I started taking my Pembroke Welsh Corgi Jasmine to the Mutt Hutt prior to the pandemic while I was in graduate school. After the pandemic and a move, and another move back to Cleveland I decided to re-enroll my 2 Corgis Jasmine and Juno back to the Mutt Hutt. When I tell you they are top tier, they truly are! Becca and her crew are amazing, always have been accommodating and treat my dogs with love. What sets them apart is their ability to have indoor and outdoor socialization which is important to me. I am forever grateful for the Mutt Hutt and plan to only use them for socialization needs in the future.

Staffed/owned by the BEST people. I drive 15-20 minutes there and back, before and after work, twice a week, to take my dog because its so worth it. If I could take my human child there for daycare I would.

John, Becca and Bre are extremely knowledgeable! I was very very impressed with how much time and effort has been put into making sure that the Mutt Hutt runs seamlessly. You can tell that there is a wealth of experience there and your dogs come first in every decision that is made at TMH. My girls can't wait for their next visit.

I give the Mutt Hutt 5 stars. I have had three dogs go there over the years since 2006. All of my dogs loved it there. My current dog, Kody, gets all excited on daycare days when I mention were going. The staff is great and really know their dogs. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I would like to add one more comment that shows how great the people are there. Our dog, Kody, recently passed. He had been going to the Mutt Hutt for about 10 years. We received a package shortly after he passed. It was a large picture of Kody that now hangs above our fireplace. It was sent to us by the owners of the Mutt Hutt. That says volumes about the people that own the business and work there. While we don't have another dog yet, he/she will become a Mutt Hutt member when we do.

Our dog Hera LOVES The Mutt Hutt. She goes once or twice a week for a full day and gets the best socialization. No cages or crates, the pups roam free and play all day! There are so many cool spaces for them to enjoy. The staff are friendly and professional. Our favorite is Brie- she’s super kind and does a great job grooming our baby. Hera always gets excited to see her! They get to know the dogs and all their quirks or sensitivities. When we first starting bringing Hera we requested she eat lunch there because she was on a strict diet. She has a very sensitive stomach and cannot have any treats. They were sure to uphold our requests and did so with ease. We will be here for years to come, thank you!

We love the Mutt Hutt. They go to great lengths to ensure that the dogs transition into the program well and that they remain safe while they are there. Our dogs are always excited to go, and love running into the staff in the neighborhood. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and really seem to value their relationships with both the dogs and the owners. We live in Tremont, and love that the Mutt Hutt staff are active members in the community. Great place, great people, great mission.

The Mutt Hutt is hands down the best dog care business around. We have been bringing our dogs to The Mutt Hutt since 2012 for daycare, overnights and dog training. I'm constantly impressed by the level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to doing what is best for our dogs. Both of our dogs have history of behavior challenges. Becca and her staff have always been up front with us, honest and willing to partner with us to do what is best for our dogs. Even after moving to the east side, we still bring our dogs weekly. We came for the unique cage free environment and stayed for the amazing staff and mission. Thanks for always doing the right thing and being there for us!

I cannot recommend The Mutt Hutt enough. We have tried a few other daycare facilities in the area and while they were ok, my dog was noticeably happier after a day at TMH.I was hesitant about there not being cameras at the facility, but I have never once been worried about how my dog is doing while he's there. Becca has shared fun photos and videos of my dog with me during pick-up, which I love to see. Their social media is updated regularly and you can tell the dogs are having an absolute blast.Drop off in the morning is seamless (even with the limited parking in front) and pick-up in the afternoon is just as easy. The stand-out thing for me was how my dog was treated when a mystery injury occurred. Becca did not hesitate to call me and thoroughly explained what was going on and what her suggestion for care was. She took my dog to the vet (Gateway Animal Clinic), got him treated, kept me up-to-date, and helped coordinate billing with me (which I cannot thank them enough for!) and was super professional and concerned the whole time. And when my dog had to stay home due to an illness, Becca's team sent him a Get Well card and checked in on him.5/5 - you won't be disappointed with TMH! Their whole staff is amazing.

I've been taking my dog Hazel to the Mutt Hutt for a year and a half. This is the best daycare and overnight facility I've ever found.Hazel is afraid of crates, so their cage-free atmosphere has been a life-saver for us when we go on vacations. We also take her there at least twice a week for daycare and she LOVES it. She recognizes the street the Mutt Hutt is on and goes ballistic in the car when we get close because she is so excited. Every single time we take her there she pulls me inside of the building and doesn't even look back for me when the staff takes her into the play room because she is so excited to run around inside.Another thing I really appreciate is that their facility is secure. Hazel can jump at little over five feet in the air, so I was concerned that their fence wouldn't hold her (an issue at a place we took her previously). However, we've had no issues in this regard.I had my first experience with their grooming service this week and they did a fantastic job. This was the first time ever Hazel was able to get her nails done without being so frightened that she had to be muzzled. Their entire staff is great with the animals. The people there are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and dedicated to what they do! We love the Mutt Hutt!!!

