Paws Play is my go to for boarding and sometimes even when I need a break. I wish I could take them every day but the drive would be killer for me. I did start taking my first corgi there when I first moved to Cleveland. They made him feel right at home and safe. And they did such a great job with my newest rescue. This place really cares and knows dogs.

I (really) don't write reviews, but had to. I recently boarded my dog for 2 weeks...it was the first time I have ever boarded a dog and I was nervous. After a great (free) day of us all getting to know each other and going through the facility - he went there a few days later. For 2+ weeks.... what could be a nerve wracking extended time apart for me and my velcro dog was not - everything went so great. I was able to take his bowls, blankets, toys, whatever I felt like he couldn't do without and it was all kept in his private suite (standard, spacious kennel for them and he is a big dog) for him. Every day I got pictures and an update - he was having the best time playing. The staff was quick to respond to any text I sent back and watching him - too much probably - on camera in the evenings was helpful. The night I came home, I arrived after hours, they were so willing and helpful to stay and wanted to make sure I could get him that night. Thanks especially for this- was so appreciated! Love the location and super easy drop off and pick up in busier downtown area. The staff were so great! Big shout out to Josh & Dani - very much appreciate the notes and daily pictures!We will definitely be back for day time play dates w his new friends.Could not recommend them more - plus we are supporting a small, local, veteran owned business. Win Win.

Paws Play-CLE is the best home away from home! I have had to go to Cleveland Clinic a couple of times (traveling from Indiana) and Max & Alayna’s Paws Play has enabled me to bring my Yorkie with me. I hated the idea of boarding him. We were able to register ahead of time, then on the morning of my doctor appointments, we took him for his evaluation and he stayed the day. When my appointments were done we picked up a very happy, exhausted 😂, puppy and went back to the hotel. Next day, repeat! 👍🏼👍🏼💜

Paws Play is hands-down the best. My dog gets SO excited before we even walk inside. I was nervous the first time taking her to doggy daycare but the staff made us feel like family. They send pics throughout the day too which is great. 10/10 recommend!

I’ll start this review, by stating that I am a kennel owner myself. When touring Cleveland, we stopped our dog off for daycare at Max & Alayna’s. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. The suites and play yards were immaculate.We could not have picked a better place. I highly recommend using them for your daycare and boarding needs.

We love Max and Alayna’s Paws Play! The facility is spotless, everyone is friendly, and drop-off is my dog’s favorite part of the day. He gets excited the very second he sees the building. It’s so important to find a daycare where the team truly cares about animals and they really do at Paws Play. They also send updates so you can be assured your pup is safe and having a great time. I highly recommend sending your furry one here!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Max & Alayna's Paws Play!  They provide top notch, personalized care for your fur-babies and do so in a very professional manner.  Communication and feedback is excellent and well-organized.  Directions are followed perfectly.  Teressa (the owner) has been taking care of my cat, "Monnie", for almost a year now, coming to my townhouse in downtown Cleveland when I am out of town to care for him (so he doesn't have to be boarded).  On every occasion, she has gone above and beyond to make sure he is well cared for -- even stepping up to give him insulin shots, his 3 daily supplements/medications, and his inhaler (yes -- my cat has an inhaler for his asthma, poor guy!).  Her care keeps him calm (he gets stressed when we are away as many animals do), and has helped to keep him in good health even at the ripe old age of 15! Despite usually being resistant to "strangers", he quickly warmed up to Teressa and adores her!  I really appreciate the care, love and attention he has received from Max & Alayna's, and am 100% confident you will as well!

Finley loves his days at PawsPlay. The staff is attentive and affectionate, they tailor his favorite ball playing just for him, and they are generous with pets and love. I am comfortable boarding Finley here also. Teressa and her team are terrific!

This review is way overdue! When I originally knew that I would be moving to Cleveland in the fall of 2022, I was worried about the care of my mini golden doodle, Lexie. She had never been to daycare nor has she boarded overnight at a facility. Rather, we had an excellent Dog Walking company (Dog Gone Walking) while living in Pittsburgh. She would stay at their house when I was traveling. Therefore, I was nervous about this transition.I did my research and found Max & Alayna’s’s. I first started off by having her stay at the daycare when I was in town to look for a place to live. Despite never being in daycare, she clearly loved going there.A few things to note:1. The place is so clean! I am very picky about this.2. They take such good care of all the dogs there. All the dogs are clean, and they all look happy to be there.3. All of the staff, starting from the owners, are incredibly kind and professional. They know Lexie well, and we both sense how much they truly care about her.4. They have been so flexible with me given the craziness of my work demands. They have let her come in earlier in the morning, and have never made me feel terrible (although I do anyways because that’s just me!) whenever I am running a little late.5. She boarded for the first time in her life earlier this month. The individual “suites” were clean with an elevated platform to put her favorite bed. They also gave her a nice bath before I brought her home so she came back, looking, clean, and fluffy!6. They have lovely parties for the dogs with “arts and crafts“ in photos. Please see the one below :-)Overall, I am so incredibly grateful to have found Max & Alayna’s’s. Thank you so much for everything!

