Not bad selection. Decent prices. Picked up a few clearance items and some grocery stuff. About $100 trip. The self checkout went berserk and we had to start all over after being almost done with 6 bags and about 40 items. At least that's what it seemed like. Staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be.

It's self check out which is fine until you have someone standing over your shoulder watching you do their job which you have no training for. If they are so afraid of you stealing something then they need to put the cashier's back to work.

They always have good sales in the electronics department. Friendly staff the store was clean specially the restrooms ☺. I was so glad. Hate when I have to go in with a 5 yr old and see a messy dirty bathroom.. cute baby shoes I found for my baby

First they wouldn’t match their online price, the cashier and front end supervisor were unhelpful. Secondly the online pickup procedures were inconvenient. Third, customer service was not helpful either.

My wife and I stopped in for Thanksgiving supplies. We had 2 full carts and there were no registers open. Of course the ubiquitous self-service registers were open. A wonderful lady named Sue came to our aid and helped us checkout. She is the best. She went above and beyond to help.We are very grateful.We spent $556 and checked out around 9 pm on the 19th of November 2023.

They do a really good job at this location considering their customer base. It's hard to understand what a store in a tourist town goes through, unless you've also worked with the company and can see both sides. They do have people that care in this store, but you for sure what to price check whatever you're looking at because they're quick to take the price change without changing the tags which is very frustrating at times but you also need to take into consideration that they go from 6 months of high volume busy season with seasonal employees to almost ghost town with a skeleton crew because of the time of year but just because tourist and seasonal help leaves doesn't mean their workload slows down at Walmart. So be mindful and patient when shopping here, they're all working hard!

Always have a good selection of things, love clearance. Worked here multiple times, the employees are sweet and hardworking people but unfortunately overworked and exhausted, especially on nights. Big corporate doesn’t care, however they give lots of benefits.

Walmart is convenience in a small town like mine. They've really limited their hours which is a shame. What I dislike is the inability to find assistance with products, their retrieval, & prices not ringing up the same as labels. I really miss cashiers because I dislike doing self checkout & have heard horror stories of accusations of theft if you checkout "wrong". It seems like I always have an issue like most of the other patrons that needs assistance from the employee that oversees the area. Cashiers made it easier & better.

Went to get 4 tires put on my kids car. Everything started off as expected. Picked out 4 tires and left the vehicle with them. 20min later I get a call and they advised they only had 3 of tires I picked. The only other tires they actually had in stock were to top price tires. After a few grunts and frustration. I said ok.Service was fast and the app actually worked well. I went to pick up the vehicle and noticed the $15 per tire “lifetime tire rotation and balance” was added. When I told the lady I didn’t want that she said…. “Legally I have to add that”. I was baffled. She said “we have to balance all tires before they leave”. And I get that, that’s in the price. But not the lifetime “insurance”. She did not budge on this. I asked her if the tech “re-learned” the TPMS. She stated when they do a set of 4 tires they just remove and replace in the location they take it off from. And I totally get that. Makes sense. But I noticed they charged me for the service they didn’t have to do. The lady told me… “if they didn’t do it, then just drive the car for 20min over 20mph”. This is completely false info. So now I’m just blown away. I paid the bill and took my receipt to the front.When I spoke with the “coach” she was blown away with the whole situation. She called someone and was furious that they would just add charges to my bill and charged me for services I didn’t receive.The end result was she refunded me for the “insurance” and the TPMS service.Side note…. I called 2 other Walmarts in my area that do tires and none of them had heard of their legally obligated tire insurance policy. And both departments were as blown away as I was about the lying and service I received.

Cleaner than most and the customers are less "entertaining" in the off season. Didn't have what we wanted. Love the fact that they actually have self check outs almost the entire length of the front end. I do like this location.

Not Bad the quality of the Deli and Macsalad etc goes up and down every week also there's never hot food at this location. I still like walmart for the regular household items!