I just started taking my 6-month-old chocolate lab, Suki, to The Mutt Hutt one day a week a couple of weeks ago. I have been so impressed by the staff/dog handler's obvious love of dogs. I love the fact that it's cage-free and that there are huge inside and outside play areas. I know in my bones that Suki is both having fun and being well cared for when she is there. When she comes home after a day at the Mutt Hutt, she is contentedly exhausted. Suki will be having her first overnight stay at the Mutt Hutt next week and I am convinced that everyone who works at this incredible place will make sure that she is comfortable and happy during her extended time there.

We've just adopted a wonderful senior dog from Secondhand Mutts, which is run out of Mutt Hutt. Our dog's foster mom had left a harness for us. When we arrived to get the harness (we were late, several weeks later), the harness was no longer readily found. However, the person working the store that day gave us TWO harnesses to try out (and we are to bring the other one back to the store). This was very convenient for us and much appreciated.

Becca and the team at The Mutt Hutt have been a blessing! I'm not from the Cleveland area originally, and was completely overwhelmed trying to raise a puppy by myself. Finding The Mutt Hutt helped my CRAZY pup and I through some of his worst months by providing a clean, safe environment for him to play and burn off some energy while I worked, helped socialize him to other dogs, and gave me a support system for when I was experiencing difficulties raising him. I could not have asked for better partners in dog-mom hood than Becca and the entire team. Thank you for everything that you do for us. We would be lost without you!

We went to two other doggy daycares before coming to Mutt Hutt. It was the furthest one from us - a 10 minute drive vs 5 minutes, and we couldn’t be happier to spend the extra time to travel. They have been FANTASTIC with our pup. She jumps right out of the car and into their facilities bc she’s so excited. She gets a full day of play with an attentive staff who makes sure she’s safe and happy. We love their outdoor space and we can tell that Penny is out there a lot as she comes home smelling a bit like the outdoors. Having her here is the best decision we’ve made. If we could give 10 stars, we absolutely would.

Beware if your dog is a puppy or doesn’t have tough paws. They use pea gravel, which can be known to irritate paws.I took my dogs here twice and both times my dogs ended up having pododermititis. Almost $400 later I was able to help my dogs with antibiotics and a paw soak. When contacting the Mutt Hut no one called me back. Instead they sent a very emotionless email saying that they disclosed the gravel and therefore there was nothing they could do. My dogs are like my kids so the lack of response when I sent a nice email was really jarring. How can you let someone take care of your animals who doesn’t care to call or really bring the human element into a situation? I wasn’t even looking for them to do anything. I was contacting them to let them know so that they could take this knowledge and help other dog owners that may have not have “strong” paw pads to withstand the gravel.Additionally, my partner submitted a review as she was outraged by the abysmal customer service and the lack of importance they gave the issue. Instead they decided to write a comment back (which is what they are used to if you look at any other reviews) and attempted to slam her review. This shows lack of maturity and lack of understanding. If you have a business, it is the right of customers to post a review. How about you do something to fix the issue instead of slamming negative things?Maybe grow up. Listen to the negative reviews, make changes. Don’t just dismiss issues and comments.CALL customers. Don’t just send a stock email. Learn that to have a business you have to be ok with the bad and the good. Not just good reviews. Maybe then you can be a better facility.

Excellent groomer! Reasonable prices! My dog looked spectacular after her grooming appointment. I allowed the groomer to do what she thought would work best for my dog and I was so pleased, my dog looked so cute! I couldn't be happier about the experience with the Mutt Hut Salon.

Our walrus loves the mutt hutt! Every day he tries to sneak in the car with me assuming he gets to go to day care. He goes twice a week and always has such a positive experience. The people are always great as well. He’s a loyal member and I couldn’t imagine it any other way!

We have not cared for our experience with the Mutt Hutt. I Would say the one bright spot is Anthony, who helped us to train our pup for a good while. Every time we picked up the dog, we were lectured and talked down to about his energy and poor performance that day. No one else complains and we think he's a pretty good dog. They also advised us to neuter our dog early. They wouldn't accept him back into daycare until he was neutered, possibly to pup's detriment, as it was earlier than was advised for neutering. It seemed they pushed us out because they didn't want to deal with our higher-energy pup. They prefer the sleeping dogs on their Instagram page, I'm sure.John is really the icing to this unappetizing cake. Quite condescending.

We absolutely LOVE TMH! We've been taking Moose girl there for over a year. We tried out a few different dog day care programs in the area, but once we tried Mutt Hutt there was no turning back. It feels good to take Moose to a place where we know (1) she loves and has fun, (2) they love and take care of Moose just like we would, and (3) the staff genuinely cares. The only downside is that they don't have cameras. BUT, they do have a very active instagram account, if you check there, you can usually find a video of your dog running around.

