Took my good boy in for his first ever groom he was nervous since he's always with my or my husband. He's a pit bull mix so people sometimes treat him like he's dangerous but the groomer realized he's just a super sweet big baby and she was very patient and gentle with him. I will be going back to get him groomed there.

Great store.. I get worms for my Gecko at this store it's the only place in the area with good Meal worms which is important to me and My 12 year old Boy named Handsome! They have a good staff of friendly people and the prices are decent. My go to pet store.

Went twice for dog grooming. First time seemed to go great. Quick and high quality work. I was quite happy with the experience. The second time not so great. Before taking my dog, the groomer went through a long list of how badly things went the first time saying my dog was extremely uncooperative but at least he was friendly. She questioned why I had brought him back and was hesitant to take him. I was thinking, “then why would you let me book another appointment and drive out here and why didn’t you tell me this last time”? She was rude about it but said she’d give it another try. When I came back to pick him up things didn’t go well. She was able to shave his back and only 3 legs. So he looked pretty ridiculous. It really fit his personality so I would have been fine laughing this one off. The cuts on his tongue and paw however was not funny. Then she brought out a trainer who went on a lengthy unsolicited lecture on what she presumed I was doing wrong. They were both pretty emotional at this point which is surprising since this can’t be the first challenging dog they’ve had to groom. They finally let me have him back and I had him go through a series of commands where he performed perfectly. They seemed surprised and then softened and offered to try again in the future saying perhaps they weren’t patient enough. I still paid $85 for the clown cut. I still added tip for them since Victor is a challenging dog for grooming. Just wish the groomers could be more professional and less emotional as well as communicate issues better. I would have gladly paid them extra for the extra work they put in. I also wish the free treats in the lobby were better. My dog is a glutton. I’ve never seen him turn down treats before. So we’re off to find a place where they are more patient and the treats are better.

This Petco is located in Steelyard, it's always very clean. It's got a very nice selection of fish and fish items, small animals, and all kinds of pet supplies. Workers have always been friendly to me.

I came here for my pet’s vaccine/flea medicine needs & was so pleased with how friendly/efficient with how literally all the staff were! The Vetco associates were the most helpful, I could tell that they were seasoned professionals who truly had the pet’s best interests at heart. The two gals in the Vetco truck were so kind to me & my two kitties Strat & Meki La Roux <3 also, Fay at the register inside the Petco store was so delightful with excellent customer service & a bright positive vibe <3 take your pets here for their vaccines/flea meds/any general shopping needs that you have for your pets and I bet you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again for the help!

Sold me a baby piebald snake covered with mites and he died because of petco. They don’t care about the animals they are selling and the customers they are selling to. I hate this store so much. They cost me couple hundred of dollars because of there lack of experience. They let there employees buy animals and let them return them after they get sick or hurt to the store and let customers buy them. There is a woman name Lisa there she is absolutely disrespectful and rude.

Love Petco this is where I adopted Hamlet in 2009 he was estimated around 7-9 yo. The There babies are from the APL and you get a coupon book for free stuff and big discounts. Great experience. Go there and adopt a kitty 🐈😺 treat them like Royalty.*Hamlet Passed Away January 30th, 2018* 😿

This place did my dogs hair so bad he had some patches all messed up and he had the most uneven hair it was so bad do not get your dogs hair done here if you don’t want you pets hair all messed up he was supposed to have just a trim and they made him almost bald. hes a yorkie not a chihuahua to be bald that lady dont even know how to fix his face I’m so mad to waste $60 for my baby to be so messed up.

I didn’t even recognize my baby girl my heart dropped when I picked her up they also cut her hair and when I went to pick her up the lady was yelling at the other dog me and GInger will never be back (heartless )

love going in there to refill our cat litter but what I don't car for is people going in with guns! yes, for some reason petco allows people to walk in with guns. How you suppose to know who's the threat if something was to go down or if someone looks decent but it's only a decoy to make you relaxed and then get you off guard.

I’m commenting just because I came to look up the number and saw the last comment by issac, SHAWN, is by far the best, I worked here like 8 years ago and worked for Shawn, he has the best interest in customers and his employees, and he wasn’t following you, you does stocking to help employees EVERYDAY! Shawn is the best manager I’ve ever worked for.

My new little guy so far so good healthy little baby betta, readily eating and active. Cant give the full 5stars due to the fact that not one person informed me that care is a tad bit different from adults and many die. But so far everything has been going well with this one so I'm happy.

It's an amazing place I got a beta a hamster and the Personnel make a great Team they're amazing they give u the proper things u need to take care of them with the paper and everything with instructions!!!! Just love it!! It was my first time there but it was worth it!! Thank you so much!!! I'll recommend everyone to go there!!!

I want here to get animal food for my cat and dogs. I also got a harness for my dog. The place is very well stocked and the workers were very nice. I normally come here to get my animal food. I never have had an issue here. I also like to go in and look at all the other animals in the tanks. One day I'll get me one. I sure my kids would enjoy it
