Columbia Fence did great work replacing my old rotted fence. Everything turned out how it was supposed to including my extra wide gate so the lawn mower fits through.

Columbia Fence has always done great work for us. They put up two split rail pasture fences for our homestead years ago and they are still going strong. My only complaint is that the posts were not cut super straight on many of them. Fast forward a few years, and we had a tree come down on top of our fence. Within a few days, they had a crew out to fix it, and did a great job. With last night's storm, yet another tree fell and took out part of our fence again. I emailed late last night, and today, they were already out fixing my fence. I couldn't believe how fast they were able to fix everything. Brian and Emily are wonderful and so easy to work with. Their crew is very efficient. Highly recommend.

Absolutely unprofessional, utterly disrespectful, not worth your time or energy… this company never answers their phone and never gets back to previous or new customers. They are going downhill fast. Their company answering machine is full, they don’t answer emails. I’ve been beyond patient with them, knowing everyone is short staffed, and people get sick and need to be off , that’s just fine but when you cannot return a phone call for weeks on end.. that’s a huge problem for such a large business that has no problem taking your money.We had wind damage to both doors, during the last storm and just wanted to pay to get them replaced and maybe set up a date for spring or asap to do so… whenever they could fit us in.Trust me go elsewhere for all your fencing needs! Based on other reviews, we choose Brian and his team at Columbia Fence to replace our board on board fence around our back yard. I did not expect to get this done in the winter, but due to the mild weather we've had, these guys were able to knock it out on time, under budget, and ahead of schedule. The office was always quick to return phone calls and they coordinated with the City so I didn't have to do a thing other than write the check. I called several other contractors that I was referred to and none of them called me back. Brian, their owner, also had a nice recommendation for a metal fence over our retaining wall and the same for the main gate, which really came out nice. Very pleased with Columbia Fence and happy to know customer service is still relevant!

Columbia Fence did an excellent job, the crew was professional and the work happened exactly as scheduled. We would definitely recommend them. I STRONGLY would go against using this company. I called in august of 2022 and they said 8-12 weeks. Right around the 10 week mark I called them and emailed them to see timeline. No response. So I tired two weeks later and finally got a hold of them. They said it would be done in 2 weeks. Well here I am in January of 2023 with no fence. I tried calling them this week and the voicemail was full. Also emailed them and have had zero response. Starting to think they have stolen my large deposit. Please use somebody else. The fence was installed fine. However, we needed a repair due to wind damage. They were not responsive or courteous. It took several weeks to reach them and their office staff was rude.. They made the repair with scrap that was scratched and had extra holes that they plugged with screws. The owner was rude but after much back and forth he did agree to send a crew back out once they had "scrap" that was not as damaged. The screws they used rusted and rust marks are running down our fence. The owner blamed the company they order from. His solution was to cover the rust with paint. This company displayed terrible customer satisfaction. Had an estimate for a chain link fence on 8/3/22 with a personal written commitment from the owner, Brian, to complete before Oct. 1. There was no communication to me. I called multiple times with no return call from Brian. The person answering the phone said on 2 different occasions Brian would call in the afternoon. No calls. I never got a call to explain why none one showed up. Pretty bad the owner didn't have the decency or professionalism to call me. Based on my personal experience I would not recommend this company to anyone. This was the worst experience I ever had with a company.

Called to have someone come out and quote fence install. Pretty responsive and guy who came out was great to work with. Then everything started to fall apart. Took almost a month to get the drawing I needed to submit to HOA for approval after being told multiple times "You will have it by end of day or tomorrow". Took about 5 calls over a month to finally get it.They said they will submit to city for building permit. Been over a month and half with no updates. Tried emailing with no replies, called office multiple times with no answer and left multiple voicemails with no call back. Their customer service is pretty bad. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

First off.. I want to start by saying some of the reviews on here are not at all what I experienced. It is obvious that most of the bad reviews are by people who did not get to experience Brian and his crew. Most of the reviews are about him not showing up for an estimate on time.For starters.. I would tell you that it is worth the wait. They installed over 300ft of fence, including around my garbage cans, and they did A+ quality work. The entire crew was extremely courteous and professional, and very attentive to what I wanted in a fence. I got to pick how every gate opened, and I got exactly what I wanted and more.If you are looking to get a fence, look no further. They beat every estimate and did top quality work. I cannot ask for anymore than that.

This company is a scam. They stood me up 2 weeks in a row. For a 1500ft of vinyl fencing around 4 acres lot.... they r unprofessional, , they.make their own employees rate the company with 5stars to scam people. Do not recommend!!! Made an appointment for an estimate. They said they would be out between 11 and 1(which by the way was the only company of the four we got estimates from that said they could not give a definite time). At 1:20 I called their office and they said they’d check where the person was and get back to me. At 1:45 I called office again and cancelled. I’d say being 45 minutes late when they give you a three hour window is pretty unprofessional! What would have happened had I not called??? They didn’t call to let me know the person was running late or anything! Very disappointed!

