Inside ordering which was nice for the rainy day we visited. The sundae sizes are a little confusing....small, large and specialty ones are a bit larger. We tried a Peanut butter sundae and Hot fudge sundae and they were both good.I prefer more topping, but it was ok. The ice cream is cold, thick and creamy. The whip cream was good and included. There is a large covered seating area. It is right by the RR tracks.Love the sign "Ice cream makes everything better". How true!

Ice cream is great, but don't order the food unless you've got excess time to waste. You also may need to call and make sure they haven't forgotten about you if they ask you to pull forward. Yes, they forget about people after they've collected their money.

Took forever to get food like almost 20 minutes. They made the ice cream first so by the time the food was ready the ice cream was melted. They forgot the sauce for the tenders and they were overcooked and couldn't even eat them so hard and dry. To far of a drive to return

Straight up pains me to write this bad review. As someone who lived in Columbus Grove most of my life and worked at the Dairy Whip as a teen for several years, whoever owns this restaurant now simply doesn't know how to cook. We got a bulldog burger and shredded chicken. Both were absolutely tasteless. Cardboard would have had more flavor. The shredded chicken was watered down and not seasoned. The original recipes were probably not passed down from the Mauks who originally opened the restaurant which is understandable but this tasted awful. My husband tried the bulldog burger and said the same thing. The burger patties had definitely been cooked all day and sitting in water to be that mushy and flavorless. The bulldog sauce isn't the same as it used to be either and just makes everything even grosser.. Its a shame when a local institution goes downhill. We won't be back unfortunately.

Good ice cream BUT The younger employee was terrible rude throwing stuff around and slamming freezer doors dropping food on the floor out of freezer and then picked it up and served it to a customer!!! Absolutely unnecessarily unprofessional!!!

Driving through town we found a little ice cream stand stopped in very friendly staff and very good ice cream. Next time we’re through the area we will definitely be back.

Stopped to order inside, there were only 2 other customers, but it took 20 minutes to order/get ice cream. I should have skipped the buckeye parfait and stuck with the hard dip ice cream that I've enjoyed before. They have a cute take home kit to make your own chipwich (ice cream cookie sandwich). The drive thru always seems to be packed, I've never tried the food, but must be popular for the locals.

Amazing staff we can in literally seconds before they closed and they didn't give us any issues or grief they took our order and made our food in haste and it was still amazing and delicious. Definitely a staple here for if your looking for fast good food in the Columbus Grove area.

Was disappointed in our recent visit. Waited over 20 min for 2 hot dogs and a chicken sandwich. Several cars came and went while we were waiting. I finally asked if I could at least get the hot dogs and forget the chicken. She asked if I wanted a refund for the sandwich. Was never told why or what went wrong regarding the wait. We have been here in the past and have enjoyed it, but this time was disappointing.

Several times we have gone here and every time so mething is missing, an order is messed up, the food isn't cooks properly. This place used to be my fav. Going to as a child, now it's just a disappointment. Save your money and go to grillers.

I caught them at a bad time I think because they were very busy and 1 of the 3 workers was new. Turtle Sundae had a taste almost like spoiled milk. I hate giving bad reviews especially when someone is new. That's why it's a 3 instead of a one. We all have to start somewhere.

Asked for a coney dog & it had no coney sauce not to mention the hotdog itself was kinda yucky looking. Chicken tenders & fried were fresh & hot but they gave me the wrong kind of fries. (Asked for curly fries) I've cream was awesome tho!

Love the selection of food. Food is delicious. Wish the ham and cheese sandwich was like a grilled ham and cheese sandwich but it was still yummy. Cyclones yummy. I will be back for more while they are open for the season.

Waited 30 minutes for some chicken tenders and fries to have the girl come out tell us that the fryer was broke (I understand fine reorder some burgers) only to have everyone that came in that 30 minutes get served first our order went to the end of the line everyone has left still no food. Going on 1 hr.

This was the absolute worst service I have ever had! Waited 20 minutes for 2 walking tacos and a shredded chicken sandwich, still didn’t have my order had to go up and ask for it they brought me the food in a bag so I walk out and don’t have utensils or napkins and to top it all off... my order was made wrong!

Was not impressed took almost a hour for my order that they said would be done in 20 mintues .. After we got the food waited another 15 for our milk shakes an slush.. An the cartoon was so flimsy that it didnt hold an we lost 3 of our milk shakes.. So Im not impressed..

Asked for chef salad no cheese . Got salad with cheese and no fork . Ham salty . Onion in it no tomatoes . Wouldn't order again. Husband got meatloaf dinner very good .
