Not the best location. Not very clean at all, staff are lazy at best, if you can find it, they'll sell it to you, just don't ask for help. They'll act as though it's their first day on the job

I was there, couple days ago and spent like $160.00 in groceries and produce, the scallions were super slimy which means they sat too long. My 7 year old granddaughter is at Urgent care. I really hope it wasn't because of bad food. I will never shop at this store again.

This location is an absolute dumpster-fire. I used to be a regular customer (daily), and in my time shopping there, I have witnessed numerous people steal right in front of employees, who then said they don't care, while other employees falsely accused other customers. I've witnessed a cashier leave their position at the direction of their team lead to threaten another cashier with a write up while he was heading out to do carts like he was told. The store manager is the biggest joke there. I've had to listen to her berate multiple employees for things that are out of their control and talk down to them, believing she was not in earshot of customers. I used to genuinely care about the store. After a month of not shopping, I had the store manager, Brittany, ask why I stopped shopping there. I explained how one of her employees (Teresa) had the guard stop me at the door after claiming she watched me steal. He checked my receipts, saw no discrepancies and allowed me to leave. A different employee, Bre, at the direction of Teresa, then approached my vehicle with the same security guard and accused me of stealing. I pulled all the groceries out to show, and after a brief conversation, all she did was walk away embarrassed. I found out later that Teresa actually ran to an employee that was standing with me the whole time I was ringing out my items and asked "please tell me you saw her steal, I need something". Supposedly, while 3 different employees were standing around me, I was stealing? Teresa made the claim, but then went to the other side of the store to send an employee that was not in the vicinity of my checkout area after me. When I inquired about why she thinks I stole, Bre answered "Teresa thinks she saw you steal". When I asked why Teresa didn't just come to ask me for my reciepts, she told me that she didn't want to upset me, which is the most ridiculous thing for a team lead to tell an employee. A team lead attempting to frame someone is a terrifying situation. I can't imagine how many people have been falsely accused by this person, and now I worry everytime my citizen app alerts me of cops dealing with a shoplifter at that location. When I attempted to talk to the store manager about my concerns, she was belligerent and rude with me. She accused me of "tattling" and "telling her how to run her store". It made more sense with how she treated me as I watched her leave work with the exact employee that attempted to frame me. I should have reminded her that I'm not an employee, just a customer trying to help. I made an attempt to keep my issues with that location to just the store manager, because I never wanted Brittany to have any problems from anyone above her in the event she was able to fix the issues. I realize now, that she isn't a manager that actually cares about how her customers or employees are treated, she's just another broken cog in the damaged machine that is Eakin Road's Kroger. My phone number was given to Brian (the manager there that night) when the false accusation happened, and he called to apologize for how Bre treated me to retain me as a customer. As a way to prevent ever being accused of stealing, I started going to checkout lanes specifically as I check out, but the last time I went to the store, Bre happened to have the only checkout line open. As she finished with the customer in front of me, she then fully walked away from her position. Instead of an apology from the person who attempted to embarrass me in the parking lot at someone else's direction (which turned out to be a complete fabrication), I'm treated like I'm not welcome in that store. For the sake of the Kroger family and all the stakeholders, please make some attempt to rectify the unprofessional behaviors. Personally, I've focused my business on every other location of Kroger and will avoid that one permanently, but I would hope other customers will never have to experience the degrading treatment, and I truly do believe that there are employees at that location that deserve to be treated better.

The deli and bakery closed all day today. Barren shelves, stock completely depleted. Other customers complaining about store as they shop. If you need anything don’t depend on this store, chances are they won’t have it. Trash all over the floors and in coolers, merchandise strewn everywhere and food displays dumped on the floor. I spoke to Josh or Jake the “manager” and what a joke, he had excuse after excuse. Didn’t even offer a simple apology, basically stared at me like I was nuts and said the deli had grab and go. This manager is the absolute worst, my 15 year old can do a better job! I feel bad for the employees they deserve better and so do the customers. The icing on the cake was as I bagged up over $200 worth of groceries the manager looked at me, did not offer help and walked towards the back tossing his keys in the air the whole time as if no worries.

I shop Kroger all the time. Sometimes 2-3 times a week. There good with having products in stocks and they do have some real nice people that work there!

I used my card today to get gas and it was declined then I had to grab another card to actually get my gas. Come to find out the 40$ was taken off my original transaction. SMH the manager did not believe me, I had to call my bank to refund the money. Not to mention the male manager was EXTREMELY rude. You can't talk to people disrespectful and expect them to be nice. Saying "if you would hush and listen I've been doing this longer than you" SMH. Never again will I go there for gas.

There is a particular person who works in the deli, believe his name tag said “Sam” but as of today and previous days before I’ve notice he’s passive aggressive towards African Americans. I’ve heard him make inappropriate remarks about slavery and etc.

This store is consistently low on stock. The shopping carts are all over the parking lot and not in the store. People are standing around waiting for carts so that they can spend THEIR money in this store. Also, according to the manager, there are only 2 working electric carts for the entire store. Apparently they have all been stolen. This is unacceptable!

The downtown location is just 5 more minute drive and so much better. this kroger often is out of stock, damaged or out of date. Once even after mentioning it severtimes over 2 weeks. Milk was expired by a month when I saw it. Prices not on the shelf or haven't been changed for sales or new week There are often 2 different sale prices for app on phone. Making it confusing at best. As they gather information they can sell to brokers. 5th Third Bank left. Carts are always outside. Not only that they are in the back of the lot. Motorized carts are often low charge. Cart wheels have damage. Stock always being moved around the store(they call it a reset). When the store is at peak customers. They rely on their self checkouts.(I support labor) Meat? There is a butcher a 1000' op the street. Fresh cut that day and will be modified if needed by butcher. All for about the same price as Kroger. Employees are more worried about their social media accounts. I give it 2 stars as the store is often remodeled and mostly clean...