The install was good but they smashed brand new downspout said they would fix it never did.Now 2 yrs later a tree limb broke a chunk out of my top rail and just want another rail called once said they’ll call me back week later I call again said I talk to someone else so they would call me back and guess what still no call back..You spend thousands of dollars with the company and they can’t even have the respect to call u back wow will not recommend to anyoneService: Vinyl fence installation

I had my fence installed in late fall 2016. I was happy with the fence up to the point where I needed them to come out and adjust the fence latch because it was not working properly which was making the gate not close properly. My wife called and talked to the receptionist who told her that Brian would call her back shortly. Well after a few days my wife called again and was told the same thing by the same lady. I had to fix the fence myself (happy wife happy life). The thing that really gets me is we spent over $9,000 and not even 3 months later we cannot even get a return call for something so simple??So 2 months ago my wife and I decided that we wanted to get the opening of the gate wider so we could get a riding mower threw it. This time I called and talked to the same lady my wife talked to months before. I let her know I was time stamping our call and who I talked to because I was expecting a call back that same day from the owner. Could you imagine after I told the receptionist this she actually had the owner Brian call me back. Brian told me they are swamped with work and it would be a few weeks but I was on his list and he would contact me. I have waited a month and sent 3 people to get a fence from Columbia Fence. After a month of hearing nothing I called back and talked to the same lady. I told her my neighbor 3 houses down was getting there fence installed (a referral from me) and I would like them to install the wider gate at this time sense they are literally 3 houses down. A few days pass and the receptionist lady calls me back to let me know that the owner is so busy he cannot call me back and that a small job like mine was not really anything on there list of things to do. I explained the situation to the receptionist who basically told me she doesn't care. Well today I called after another few weeks but this time I was calling to let them know that I was happy that they were busy but the way they treat customers is going to back fire on them BIG time when new customers start reading the reviews. The same receptionist lady was rude and blew me off.If you want a fence put up where after they get your money you are basically dead to them and you get the privilege of talking to a rude receptionist then I would suggest Columbia Fence. But if you don't fell like getting jerked around look at other fence companies that are so busy and actually have time of day for you.

Had a fence placed by this company 2 years ago, wanted to have the other half of our yard done (chain link is currently there). Had an estimate scheduled, during that time our street was having construction and the gentleman would have to walk a few houses down from where the street was already newly paved. Received a voice mail stating he would not walk to our house and that was that. Called the company and spoke to a lady at the front desk, stating some one would be in contact with me. Almost 5 days later no call. I called again and spoke the same lady and said the guy does not want to come out to our house to estimate us. And the owner is to busy to call us. And not sure if anyone would come out. I then said you guys clearly don't want our business and I'll take it else where... she said okay sorry. And at that time I hung up. I can't believe that one company is willing to allow a returning customer to go else where. Truly disappointed in this company

I would not recommend them. They quoted a week to finish job. It took them 3 weeks and they only worked a total of 2 days. The office people have no clue to help you and kept saying the crew called off sick and can't come today. This went on for 3 weeks. Didn't enjoy being lied to multiple times.

Very unprofessional! Scheduled an appointment and the owner no called/no showed!! How does an owner of an alleged reputable business no call/no show an appointment!?! When contacted about the missed appointment. The receptionist was rude and very unapologetic and brushed it off as "he is busy with a big job"! Folks pay attention to the ratings, they don't lie! Don't do business with this company.

I give zero stars. I had a scheduled appointment with them...and they did not show up but asked to reschedule. I made another appointment..they were a no show with no phone call until the next day. I made a third schedule..they were a no show and called me stating they attempted to call me a couple of time with no message( i only have cell phone service). I explained to them my cell phone showed no one attempting to call nor a phone message left. They said they would like to reschedule...i said they we are done with Columbia. BEWARE..THIS COMPANY DOESNT CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS.

I chose to use Columbia fence based on the reviews I read but I did not have a good experience with them at all. I contacted them back on April 14th and they set up an appointment for May 1st to come out and give me an estimate. Brian came out, gave me my estimate and told me I would be contacted in 2 weeks. I was not contacted and called them in late June, they explained they were busy, I told them that I understood I just wanted to make sure I was not lost in the shuffle. I was told they would be contacting me, which they never did, I ended up calling them again in August. When they called back I was asked my address and told I would get a call back. We played phone tag a couple of times, Karen left a message with a date and time, I was unable to do that paticular day due to work conflicts and was then told I would get a call back with another day. During all of these phone conversations Karen made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her. Still no call back. Needless to say I have gone with R&M Fence who have came out and given me an estimate and set up a day to fix my fence all within a week.

Brian and his crew just finished our fence. This company is family owned and they really care about their customers. Everyone is a pleasure to deal with. We had a very large backyard fence installed for our three dogs. Brian was on time for the fist appointment thru the finish of the job. He had a large crew and finished this substantial job in two days. I would recommend this company for your fencing needs. Great prices too.

Customer Service was decent in the beginning and was very understanding during the covid events and wood supply issues, after fence was installed, noticed there were multiple areas missing screws. Reached out to company few times, to have issues fixed. Haven’t heard back from them from November.Now worried about fence quality.I am having to inquire someone else to finish putting screws in.Came with many positive recommendations from others , just didn’t seem to be the overall experience I had. Enjoying my fence, just wish it was completely finished.UPDATE :: 4/5/21 ::They showed up at my house to fix the issues, a gentleman named Austin, was very kind and apologized and looked over the entire fence for any other issues. Thankful they did the right thing, and maybe now I won’t be so bitter when recommending them to others.
