Stopped at another ice cream place, that was supposed to be open until 8PM but it wasn't open at almost 6.Looked up another ice cream place near our location, and The Ice Shanty wS it. Overall a great experience!The staff was friendly and made the best frozen treats for us to enjoy! Will definitely be back!

Great little ice cream shop. Very good chili hot dogs and exceptional fries! Limited food menu but to grab and go is good. Indoor seating consists of bar type communal arraignment. The ice cream is delicious! Large servings and tasty!

Fantastic treat on a hot day!! Excellent service in an extremely clean facility where you feel comfortable and at home enjoying your cold treat on a warm day. The staff is friendly and greets you with a beautiful smile and is pleasant to chat with. We loved this ice cream shop and expect to pop in more often. Thank you to the staff for making us feel so welcome in your shop, we loved our yummy treats! 😉

I got a plain small cone. The ice cream flavor was a chocolate toffee mix. It was heavenly 🤩💞. I've wanted to stop here for a while, now I know I will return ASAP

No gift certificates. Needing a $100 complimentary gift certificate today as a kind gesture for some guests…..while trying to support a very new, very local Port Clinton Business. I even asked if I could pay and receive a simple 1 x use paid in advance today type card. Answer, no, but thank you for thinking of us. We’ll still try and support by handing out cash to our Guests for Ice Cream…..but there’s growth to be made here. PS I still posted as five stars because I do not want this to be a detriment to their business, almost just a piece of advice. This is a swing and a miss for them.

Ice cream was ok. Whomever owns this place needs to work on customer service skills with their employees. One girl gave a customer a death stare. Unsure if the reason but it was certainly uncalled for.
