What an amazing place! I am so glad I found them to care for our pups while we are away. I called in an annoying amount of times to check on them and everytime they were happy to give us an update. I highly recommend the picture package as it gives you piece of mind when you see their big smiles running around.Our dog, Holly, is extremely nervous of everything and they treated her with so much patience. I saw through the fence she shut down and would not move when we first dropped her off. A gentleman calmly picked her up and carried her instead of trying to pull her which I appreciated. The first night they said she was pretty nervous and someone actually went in her room and sat with her to calm her nerves. It costs a lot more than traditional vet boarding but it is 100% justified and worth it. They are out interacting with the dogs all day long. We absolutely love this place and recommend it to everyone.UPDATE April 2022:We had our other dog here recently. He is diabetic and gets insulin injections twice per day. We used to board him at our vet because of this but they stopped offering those services. We opted to try little river out for one evening to see how he did. I 100% trust little river to care for our insulin dependent dog. They did a phenomenal job. We are forever customers of yours!

I am sorry I did not have a good experience with this kennel. I am sure my pet was well taken care of, but I was not. I dropped my pet off and was asked to sign a contract, which I was not given a copy of. I explained that I was flying home, and it would be cutting it close to pick up on Sunday. I was advised that they would list pick up the following day. Unfortunately, they did not tell me that if I was able to pick up on Sunday, they would charge me the additional day, which is exactly what they did. I paid an additional day’s fee for absolutely nothing. I contacted the owner who compared the kennel to The Hilton, that also charges service fees. Really? Enjoy my money. You did not earn it.

They are very hands-on, lots of play time, and they take care to partner up compatible dogs. My dog is very nervous, so they partner him up with big, calm Labs or similar. He always comes home worn out from all the play.

OMG I worried because my 120 lb Cane Corso mix rescue had fear aggression and insecurities around other people and dogs. She loves this place and they matched her personality so she is able to socialize with other dogs. They are very understanding and tolerant of phone checks. When I pick her up it's like "Oh... It's you ... Hi Mom, is it time to go home, already?"

Professional and well run. I don't feel comfortable leaving my dogs many places, but they are great with them! My dogs like different levels of activity, and they are accommodated well here. You can call to check on your furry friends if you want. There are any add ons to make your dogs stay extra special.

Without a doubt, the most wonderful place for a dog to be a dog.Happy to know our dog has been going there for over 2 yrs. Place to Run, Roam & engage in enrichment activities but always being cared for properly.Vince & Gina and staff run an amazing place5 🌟

Check in was easy. Pick up was easy. One dog has kennel cough now with suspected bronchopneumonia and a couple small bite wounds from play time I assume. I’ll be leaving the ole emergency vet at 3am with a nice bill due to the concern I had for her obstructive sounding breathing while asleep..

It was our first time leaving our rescue pup and we were nervous about how she'd handle it. After a week away, we went to pick up Indy and she was more excited to see the gentleman at the front desk than she was to see her family lol I think it's safe to say Indy had a great time!

My dogs love Little River and I always travel with a piece of mind that they will be happy and well cared for. The yards are huge so they can run and play just like at home. They don’t sit in small, cold, lonely little rooms for hours on end because they are outside playing. The staff genuinely loves the dogs.

I left my dog with Little River Pet Resort for 9 days. When I picked him up, he had a gash on his nose and the receptionist said it was because he was drinking water out of a metal bowl. My dog has had a metal bowl for many years and he has never had a gash on his nose.

My English Bulldog has a wonderful time there! They take the absolute best care of him. I trust them completely, and they are always the most kind, personable, wonderful people! The owners are genuine and always communicate so well. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Our Bernese Nick had his first experience at Little River Pet resort for a week while we were on vacation. What a great experience! It was very easy to book, a clean facility, and the staff was so helpful and sweet to our pup. We love that he got a lot of outdoor play time, with his dog friends! The staff is on top of every detail and you can tell that they truly care for each dog. We were in such a hurry dropping him off that we didn’t realize all of the add ons services available! We will keep that in mind for the next booking! He came home clean, happy and worn out! We could tell he had a great time!

The owners make sure the animals are well cared for and keep track of each animal's special wants and needs. My dog gets excited as soon as we get near because she knows she is going to be pampered! She is not fond of overly playful dog friends and, the owners know that from the notes they keep. So, she is put in the play yard with older, more gentle dogs. They take her on long walks which she LOVES. We will keep coming back to Little River!

I bring my pup, Sam, here all of the time for daycare. She absolutely loves it! The staff is wonderful and take great care of her. They are part of her extended family! Plenty of play space and equipment and always clean and tidy. They also offer plenty of services at affordable prices. I couldn't imagine leaving my furbaby in the care of anyplace else!

Absolute best place to give your dog outdoor experience. She spends the majority of every day out in large fenced yards (yes yards) with several play pals. Never crowded because of all the space and number of areas. Everyone there is great. Clear, helpful, responsive. Loved this place since the day it opened.

Just took my two dogs on a little puppy vacation here while we got our floors done. They lived it, came home clean and fresh, also a little worn out. Lots of fun activities for your dogs. They usually hate doggy daycare, but they did great here.

Hands down the BEST daycare/boarding facility. 13 huge grassy play yards.... yeah that’s right HUGE,GRASSY, play YARDS!! The staff is caring and loves every dog as if it were their own. They have socialized play groups based on size, age and behavior. Play groups are NEVER over crowded and they even take not social dogs, the only difference you might ask, is they get a whole yard to themselves. There are plenty of toys, tunnels, agility platforms, and even pools in the summer. TONS of fun 🐶🐾💙 Voted best in CLE !!