Is this place for real? There's so many empty spots on the shelves throughout the grocery section. Very disappointing when looking for something particular that you know they should have, and find nothing but an empty void in its place. And then Biden said there's no problem. 😖 It's probably Putin's fault. 😆Update: 4-14-23 The shelves throughout the grocery section were well stocked for a change. Much nicer shopping experience. 🙂

Before I head to Put-In-Bay, I would usually stop off at Kroger‘s to do my shopping, that was before I met Sandy at the Walmart in Port Clinton. This summer I had the delightful experience of interacting with Sandy, one of their exceptional cashier and have been a regular at the Walmart since then. Sandy’s dedication to her work is truly commendable, as every time I visit this location, she is always there, ready to assist customers with a smile.What truly sets Sandy apart is her ability to make me feel valued. Every time she sees me, she warmly greets me by name, creating a personalized and welcoming atmosphere. They dont have a good selection of food. I Was particularly looking for starkist chicken creations packets and value packs of vienna sausage tins. Neither appear to exist here.They dont have a fast food vendor here, also pretty disappointing to me.I will give them points for having one of the cleanest walmarts ive been to in a good while. Not terrible, but nothing worth special attention either.

Good customer service and oh how thingshave changed 3 years later Sad really...I've been treated poorly when asking for help and have witnessed it being done to others...the self checkout is a joke if you have more than a few items. Most the time I go in there there isn't a cashier to check you out. If you have chronic health issues like I do or if you are older it's very hard to ring yourself out and then let there be a price wrong ...you never know what you are going to get...somebody telling you you are wrong ..when you say you saw a big sign saying rollback...sometimes they go look sometimes they don't......

Went to get a ps5 controller that's supposed to be on sale for 49$ at all walmarts and best buy locations I showed the lady it said 49 on Walmart website she said nothing she could do it would be 75 and was very rude if I wanted it I would have to buy it online and drive 50 miles back out to that location tomorrow so I said forget it and put the 250$ worth of merchandise back we will take our business else where

Awesome fremont stinks will never go back there very rude and inconsiderate won't go to the one in Catawba or Port Clinton whichever area that is because they only have self checkouts and only two people were standing around so we're not going to wear their self checkouts I don't get paid to do my own check out

I buy non-perishable items from Walmart online and then pick-up at the store. The team members are always great - personable and friendly. Orders are always ready on time and rarely is something not available.

For whatever reasons this Walmart is a lot nicer, cleaner with staff that are very pleasant to speak with. I would rather drive the extra 15 minutes north from Fremont's Walmart to shop here. They seem to have a much better selection of items and everything is always in stock. Huge plus from the local Mart.

Went in to get a tire change, walked around Walmart for a little then they called demanding we come back into the shop so we could open the trunk for them which they could have easily done, I dropped my wallet and phone when I was digging into the trunk, bob wouldint let me back in to grab it. I was stuck here for an hour with nothing. And they couldint even contact me to tell me the tire was done. While also sitting there acting like he couldint understand me the entire time.

🚫 DO NOT🚫 buy a cell phone here. I understand the "phone employees" aren't actual Walmart associates but they do still represent the store they work at. My 14-year-old desperately wanted an iPhone and we are on Boost plan. 1st, the lady explicitly lied to my daughter about the price of an iPhone for Boost. My daughter was crystal clear with her question: "How much is your iPhone for Boost? A current Boost plan".....but the lady gave her the price of the iPhone for customers who start a NEW PLAN with T-MOBILE ($150 cheaper). So, we go back to buy it. This is when we learn the true price. As she's explaining it to us, she abruptly stops, looks at me---mind you, I'm listening and nodding with an understanding expression --- and she yells "Excuse me! Did I say something wrong to make you have such a problem with me?". I was stunned😳and speechless 😶 and so confused 🤔. I apologized to my daughter and we just left the store. (We drove straight to another store and got the phone MUUUUCCCHHH CHEAPER....not to mention we were treated with respect, given honesty, and treated like human beings
