin and he came out like a new dog! Super soft and shiny and not a tangle in sight! The experience and the pricing was absolutely amazing! We rebooked for March! (Left is before right is after)

The Dog Stop is the best, I love the facility and trust to leave my dogs in their care. The staff is great, and love the dogs as their own. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable making drop off and pick easy. Joe is amazing! The best groomer around and we have tried many. Joe takes the time to communicate with you to make sure you get the cut that you want and we have been happy every single time.

Our dog, Dandelion, LOVES Dog Stop in Franklinton (Columbus, Oh). The staff is wonderful with the dogs, provide enrichment, and take great care of them during daycare and boarding. The webcams are great to be able to check in on the fur babies during the day. Lots of romping, going inside and out during good weather, and watching the staff interacting with the dogs in positive ways. Thank you so much for providing a safe, fun, caring place for our girl. She has a great time and is nicely tired when she comes home. A good dog is a tired dog! Well Done Dog Stop!

I stopped in to look at the facilities. I recently got a new pup and wanted to see what my options were. I was greeted warmly, I was given a quick tour and a rundown of the process. My spouse remarked on how clean and organized it was. On the way out we were able to meet a couple of the groomers they have in house. My pups not old enough yet but we very impressed with what we saw.

Have been taking our dog here for a few weeks! She is exhausted afterwords! I love that they have cameras so we can check on her. They are also very accommodating with each dogs individual playing style. We’ve been looking for a daycare for a while and we’re very happy we found this one!

My little pup has never looked so cute as when I picked her up from her grooming appointment with Joe. He did an excellent job, especially for her shape and breed. And the reason for my 10 rating is that I can tell she was treated well. She runs on the anxious side and when I picked her up she was so happy and calm I knew she'd enjoyed the process. So glad I found a place for Prim to be cared for so close to home!

Joe always does an amazing job with Melbourne! She has some anxiety so we appreciate how calm and kind Joe’s demeanor is and makes her feel as comfortable as possible during her grooming visits. Melbourne always leaves smelling and looking like a million bucks. It’s taken us a bit to find someone who gives her the perfect doodle cut and Joe leaves her looking perfect!

My dog Bellow was a regular at Dogstop for daycare. I would take him every so often to play for a few hours. I brought him in today and was confronted by a woman at the front desk. She asked me the name of my dog and then said “oh I hope he’s not here for daycare.” Apparently they made the decision not to let Bellow back for daycare and pretended I knew about it. The woman straight up gaslighted me and said oh didn’t you know? Bellow has not been to daycare since October up until today. The reason for him not being able to attend daycare is because he’s an anxious dog and has a history of hopping the gates, getting into other areas of the daycare when he’s not supposed to. I was told this is unsafe and I completely understand that. That I agree with. The reason I am upset is because I was always told he was getting better about not hopping the gates and never once was I made aware that they were considering banning him. The communication needs to be better. I’m really disappointed in the way this was handled. Please do better.Update for the owner- you are rude and shouldn’t gaslight your customers.

I took my standard goldendoodle to the Dog Stop to be groomed by Joe. I was nervous about taking my dog to a new groomer as his previous groomer was a long time family groomer so a lot of trust and familiarity. However, moving to the area I needed to find someone local and was happy to find the Dog Stop. My dog looked and smelled amazing for over a week we were so impressed by how good he smelled!! His cut was perfect and exactly what I was wanting, and Joe did all that I asked. Well worth the money and now can feel relieved taking him in the future.

I was very hesitant to take our dog to a new daycare but hearing such good stories from a friend made it easy to bring her to The DogStop. Our dog is a rescue who had it rough, and needs some training but the staff didn't turn us away but welcomed us with open arms. I've worked in the business before & know the ins & outs of what a job like that entails.Our vacation was coming up & I knew ourdog needed to get familiar with the place before staying for a long period of time. We started it with short daycare visits & by the time she needed to board she practically ran into the building & jumped with joy at the staff. Knowing she is being taken care of made me have such ease on vacation. I would recommend taking your dog here! Also having grooming done at the same place is a huge plus.

Brought my mini schnauzer here for grooming and couldn't have been happier with the result! Amber (the groomer) clearly loves dogs and my little guy relaxed instantly when he met her. She did a fabulous job on his cut and I didn't have to wait all day long for him to be ready for pickup. All staff I interacted with (on the phone and in person) were so friendly. I've already rescheduled my next appointment!

This place is absolutely wonderful!!! I travel to Columbus once a month with my puppy and they take such great care of him. They took holiday photos last month for Valentines and this time will be St. Patty’s. They welcomed us this morning screaming Herman’s name. Makes me feel so at ease knowing he’s in such good hands. They also took the initiative to call my vet to get his updated shot records without interrupting my day to have me do it. It’s the little things - they have gone above and beyond!! Recommend 10 times over and over!!!

I took my dog here as well as one other daycare when I first moved here a month ago and I could tell this facility was the better of the two. The facility was so much more spacious for dogs to run, they don’t group too many dogs together in one play area, and they even have space for those dogs that don’t get along so well with others (dogs that most others places typically won’t even watch). Lisa, Shaylan and the rest of the staff really want to make sure your dog is having a good time and getting the care they need.

My dog, Milo, has been going to daycare here for 6+ months and he absolutely loves it! When Milo first started going to daycare he had the worst separation anxiety and couldn't leave my side - now he doesn't want to leave daycare! We live nearby and whenever we go on walks he wants to sprint towards The Dog Stop to see all of his friends (dogs and humans). I have noticed a huge improvement in his separation anxiety all due to how comfortable he is at The Dog Stop. 10/10 recommend!

Joe is the BEST!! My shih tzu ( Benny ) has never looked better! Every time Joe grooms him he comes out looking like a whole new, adorable pup. Before I found the dog stop I experienced some of the most HORRIBLE experiences from other places , so I'm so thankful to have found this amazing place and amazing groomer and have been coming here ever since. I have taken my dog to The Dog Stop since he was a puppy and they have always been amazing! I can tell that each person who works there cares about Gus because they know him by name. I've moved away from downtown but still bring him to this location because they are so great! Highly recommend Amber as well for grooming.

I love this place and so does my dog! The facility, the staff and the owner are all amazing. They love dogs and you can tell. The prices are great for both daycare and boarding, and they offer lots of great add-ons. Also cool to check out the live dogcams on their website to catch a glimpse of your pup in action. I absolutely love Amber F. At this location. She does a wonderful job grooming my Pomsky, Ruby. I love they they open at 5:45 am. When I take her to be groomed they allow her to go play in daycare for the day. She not only comes home clean but tired as well. All the staff is friendly and helpful.

Overnight stay includes camp, so this is a no brainer! The facility is spacious and clean. The doggie “rooms” are nice. My two knuckleheads were comfortable during their 3 night stay. I added exit baths, and my dogs came home smelling super fresh with shiny coats. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We boarded our dog for the first time while we were out of town. Everyone was so sweet and kind helping us know what to expect and helping him adjust to the new environment. His work is really exceptional and it’s really hard to find a good groomer in Columbus!! We absolutely love Lisa and her crew at The Dog Stop! We trust her with our pup and he gets excited to see his friends for daycare and boarding. We have tried multiple dog daycares in the Columbus area and this is by far the best! Dogs have large, clean places to play. Additionally, the dogs have access to outside and employees are constantly with the dogs. They genuinely care about your dog too! I highly recommend trying this location!

I trust the staff with Winnie, any time I drop her off she is so excited to be there. They recognize her when I bring her and seem excited to see her too which warms my heart! She also gets to play with friends especially her best bud Rosie.