I am incredibly impressed with Max & Alayna's Paws Play. As first-time visitors, the level of care and attention they provided to our dog was exceptional. They took the time to understand his needs, gave us a thorough tour of the facility, and communicated with us throughout the day, even sending adorable photos. My bulldog loves going to camp. She gets so excited on 'camp days' that she can barely contain herself. The owner is so thoughtful and checked up on Baxter when she had to have surgery. They also take the dogs on walks and provide enrichment toys and activities daily (which were an additional expense at other day camps we have been too). Because I work downtown, it is very easy for me to just drop Baxter off before and after work. I highly recommend this day camp. Your doggie will get exercise, socialization, and love!

My fur baby Luca has been going to Max and Alayna's Paws Play since he was an itty bitty little baby and he LOVES it! Teressa and her team met with me before I even got him, gave me tips on caring for a young pup and even got me in touch with reliable vet services in Cleveland.Even though he was already well-socialized, the Paws Play team made sure to keep him safe and gauge his level of comfort well before introducing him to more doggos when he first started out. Now he's one of the happiest, friendliest pups in existence and plays with doggos of all breeds and sizes.Since then, they have taken phenomenal care of my baby while I worked long hours, and even provided door-to-door transportation when I had to leave work before they open. Whether he was there for daycare or boarding, they kept me updated with pictures and videos and gave me with a little doggo nanny-cam login to check up on Luca while I'm away. Teressa has even been kind enough to take him home when I worked overnight and there were no other doggos boarding during the pandemic. She also offered to foster him while I'm waiting for visa processing to return to the country.As for Luca himself, Paws Play is quite possibly one of his favorite places in the city. He always wanted to stop by to say hi on our walks, and once even wriggled free of his (then slightly oversized) harness and broke IN to daycare!

I have used Paws Play for both daycare and boarding for my two dogs and they love it! The staff is friendly, helpful, and will go the extra mile to make sure your pets are comfortable. This past weekend, I did a hybrid of in-facility boarding for both pups, then transport to my home for in-home care by Paws Play staff. Dani and Destiny checked in with me via text each time they were with my dogs at my home, which I was so grateful for. If you are looking for a daycare or boarding facility that makes you feel as good as your pups, this is it!!

If I could give Max and Alayna’s 100 stars, I certainly would. From my first contact via phone call, I was super impressed. The communication was superb, facility super clean, employees were wonderful and always professional…I could go on and on.We were visiting from out of town for a wedding and brought our 2 Golden girls with us…we don’t typically board our girls but after speaking with Dani on several occasions prior to traveling, we felt more than ok doing so. Honestly, I cannot say enough positive things about Max and Alayna’s.EVERYONE, I truly mean everyone, was exceptional in their communication with us both prior to arrival and during their stay, and exceptional in the care of our girls. I can honestly say I have never felt like a business truly loved what they all were doing until our visit to Max and Alayna’s.Thank you all for your care and attention to our babies.Dani and Josh went way beyond in making them feel loved and comforted-my husband and me as well.Thank you Thank you :) Willow and Tulip

I just wanted to say out of all of the doggie daycares in our area that I have picked up or dropped off one of my clients pets at, the staff at Max & Alayna’s Paws Play were the kindest, most helpful people. You can tell the staff truly LOVES what they do and LOVES the dogs in their care. They take the time to get to know the pets in their care and their little quirks and behaviors and how to best handle any quirks the particular dog may have to help keep the dogs safe and happy as can be. As the owner of a dog walking and dog training business nothing impresses me more than when I can say wonderful things about the staff at a doggie daycare and boarding business. I can whole heartedly say anytime my client needs the option of a doggie day care or boarding or even grooming that I will gladly tell them to call Max & Alayna’s Paws Play because the 4 different staff members I have interacted with are truly wonderful people and their love pets!!!!!

I can’t say enough great things about paws play! They take such great care of our pup, Louie. Teressa and the rest of the staff are all so welcoming, professional, and reliable. They constantly are sending updates (videos, photos) of Louie throughout the day. He comes home SO tired and always has such a great time. When i take him there i know he’s in wonderful, loving hands! The best downtown Cleveland dog daycare around. I highly recommend Paws Play to any dog owner looking for daycare or boarding.

