My last day in Cleveland ended with a good flavor of ice cream from this place. I had their vegan chocolate. The flavor was rich and it hit the right senses. I enjoyed every bit of it. They have a variety of flavors on their menu. There's something for everyone here. You can also have your ice-cream in a waffle cone. The store can hold large groups which makes it a good spot for students in the vicinity. Their staff were polite and friendly. This is definitely a place to visit if you love ice-cream!

One of the best in the area. Seasonal varieties doing the round are just fabulous. Love the pistachios and the pumpkin spice ! I mean i have been trying new scoop every time and none has failed my taste buds so far. Totally recommended for anyone. The staff is really generous and makes you equally happy as does the ice cream 🍦scoop. The scoops are super large for one person lol 😂Thanks for making everyone happy :)

Mitchell's is one of the top ice cream vendors in Cleveland! I am a huge fan of their sundaes but many of their standalone flavors are great too. Even their frozen yogurt selection is delicious too. I recommend the peanut butter chocolate pretzel yogurt! I am certain I'll be back to Mitchell's many times. Their location in Uptown is accessible and in a nice area to walk around after visiting Case Western's campus or many of the museums and institutions in that area!

The best thing about them is that you can go upstairs and see them in action! Such a happening and cute ice cream shop with toy trains going back and forth. Loved it!

The flavors/options here are amazing and I'm glad I am able to sample them before I commit to a scoop. The two scoops in my cone where wildberry crumble and caramel apple. I was told by (I think) a manager that the Banana Cream Pie is amazing. She wasn't not lying. Next time, I'll get that and the toasted pistachio! You got yourself a returning customer 😉

Great ice cream and helpful staff. I loved the toasted pistachio ice cream. They also have a wide array of peanut butter mixes (and i love peanut butter).Only problem is how close to work this is as I'm sure my waistline will suffer!🤣🤣🤣

Excellent experience. They have THE BEST care taken for folks with nut allergies.Friendly and helpful staff, EXCELLENT ice cream. Parking is free if under an hour.I had the root beer float - tasty and the vanilla bean ice cream is very good.You should definitely stop by for some deliciousness!

This is a great Mitchell's location. It has all the great flavors that you know and love and the staff is just as friendly as every other location. It can be a little bit difficult to find and park is difficult but that is just the nature of the area it's in. And depending on the school year and whether they are students around the lines can sometimes be longer than usual. But they generally keep the place moving quickly. It's not my number one choice for Mitchell stops but it's still a great one.

Amazing, local, fresh ice cream. I highly recommend getting a Sunday or Milkshake as they are the best value and their whipped cream is amazing. The little conveniences like free pretzel sticks and being able to do "sampler" orders make getting ice cream there a treat. Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Note it is not noticeable as you drive by so make sure you check the map.

Love this ice cream shop, dont go no where else. They have 2 new flavors coconut chocolate almond omg taste just like almond joy candy bar, lemon white chocolate cookie so so good and you have your choice of cones to go with your purchase

The ice cream here is amazing! I love each and every flavors they have. They also sell in boxes for you to take it home and enjoy it at your comfort. I almost always take the Taster’s Duo or Trio because having just one flavor is just not enough! It’s located in kind of a hidden area which might make it difficult to reach it first. While you visit the place do not forget to taste a few samples before deciding.

This was my favorite place in Cleveland by far! The ice cream was so creamy and smooth and there were so many choices. I got cookie dough ice cream and raspberry sorbet, both delicious. The vanilla ice cream was very smooth and there were good amounts of cookie dough in it, much to my desire. The raspberry sorbet was good, however I felt it was a little too heavy on the raspberry. Overall a great ice cream place, definitely something you should try if you happen to go.

Decent ice cream for the price, though I've had two bad flavors from there within two visits. Salted caramel was all salt (threw it out) and their chocolate was probably too dark (left a sour tang on the back of the tongue, but if you're into that you might like it). I'll stick with fruit flavors from now on.

Clean, friendly, great variety of flavors. Have vegan, no added sugar, non dairy sorbet, and yogurt alternatives. Have shakes, sundaes, and scoops. Waffle cones are made in house so it always smells amazing in there! They also sell pints, quarts, and ice cream cakes/pies in a grab and go section (and offer the sale of dry ice to keep those items frozen!). You can also buy cones to make your own cone at home from your quart which I think is genius.Seating inside and outside in good weather. Parking available with free one hour in lot or metered street parking. They offer free samples (stopped during early COVID).My only complaint is their queue organization. They have bars installed in the floors to create orderly lines but then they help people somewhat out of order. So the first person is ordering multiple things, the person behind them orders one quick cone and now is being shuttled past the first person to pay. This would be fine except the metal barriers don't provide a lot of room to pass people. Especially because people are often there in groups or with kids and not paying attention to traffic behind them. I've ended up being brushed up against or having to shimmy past people. And in the winter with bulky jackets and during COVID it just always makes me uncomfortable. It's chaotic and it makes it hard if you're there with a stroller or mobility aid (walker, wheelchair) because you become in the way. I sometimes order for a group because others are anxious about standing in the queue and being surrounded.

A true artisan ice creamery knows how to take risks with flavors and doesn't stick to the familiar vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry routine. I had the non-dairy vegan options and they were outstanding. I didn't expect to find a vegan experience outside of the coastal cities.

You already know it’s good. Always has vegan options - chocolate and salted caramel pecan are the standard. Generally a rotating third. Vegan buckeye is a great rotating third.