We took our lab pup to Anthony for some training after a recommendation from a family member. We started when our dog was about 4 and a half months old and starting to be a terror. After 7 sessions over the course of about 5 months, we have an extremely well trained dog who isn't even a year old yet. Training with Anthony was the best thing we ever could've done for our dog. I have had multiple labs before and never experienced this level of obedience until my dogs were at least 3 or 4 years old. I highly recommend Anthony and the Mutt Hutt.

Had you asked my opinion a year and a half ago, I would have said they are wonderful. Given them five stars and then added more! However, things change. I have a problem child dog. He was a rescue and has a lot of issues including territorial aggression issues, very over protective of his people and a lot of fears. In addition he is 120 lbs. all of that being said he has been able to attend the Mutt Hutt and thrive. He was so happy and would greet us with a big doggie grin when we would pick him up. Let me say this is the only place he has been able to go successfully because he is not caged. He cages fine-- but when released he will not come out and can be aggressive when not at home. The allowing a cage free existence made this a perfect place for him.So what is the problem you ask? Well, all was good for a few years. But as they grew, they became more selective. Because we live out of town and only come up once a year during peak travel times we are no long welcome as we are not regular clients. We made our reservations early and had all records sent. Last time they said we needed to do an intake again because it had been awhile since he had been there, which we did (not fun on vacation). They knew we were from out of town and yet scheduled the intake and took the money. When we picked him up they said their business had grown and changed and we we no longer welcome to use their services. The fact that we have a really special needs dog not withstanding. They knew this was the only place we could take him and that now we are really in a bind. But why put us through the intake if they knew that ahead of time. They claim to be so for the animals--but not in our case. We are in a position where we now have to choose seeing family or keeping dog. We know we could never give him up as he would end up put down. All of this because of greed.Because we are not regular clients and she will not allow us to come as annual visitors. Really, given this dogs history and the fact this is the only place he can be happy but the Mutt Hutt can longer make a space for him. I was told that the owner would call me last year after we were thrown out to discuss the issue. That never happened. So, if you use them, and your dog is happy, I encourage you to attend often if you want to remain on the "approved" list. Otherwise shop elsewhere, where dollars do not overrule what is good for the animal. So for us-- our family vacation means that we cannot do much of anything as we need one family member to stay with the dog or only be gone for very short trips. It also means we cannot have visitors as the dog does not do well with strangers. So this year our vacation will likely be more stressful than relaxing.

My dogs love the Mutt Hutt!! Dropping them off is quick and easy. The staff is very helpful and they all really, really seem to love dogs. When I pick them up in the evening both dogs are worn out and happy. I suggest TMH to everyone I meet with a dog.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone with young dogs or puppies. The pea gravel that they use here causes dogs with soft paws to sustain injuries. Two dogs in my family had their paws worn raw from playing on the gravel without enough breaks.Re: Your responseI can’t speak to your phone calls, because I am not the owner. The fact that you call the situation an “exaggeration” is what is unfortunate though. If two young animals rub their paws raw at your facility, and they require prednisone and antibiotics, perhaps you should reconsider your substrate, your approach, and your customer service. Good luck.

Mutt hutt is the only place I trust with my dog! He is obsessed with all his friends and the wonderful workers there. We’ve been coming consistently for a year now, and we couldn’t have been happier

They pride themselves on caring for dogs with disabilities but they didn't know what to do for my Cockapoo that is blind. She barks if she feels isolated and they put her in a room to make her stop barking. We take her to Camp Bow Wow instead because they are awesome with her. I would never recommend The Mutt Hutt because of this.

Be very careful if your a first timer there or getting your dog evaluated for approval for daycare. Took my dog there came to pick him up 4 hrs. later as instructed and immediatley noticed a dulllookinhis eyes. My dog has never been sick since I adopted him 7 months ago. He got home didn't move eat or go out. Next morning same so I took to the vet. Hadbloodworkexam etc and found his paws we're raw like hamburger. 500.00 dollars later 3 different medications and several days later he started to recover. Called MHutt talked to John said they use pea gravel and that is rough on paws. This was never explained to me and why would they let him run for 4 hrs. straight on this surface for first time is unexceptable. My best friend suffered for days due to negligence on this daycare. Our new dog trainer was told about this she advised be aware of daycares that won't allow you to see the facility. Please thinking your 4 leggrd friend before you make a daycare facility so you don't go through what we did.

When my dog rocky died we wanted to donate his food. A kind ladie from the mutt hut came to pick it up! We started to search the web for dog in need for a home and we found Zoey. A few days later we went to see her and she was super sweet and well taken care of. The next day she got spayed and we took her home. She is a sweet loving dog. But then we found out she had a twin sister out in the wild. The Mutt Hut worked for weeks to catch her. They finally got her and we fostered her then adopted her. Now about every Wednesday we take them to day care which is OUTSTANDING!!!!!! They take good care of them and keep them together!

Our 6-year old dog Banshee need a good deshedding and haircut . When she was done, she looked like a new puppy! Thank you Jaimie and Bre, I think it’s the best she has ever looked! And you know how to deal with her! (which is no small task).
