PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS!!!!🤬😡On August 5th at 11:00am I spent $107.54 & ask for a receipt & the rude cashier told me that she put it in one of the bags & needless to say when I got home there was no receipt to be found!! Also there were several items that needed to be returned, but I wanted to return them to the family dollar on Oakland Park close to where I live!!!! But I can't now since I don't have a receipt!!!!🤬😡 Thanks rude cashier!!!!🤬😡🤬😡

I came here one day good customer service And also the people who was working here they was very professional.. So let's say I decided to come back here and it just seemed like a total different store , Rap music X rated, Workers...2 months later I come back to the same store I hear loud rap music the people that was in there before is no longer there what happened a month later I come back because it's the closest thing before I go home good location but now the stores close

Edit: Since management has changed, it's become a more likable, enjoyable experience!! She's very polite, patient and helpful!!This specific location, is honestly a waste of space. A waste of time and energy. It's just about NEVER STOCKED, there are unpurchased items laying around the store, OPENED, its filthy, and most of the staff are very dull, rude even.

Horrible customer service representative store should be closed the clerk Haley has the worst attitude search Kanisha J family dollar experience on YouTube to see for yourself I do not appreciate the cops being called on me totally unacceptable I was not stealing or making threats I simply expressed my opinion WHICH I am allowed to do it my free right the clerk took it upon herself to respond to my comments being made out loud to myself and even then she should have still serviced me so I could leave she stopped scanning items and told me to leave then after getting the manager she demanded he not serve me then after her comment escalated into a argument the clerk walked out which is really unprofessional! That store needs to be closed or give them better training because a comment about not having the ability to have cash back should have never went that far I have made a complaint but doubt anything will be done

The only good thing about this store is the prices the staff are rude with a few exceptions. They are demanding of leaving any type of bag in the front (I'm sorry I'm not leaving anything with my personal information on it where I can't see what is happening with it) I may have been more compliant with a please as well not a snapped "You can't take your bag in." but with the rudeness I turned around walked out and got what I needed at CVS instead. I don't mind paying more for courteous service.

Never open when I go there. Always a sign on the door saying “will reopen after unloading truck or some other rubbish”It’s 6 pm on holiday when lots of people have to run to get something they forgot and the doors are locked with a note on them saying “will re-open after unloading truck.” I’ve been sitting here for just 10 min and have watched 33 ppl walk up and have to turn away because doors are locked. Losing some major business... maybe it’s time to start hiring temps if you can’t stay staffed.

This store has come a LONG way!! Very clean, well-stocked and everything is easy to find. Customer service is THE BEST!! Friendly, hardworking and knowledgeable staff. This is the nicest, cleanest Family Dollar I've ever been in, without a doubt.

I shop here almost every day and every time I walk in the door the same guy always says what's up and asks how I'm doing, which is cool. But then he follows me around the store, which is not so cool. I overheard him one day, saying something about people stealing, and I have never stolen anything nor given any of the employees reason to believe I would steal. It's borderline harassment. No matter where I am in the store he is no more than an aisle away. I understand the store is only so big, and theft is probably a big problem for the company considering the area this store is located in, but if the employees are going to blatantly follow me around and watch me shop, they might as well ask me to my face if I'm stealing. In which case I would never shop there again, but I'm afraid that may happen anyway. I don't appreciate being followed, but more so I don't understand the basis they judge me on to assume that about my character. While this location is convenient for me, I will take my money elsewhere if this keeps up.

The WORST FAMILY DOLLAR on the west side. It could be at open or during the evening. Employees Always on the phones. Side conversations. And not paying attention to customers. Not sure whether or not they have items in stock. Profanity, disrespectful and just UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES & MANAGEMENT. I can go in for one or 2 things and end up standing in line for 10-15 mins. IF YOU NEED TO BE ON YOUR PHONE TAKE IT OFF THE SALES FLOOR. AND PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Okay so went there.to shop this morning at west broad and yale. And it was 9am the doors were still locked. Store supposed to be open at 8am. Manager opens the door shortly after 9 said they been robbed a few days before and he has to have a second person there before he can open the store. Manager should have redone the schedule as necessary to cover gaps so nobody is there alone.

