My cat had a condition that I tried everything to take care of. He was at another vet before I tried family vet service. They took the time and ran tests. The test turned out good. So they decided to try some different things on him. Nothing drastic, but changed the way he was eating and gave him supplements. So far he is improving. Thank you Dr. Sarah

My parents took my kitten ( a stray we found) to this vet because our normal Vet was out of the office for a few days. Over $90 and Vet charges and instead of my kitten getting better she got worse! My vet reviewed all the paperwork and medication from her vet visit with Family vet clinic and was not happy. The medication she was given to take was making her sick had ruined her gut biome and she was losing weight rapidly and almost lost her eye due to the severity of her infection which is why we originally took her to the family vet clinic. Thank goodness we followed up with our own vet. Once he gave her an antibiotic shot and changed her medication she’s on her way to getting better. But almost died first. So now my parents have paid twice as much as they should have if she would’ve just been treated correctly the first time. We will not be returning.

Dr Anders and his staff are wonderful! I drive 1.5 hrs each way for my dog with cancer- he answers your questions and isn't in a rush to get you in and out like most vets are. The facilities are top notch. I was welcomed with a tour, photo holiday card with my dog's pic that was even loaded on their website before I left! Most impressed with his willingness to review my dogs' case and talk to me by phone before I had my first appointment.

Dr. Anders saved our dog's life. He's also just an amazing person - kind, respectful, and empathetic towards both people and animals. He's broadly trained and highly accomplished, but still takes the time to explain what he's doing and why. Most importantly, both he and the staff there obviously care very much about their patients' wellbeing and comfort. The facilities are nice, the people are friendly, and the costs are very reasonable. My only wish is that we lived closer so that he could be our regular vet. Absolutely recommended.Our dog woke up mysteriously paralyzed from the mid-back down one day a couple of weeks ago. We rushed him to a nearby emergency vet, and within a few hours he had been diagnosed with a (likely) herniated disc and we were given two options: a) very expensive surgery that we couldn't afford and which they were giving a 50% chance of success or b) ending his life humanely and quickly. So we brought our dog to County Animal Clinic for euthanasia, since it was closer to where we wanted to bury him. Dr. Anders took one look at him, said he thought there was something else going on, and was then able to get a nervous response out of his back feet almost immediately, which the other vet had said was not happening. So over the course of a few visits spaced out over the following week and a half (including appointments on the mornings of both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve), he treated our dog using chiropractics, electro-acupuncture, prolotherapy, and Chinese herbal medicine. Our dog is now supporting his weight on his back feet, partially controlling his bowel and urinary movements, and wagging his tail; after just the *first* treatment, he was acting like himself again apart from his new disability, whereas before the treatment he'd been despondent and in near-constant pain. I have a lot of hope that he'll be walking again after a few more weeks or months of home rehab, honestly. It's an incredible result, and the cost was both very affordable and proportionate to the amount of time spent and the expertise employed in our dog's treatment (and a fraction of what surgery would have been).

Dr. Anders and his staff have been helping our lab Oliver Blue with his fear and anxiety for a couple weeks and the change has been amazing. We are all dealing with finding the cause of the problem and not just medicating and hoping for a different result. Highly recommend this clinic. Very happy to find a place willing to work with you.

We love Doc & his staff. They helped our little Lilo go from almost 17lbs down to almost 5lbs in a year. She is such a different dog. We also feel secure when we have to leave our fur babies, knowing that they are getting the best care and love.

Dr Anders was so nice but better yet so knowledgeable! He figured out in one day what was one with my dog while other vets was treating him for heart problems the past year. Maybe if I was smart n would have take my J. J. to him sooner he might have been able to save him. Dr Anders doesn’t just do traditional medicine he is also into eastern medicine n has X-ray n ultra sound right there in his office. I tried other vets when my furbaby got so sick n some actually scared me as many mistakes as they made in just one day. I told my best friend n my family if you love your pet please take them to Dr Anders! If acupuncture, chiropractic, or herbs will fix your baby I’m sure he can do it. If I ever get another furbaby you can beat your money he will be their doctor!!!

Dr. Anders and his well trained staff truly care for the patients treated. After taking my dog to four vets (including OSU oncology for 8 hrs.) and a Roundtable discussion of three more vets he was consistently misdiagnosed for his symptoms or lack of symptoms. Unfortunately, Sunshine died within hours of seeing Dr. Anders; it was too late. My comforting dog since 2006 was gone. Why didn’t the other vets listen to the sounds of his heart and body? The preliminary autopsy report (Dr. Anders recommended) revealed the truth-the same as Dr. Evans at OSU—no cancer anywhere. I Immediately took four more pets to him this week before the final autopsy information is returned, afraid in case they were infected or exposed to something unknown.and deadly too. Sunshine’s problem was not contagious.