We've been taking our dog, Dori, to Paws Play for almost three years now and we, myself, my wife, and our dog, can't say enough good things. It's such a blessing to have in the neighborhood. I love how excited our dog gets when she sees the workers at Paws Play, and every time she leaves she makes sure to give them a goodbye kiss, lol 🐶 😘 Teressa, Deb, Dani and the whole crew is pretty much extended family. Paws Play is the best Doggie Daycare/overnight boarding place in NE Ohio. The staff is caring, the facility is clean, and the dogs are treated wonderfully. My dog Waffles can be a handful, but they have gone above and beyond to be both understanding and supportive of him and his needs. I could not recommend Paws Play more highly.

My pup, Shorty, and I love Paws Play! Everyone is so welcoming and professional. When I need to come into the city for work I drop her off for full-day daycare, it gives me peace of mind because I know she'll get the interaction and care she needs. The online portal is awesome to schedule daycare in advance and for keeping my pups records up-to-date. Drop off/pickup are very easy too. Shorty is pooped by the time she leaves and typically conks out on the 30-minute ride home. If you are thinking about Paws Play, just schedule your first appointment, I promise you won't be disappointed.

After moving to Cleveland with my anxious mini Aussie.. I tried doggy daycare to socialize him and get him used to bigger dogs. It changed him completely..he loves other dogs now and daycare. What I really love about this place though are the people. From the owner, to everyone that works there that interacts with my pup. I always notice the way my dog acts when he sees someone that works at pawsplay... he runs up to them, so excited, and of course each person is always happy to see him. He’s never timid or uncomfortable. My biggest thing was making sure I could leave my dog with people who would take care of him. I made my worries known and I truly believe because of it, they made sure to take extra care, give him extra attention and make sure he loved daycare. So incredibly grateful for Paws Play.

We were in a bit of a pickle when we had to pick up our new rescue dog on a Thursday and had a wedding over the weekend. We reluctantly decided to board the pup and we are SO glad we found Paws Play! They were lifesavers! The facility is small, but nice. Each pup gets their own suite with a bed. The employees are really amazing with dogs and pay such close attention to each of them. They could tell we were really nervous about leaving the new puppy, but they sent photos and videos the whole time and made us very relieved that he was getting great care! These guys even give special treats and offer a “tuck in” service for nervous pups. It was such a great experience and if we ever need to board our pup in Cleveland again, we will surely come back here!

Paws Play is such an awesome facility. The staff is knowledgeable and you can sense their love for doggies! I love the fact that all prospective daycare doggies spend a day at the daycare to test their temperament and ensure that they are a good fit for daycare. This let me know that the safety of my pup is valued over a dollar. Also, I really enjoyed the personalized photos and videos that I received throughout the day. I guarantee that once you utilize their services you will NOT want to send your doggie anywhere else!

We were in Cleveland for a day trip to the Rock n Roll hall of fame and didn't want to have to rush and worry about the dogs. Last minute I decided doggy daycare would be a good idea. From the start Max & Alayna's was amazing to work with. They were very responsive to my application getting my info in the same day so I could schedule. One of our dogs goes to the groomer and so adapted quickly the other has a bit of separation anxiety but they handled him great and sent pictures of how he was doing. Both dogs were happy and tired when we picked them up. Will definitely use them again next time we are in Cleveland!

My dog has been at Paws Play for over six months. I am always kindly greeted at the door when I drop off and pick up my dog. My dog enjoys various activities throughout the day as opposed to just being thrown in a room and left to her own devices. I receive videos and pictures throughout the day to let me know how my dog is doing. I believe the owner and her employees have a genuine and sincere love for animals. Paws Play actively engages its dog owners and the Cleveland dog community through various events. I would highly recommend Paws Play.

My 8-month-old puppy has been attending day care 2-3x per week for nearly a month and she loves it. And we love it because she’s very happy and tired at the end of the day. They take excellent care of the puppies and dogs, and send regular photo and video updates via text during day care stays. Paws Play CLE makes it really easy to schedule online. 100 percent would recommend to Cleveland-based dog owners.

We will not take our Chancey anywhere else :) He absolutely loves Paws Play. It was so convenient when they opened up downtown last year as we had just gotten him as a puppy and were looking for a place to take him to get some energy out during the week. Little did we know, this place would become his home away from home! He goes once a week for daycare and anytime we need to board him, this is our go-to. They care for every dog as if it is their own and follow any direction to a T you give them about your pup. Highly highly recommend!

My little Poezy was thrown away and found her under a dumpster. Of course she was a pitbull, scared, malnourished, flea infested, ears infected and obviously was used for breeding. She jumped into my arms and after a year of nursing her back to health and spayed, she continued to love everything and everyone. We were turned down by many daycare, until I contacted this wonderful place. I brought her in for an evaluation and we were welcomed with open arms. She is sooo sweet and loving and her confidence is because of these awesome people! I never dreamed that she would have this chance to know how to be a dog and have friends.