This store is in a tough neighborhood and they do there best that's my compliment. My complaint is that had a sale but 5 participating products and get 5.00 off ,nobody knew where to get the coupon. So I spent 20 not hard to do but didn't get my 5.00 off and I anticipated spending 25.I didn't get it so I put stuff back .Can you please clear up this problem. There are a few of us in the neighborhood who can afford to shop help us out.

They have recently remodeled the store and now it's full of new people who act and talk about whatever they want cussing and carrying on in front of children. They have a row of virtually empty freezers and coolers now. And the actual stock in the rest of the store seems to be on the decline as well

Need to have more help on registers and keep isles clear of boxes etc..as I am in a power chair and I find it difficult to get to what I need .....Update: new management, a lot better, a great improvement from where they were.....

Half the stock is never put out.last time I was up there stock everywhere and 2 of the guys working were outside smoking.You couldn't get thru the Isles almost as bad today.Last time when Ieft they were still out there smoking and I went off on them.Told them I was calling corporate. BUT I LOST THE NO.THAT STORE IS OFF THE HOOK.

I have not been in this store at 1159 west broad in Columbus ohio for about 5 years. Now I remember why. bad service. while I was standing in line with 5 other customers. the clerk at 4:50 pm on Saturday june 9 decide to have a fun discussion with a friend at the register. I finally left I will not be back of course I only had $2.00 worth of things. I will not be back. The clerks need to have their discussion with their friend when then are on break not while other customers are waiting to get on with their day. I will not return to any of your stores. I do not need this hassel

People is always running out the store with stuff, aisle ways blocked constantly from stocking shelfs. Which should be a good thing but when every other aisle is blocked and you need something out of the aisle employees get an attitude, most of the time the store is dirty and a line that always takes 15-20 minutes top get to the register evenif there is 1 or 2 people ahead of you. The plus side... Is close to home and they don't allow pan handlers in their parkinglot.

Aisles are always blocked and packages are always tampered with. No organization things are not in the area they say. Times I find things on sale in the clearance section don't know it til time of check out. This place could use a make over an more space needed

I came into the store, it was dirty and disorganized with clutter everywhere. The cashier was flirting with two young boys and not paying attention to customers. It took me nearly 20 minutes just to get a few items and the cashier was making snide remarks to me and my guest about a private conversation we were having in which was unrelated to her.

Awful!! Lazy, unprofessional behavior from everyone working here, accuse people of stealing and no wonder why people come back to this store and get even with the employee's! I've shopped here since they opened as well as my family, put a lot of cash in these people's hands and obviously if it wasn't for customers like me none of these punks would have a job!! After tonight I will never shop here again.. My husband works 60+ hours a week laying blacktop and you accuse his mother of stealing a chair ? When she doesn't even live around here and wasn't with him at the time and probably never shopped at this pos store in her life, but you kick him out bc you think he's related to a woman who stole something!?! Get it together

I want to start off by saying by I go to this Family dollar all the time. But today was DIFFERENT. I don't know what the current mangers problem was. Listen to this ok I was at the counter talking to the store Clark as she was checking me out. all I know is that this guy that was in the store (bummy looking) asked where a particular street was idk which one at this time I wasn't paying attention. sorry. when the manager comes from around the back counter after getting an item out of a locked cabinet that I was also buying. she walked by the entrance and asked the bummy looking guys hands was in his pocket. he started making up excuses. she asked him twice to remove his hands when he didn't she grabbed his hands. he went to run she tackled him. knock over all the grocery carts that haves about a 3 foot pole sticking off the top. that was beside the counter I was standing at. I moved back still the poles almost hit me. I turned to the Clark stating I don't think by LAW she can do that. finally the man got away dropping the 2 candy bars both $1 a piece. the store manager turns on me very quickly cursing me out saying I need to mind my own business telling me I need to go home in take my psyche mids. calling me bitches. what's if one of my colleges would of been in that store or if I brought my 8 month old son with me which I frequently do. she endangered everyone's life in that store over maybe $3 worth of stuff REALLY. and I know from personal experiences she CANT tackle a shoplifter not only personal experiences but also research what can we do about all this.
