Best Grocery / Liquor store / Deli in North Central Ohio. Best selection of Meats, Seafood (including Live Lobster), Beer, Wine and Hard Liquors for a one hundred mile radius. Awesome Daily Soup and Salad Bar.

I go to Bassets for Seth.I mean, their groceries are the best around and you can find local and National favorites - but the WINE!!!!!!Serious kudos to Bassets for maintaining his skill set and knowledge library. Seth (their Sommelier) always nails it and is knowledgeable on a broad range of domestic and international wines.An absolute gem for anyone! Whether you have a sophisticated palette or just want to know what wine pairs well with grilled meat, Seth will not fail you.I look forward to his recommendations every time we are in town!

The store is wonderful.. lots of pre-made options for boaters and campers. Most of everything we have bought from their deli are is good...with exception of their "ready to eat ribs" today. They seemed to have steamed or boiled them rendering them flavorless..Not worth the $25.00 a slab. I sure hope they bring back the smoker.

For being a small store they have a pretty nice variety of items at decent prices. Happy to find soy nuts here. Not soy beans but its close enough if sandusky doesnt have them in their stores!Edit: I also like the bath bombs they have. I don't use them all the time, but they are good options and make for at least a nice Christmas present.Also love the big propane tank outside decorated as a lighthouse. Puts a little spirit in where i would normally deduct points.

Came in to grab a few things will camping. Was able to find what I needed for a good price.The donuts here now this is a hidden gem. A dozen cost a couple dollars more then speedway next door. But so worth it. They are huge and honestly fresh. Best I've had hands down sense 1997.

We have a camper in Marblehead and our favorite place to shop at is Bassett's. They have great food selection and customer service is amazing. Their Sushi is so good and always fresh! We always go there for a few things and wind up with more!

Great place to stock up on your way to the islands. Been coming here for more than 10yrs for that exact reason. Great food selection, built in liquor store and friendly people. Normally they have most of the registers open and waiting in line doesn’t take long. Definitely will be back when I head to the islands again.

Bassett's market truly embodies a perfect supermarket. They offer high quality products at reasonable prices. The staff also takes great pride in their work, whether they're a cashier or manager. It is nice to see a store that offers such great service and products.

Besides the great selection of products this place should me the motto of all grocery stores. The workers here always have a smile on their face and always greet you with good morning, can I help you etc. Phenomenal deli, meat selection and produce. Keep up the great work.

Great grocery store. A little pricey but great quality. Customer service is a strong pointA fantastic place to go if your budget isn't tight. I stop there on a regular basis. Very good wine and beer selection. Also has a state liquor store. It's worth a stop.

First let me say, we love Bassetts & shop here weekly. We had a sweet tooth so came in for pie. Most of the Bassetts pies were gone so we purchased a Mamajoes blueberry pie for just under $20. Horrible!!!!Overly sweet, flavorless berries & a weird aftertaste. Bassetts should reconsider selling these. Stick with your own Bassetts pies; always delicious.

Always have known this grocery was overpriced but shocked to find they are selling limes for $1.60 each when every grocery store in Columbus sells for $70 each or less. Why are their prices so high??? They really don’t need to charge people so much. Will not return for my grocery shopping. Hopefully they at least pay their employees the going rate of $20+ an hour however I highly doubt it. I might be in a bad mood today but f u to bassets grocery in catawaba.Update overpriced corn was moldy and inedible.

Couldn’t find the bread that I was looking for. I was only there a short time when a very kind man if I could find what I was looking for. When I told him that I couldn’t, he went to the back and brought more out for me. Thank you so much for you kindness and help. I live close to Vermilion but will go to Bassetts every chance I get. Such a wonderful staff. Jerry even remembered my kids from years ago. Keep up the great work.

The employees here are pleasant. I especially enjoy the great beer and wine selection available. You should watch, however, the time of year in which you shop here. It can be especially busy during the summer on the weekends with travelers to and from the island.

Good locally owned grocery store. Only downside is a very small fresh vegetable and fruit selection. Big assortment of beer and wine. Sushi bar in back. Need a quick meal, they have a deli with ready made sandwiches etc. Good selection of cheese and meat.Only mark off is for the smaller vegetable and fruit selection.

An icon of quality and service. Ditto Bassetts Hardware next door. Nothing to criticize. Always a nice experience! Fresh salad bar and great soups! I love the brothy ones, when they put one out every now and then. Health conscious? The supplement section gets better and better. First class!

Bassett's has everything. It's a great grocery store with a fabulous selection of produce, organic and not, fresh-baked goods, picnic needs, homemade soups, a brand new butcher and seafood counter, freshly made sushi on-site, a huge liquor store and beer selection, plus an adjoining hardware store where you can find absolutely anything you could possibly need for home, boat or RV. I love this store! Plus, it's clean, recently remodeled, and all the staff and management are friendly and helpful.

Very nice grocery store, fresh deli, good fruit vegetables selections. They even offer to carry your groceries out to your car.We bought some morrel mushrooms there, so good. Very friendly staff and quick check out. And prices compare with Wal-Mart and Kroger on some everyday items.

Always a great variety of goods in this store, but expect higher prices on all goods. They recently moved the customer service counter into a space that is simply too small and does not allow the staff a simple flow. Simply sending mail has become a chore here.

Charlie Bassett should very proud of this wonderful store with so many great HARD TO FIND anywhere else items and fast friendly service. Great FRESH bakery items and deli. If THIS store don't have it....You DON'T need it ! lol they have most everything especially during the summer bust season. NICE store we stop in when up in this area.

Great store, even better staff! Superb beer & wine selection. Post Office built-in. Not a front runner for health foods but I did see tofutti, non-dairy ice creams, non-dairy "milks", and several organic options. Adding a bulk section would make this place top-notch.

Groceries for the most part are overpriced. Employees followed me prying me for my money. When I got into a line, I had to wait until all of my items were on the conveyor belt before the cashier finally stopped talking to a lady about their friend. Her friendliness was short lived and I had to bag my own groceries. If you are NOT a Rich, Local person, DO NOT shop here. Bellvue store is much better.

Really like Bassett's. They were fully prepared for this busy holiday weekend, all cylinders firing in perfect order. We have some favorite items here we get to take back to Columbus.