Avoid this store like it has the plague!Drunks from the bar next door begging for money outfront, Shelves stocked with expired/molding food, and incompetent staff a good chunk of which are hired via nepotism by knowing the store manager in some way or another. I went to load money onto my PayPal account friday an waited 30mins in the money services counter only for the staff member to not know how to load my money onto my account. She tries 3 times before calling the manager over an the manager tells me that Kroger doesn't do business with PayPal. She then proceeds to waddle away ignoring me when I asked her. If Kroger didn't do business with PayPal then why does the app allow me to generate a scannable bar code to begin with? I went to the Kroger in Grove City an loaded it there no issue. Turns out Kroger does do business with PayPal it's just that the first Kroger I went to is completely staffed by idiots who don't know how to work their own machines.

I started using this Kroger regularly because I relocated and I will tell you even though it's in a little rougher neighborhood, the place always has what I need and it's very accessible! I'm looking for a certain sauce down this aisle and I found this Frankenstein of a sauce on the top shelf... although that's definitely a new meaning for that phrase 'TOP SHELF'. Although I'm sure the Heinz company will never admit it but thank you for the movie "STEP BROTHERS" for giving this company this idea and now almost 10 years later we have the special sauce in a bottle! Will Ferrell would have a ball if he seen this on a store, something tells me he just doesn't do his own shopping anymore

Stopped in to purchase cleaning supplies! My Easy-Off oven cleaner was damaged. I was at the self-checkout lane. Nancy was manning the lanes. She took care of the damaged Easy-Off can So, I didn't have to take it up to Customer Service desk myself! I appreciated that very much! You ROCK Nancy!!

This particular location is always running out of products and can be a little messy at times... but other than that it's okay to shop at just not my first choice! I want to add that my 3 star review is for this location only not for Kroger brand I would give Kroger a 5 stars!

This store is a mess. No stock. No one working. Long lines. Choose another kroger or a different grocery store. I've been shopping at Kroger my entire life. I even briefly worked for Kroger. Never have I been in a store that is just horrible in every way until now.

Do not shop and expect to use Apple pay or Google pay. Yes they say they have it but no it does not work. It was lovely to find that out after an hour of shopping. Welcome to the year 2000. I will make sure to stop by the owl machine on the way next time

A dear friend of my works in the deli and let me tell you from what I see she runs circles around every body else that works there she deserves a big raise if you had that type of quality workers in your whole store krogers would have all of Columbus shopping there please. Friendly helpful employee's. This Kroger location is open until 1:00 a.m. and are very good about keeping the shelves stocked. However, this location only has the self checkout registers open after 10:00 and isn't the ideal place if you have a lot of grocery's to get.

Parking lot is full on panhandlers, and the security guard does nothing to deter them from approaching customers at all hours. Parking is terrible, unless you're handicapped there's plenty of places for you to park- unless someone is rude and parks there anyway and again, nothing is ever done by management.This is my local store but I often drive to Grove City or Hilliard to shop because I don't feel safe at this store, they're always out of things, the store is dirty and the employees are rude. However, on New Year's Eve I made a quick run prior to heading to a party. After leaving the store and driving an hour away and unpacking my items I realized I was missing a bag. I called and spoke with someone who apologized and assured me that once I was back in town to bring my receipt in and they'd replace the items. That's what I did, but got a much different story once I went in with my receipt. It turned into "we have to look at the cameras and verify before we can replace your items" despite me speaking to someone just days before who said it wouldn't be a problem. Now almost a week later and they still haven't given me the items I paid for but did not receive. I tried calling and was told "you don't need to call, when they've pulled the cameras and verified everything they'll call you." Well, needless to say this was the last straw for me and even if I only need a gallon of milk or hell toilet paper I'll gladly take my business elsewhere since they operate under the whole guilty until proven innocent theory of customer service management.

You don't go to this Kroger to buy groceries. You go to this Kroger to be enlightened on the human condition.The one employee I encountered was friendly and great, but this review is not about the employees. It is about the Eakin Kroger experience. It feels like you've stepped into an alternate plane of reality. The parking lot was filled with carts strategically placed to block as many parking spots as possible. In the store, I'm holding a bottle of blue lemonade in the liquor aisle and a couple stares at me with wide eyes and asks, "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?" I point them in the right direction and say, "It's non-alcoholic." They reply "WE KNOW WE'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THAT JUICE FOR HOURS" and dash down the aisle. I see them five minutes later with their arms full of juice bottles.A guy missing half his teeth asks me if I can scan my kroger plus card on his purchase. It his clearly not his first time asking this question, and I wonder why this man does not just get his own Kroger plus card. It is free. Most people wore masks, but the people who didn't were touching as many people and objects as possible, likely intentionally and out of spite. I was in this store for maybe fifteen minutes. I just wanted snacks and cheap alcohol. I cannot imagine what kinds of stories the employees have. I missed my chance during my extremely awkward counter with the nice worker in the fruit area. I wasn't prepared to have social interaction when grabbing my watermelon, so I definitely sounded like I was there to steal something. Sorry melon man. I hope you have a good day. Publish a funny book someday, I'm begging you.
