So I just did my annual spend 50 bucks on 3 gallons of antifreeze trip. I gotta tell you every year I come to this location despite living right near the North Olmsted store. I love this downtown store. John is an amazing resource. I asked him some wild raymarine network question he rattled it right off how to put a new chart plotter into an old full raymarine system. Then I hear him stop someone on the phone from putting 5200 on his out drive "No sir.. dont use 5200! you want 4000." Funny. I wish they would just have sales instead of playing around with their silly gold membership but ahh. that is corporate not this store. I like the store. They had a ridiculous amount of winterizing accessories. (In Covid years they had it but this year they have a literal ton) Great job.. been 8 years having a boat and Ive been coming here exclusively. Say Hi to John for me.

The staff was very helpful and professional. They even had a few suggestions on where I could get something that they didn't have. Have purchased from them in the past and with their price matching and their contribution to the youth sailing foundation for any of my purchases there is no reason to buy from anyone else.

There's nothing they can't help you with. It's pricey, and yeah Amazon is cheaper. But you can guarantee u got exactly what you needed. The fellas there are knowledgeable and seem to actuly care. Parking available mainly next to a parking meter, and its not in the best of neighborhoods.

West Marine has always treated me very well. Extremely helpful staff who are willing to give good advice, and you'll likely be in the store for under a minute before someone asks to help you. Cannot say enough about the customer service.Good selection of both "fun" stuff (clothes, floaties, knick knacks, etc.) And "work" stuff (paint, adhesives, hardware, etc.).They price match Amazon as well, no questions asked. Also they have a very generous return/replacement policy.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Do not deal with this company. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff. Especially the manager Kevin was not helpful and empathetic to our poor buying experience. We will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Please take you business elsewhere. West Marine will not earn one more dollar from me.

I called and asked if they carry lowrance HDS live units and the guy on the phone said they did. So I drove 40 mins to go buy one, get there and they dont have them. Then the person in charge tries to tell me that they are the same as the carbon units just different software... either he was not informed on the products he sells or simply just trying to push the sales on the carbons...

Qaey OK...not what I expect seing I heard so mush about them on how mush they know about things for boats..but when u call to ask a simple Common question,they need a lot of information to get what u need...unlike other places I called they already know what u need by 1 simple example even if you don't know what the peace is called...this people want serial numbers and god knows what else for something so common on any boat...not worth the hasstle to me...I rather pay more and not deal with having to deal with all that..my point to all this is I'm a auto mechanic myself...I worked on all types of cars and trucks...u ask me any questions about any car or truck I quarentee u I know what it is by 3 simple common things..Year/model/engine...that's all u need...don't care what it is.

We spent way too much as always. But unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for our wallets) they didn't have any mounting hardware for the marine grills. I'm not sure how your supposed to use your new grill on a boat without mounting hardware.

This store downtown looks like a tornado hit it. 3 guys at the counter. ZERO help like I would have gave stars for review. Overpriced! Buy online and save yourself a trip

Seems like a nice place for boating and maritime recreation however I was led to believe that it was also a bait and tackle store and they only had coolers and filet knives. Not even a single fishing rod.
