I switched to Lake Erie Pet Food Co earlier this year. I have a corgi mix with a sensitive stomach. I get the lamb and rice recipe. I was recommended to this company by a number of people from a Facebook group. I cannot express how much I love this company. I get to buy from a small business, they are local and they deliver straight to my door. My dog is so excited when I pour his food and his tummy loves it too! Great customer service! I’m so happy I made the switch!

Lake Erie Pet Food does a great job at providing natural, wholesome food for your cats & dogs! They have treats, toys, and food for cats & dogs. Plus some natural flea & tick spray - that stuff is awesome! I love taking my dog in to pick out his next batch of treats :) And I love the dry food subscription - it's easy to set up & change, so we're never out of food!

Kitten had sudden chronic diarrhea since Oct 2023 (I am writing this January 2024). Vet was about to do all these expensive tests, procedures and a biospy after the food intolerance test came back pretty severe.I compared her intolerance results to the chicken's kibble ingredients and she was in the clear on all besides one of the berries but I figured let's try it anyway. Within FOUR DAYS eating the chicken dry food my kitten's diarrhea vanished. I am SHOOK. Hill's diet and expensive sensitive tum food didn't work because she was intolerant to over half the ingredients in both due to the preservatives!Both my kitten and adult cat devour this food and I love that it's locally made. Pet food was originally recommended by our adult cat's vet since we wanted to provide a more natural food (and he hates wet food). To say I'm beyond happy is an understatement.

My cat LOVES the herring and duck. Not my cup of tea, so no reason to share. She has always preferred Fromm wild game, but since i gave her this, she eats around it. I like that they have a physical store, friendly people.

Made a quick stop to their store front on Lorain to look for a bone or toy for my super chewer dog. They showed me the new Bulletproof Indestructibone chew toy they just started to offer. Figured it was worth a try. Let me tell you, my dog is obsessed with this chew toy. Its softer then the bones and antlers I typically give him which is a huge bonus and it has holes for treats. My pup is a Golden Retriever/ Norwegian Elkhound mix so the energy level is super high but this toy is holding up so well! I've had it for 4 days, 3 days longer then any other toy. Totally worth it.

First time stopping in but long time follower. They were so nice, we got some free treats and a sample bag of their kibble. Their shop is small but they still seem to have all the things you will need. Always love meeting good people.

A family member had provided us with a sample of Lake Erie Pet Food from a local festival and our dog loved the food! After switching over from a name brand, our 3 year old Havanese has now been eating the salmon dog food for a few years now. And she still loves it! The delivery service is awesome (even to local suburbs) and super easy to manage via email reminders. We are glad we found this local dog food provider in Cleveland who provides quality food for our pet!

Best pet food ever. When I used to feed regular big company food to my dog, his poop was so big and stinky. Found out it was because he wasn't fully digesting nutrients from the food. After I switched his food to Lake Erie, his poop size significantly got smaller, and it does not stink. Then I switched over my cat food to Lake Erie and his coat is very shiny and he is shedding less. I was worried about my pets switching food so quickly, but they did not have tummy issues. Also, before the switch I had to mix chicken broth and other food to make them eat it but now I don't have to convince them to eat Lake Erie Pet Food. They will eat it without complaining. I like how they give free samples out. I may try different flavors next time :)

I love the quality of their food. My dogs enjoy it as well, which is huge because out of 3 I have 1 picky eater! Also super helpful that they ship all over the country. We spend half our time in Florida…. This is very convenient. We don’t have to switch our dogs to different food and go through that whole process, and we continue to feed them what they like!

Our dog had allergy issues and they stopped completely when we put him on a grain free variety from Lake Erie Pet Food. I have recommend them to several friends and I know they love this business also. Eric is very responsive to emails and has a kind heart. The store is beautiful and has so many kinds of interesting treats. I love that the food is delivered (because who wants to have to run out to get dog food when you unexpectedly run out?) and I love that I never have to worry about those national brand dog food recalls. Plus, my dog loves his food and even gets excited if we see the delivery truck out and about. Happy customer for over 5 years!

Just wanted to jump on here and share how much I love this company and the team behind Lake Erie Pet food. I was first introduced to the product with a free sample from a food festival in Tremont a few years ago. My dog LOVES the food and we've been a loyal customer ever since. I was so deviated when I had to move out of state, and was then informed that they ship all over the country. Thank god! I've also had a small hiccup with delivery a while ago that was not a big deal, I came in to pick up and they gave me a free bag of treats. There was really no inconvenience to me, but to do the right thing for the customer went a long way, and I won't forget that. Absolutely love supporting this local business.

Awesome company! We've been getting our food for our Great Pyrenees going on 4 years. He's a picky eater and this was the first brand that he consistently ate. The owner hand delivers Colby's food once every other month. Great service and highly recommend. The store is fantastic too!

I LOVE THIS COMPANY. It’s unbelievably convenient, the food is the highest quality I’ve ever purchased and it’s zero hassle. It auto-pays and keeps all my preferences automatically, but if you need to edit your order, they send an email a couple days ahead so you are reminded. I never have to think about my dogs food again, right as I’m running out, I get home from work and it’s on my porch. It’s such a good price and the free delivery is amazing. My dog loves the food, she has never had a single problem. My only downside is that I didn’t find them sooner!!

I explored this new place for my three dogs. I love their ingredient list: not too long or too complicated. The first five ingredients are always very good. The subscription is nice with a 10% discount. The food was delivered to my front door of a gated 8th floor apartment! Customer service is amazing!

My dog loves the lamb recipe. The cost is reasonable, and the free home delivery is so convenient and makes the price a good deal. I got a couple samples at their stand at my local farmer's market to see which recipe to order. My dog enjoyed all of them, and we've been ordering his food from Lake Erie Pet Food for over a year now.

This place is the best. I met one of the owners (the nicest guy) at the Westside flea last summer and decided to give it a try. My very picky dog Colby really enjoys this food. I was constantly switching brands trying to find something he likes, and wasn't allergic to. The lamb recipe is perfect for him and is a high quality fresh food. Seriously can't get any better, and can't beat the price and free delivery! If you have a dog and like supporting local businesses, this is it!

We have a picky eater when it comes to dry dog food. He *usually* eats his food, but has never been enthusiastic about it, no matter what premium brand, no matter how we dress it with wet food, etc. After he seemed to enjoy the sample we got for running in the City Dogs 5k, we decided to try Lake Erie. He was really intrigued when I brought the bag home, and when I held the included scoop down to let him smell/taste the food, he gobbled it up immediately and became very excited. We're still mixing it with his old food, and so far he's emptied his bowl every time and is excited for every meal for the first time ever. I highly recommend Lake Erie Pet Food!

We have been feeding your Chicken and Brown Rice cat food to our cat since we got her. She's about 1.5 years old now and the comment we get most often is people remarking how they've never pet a softer cat or seen one with such bright eyes!But that's just the beginning... We recently rescued her sister, a 3 year old cat who was only fed deli turkey and shredded cheese in her previous home (I wish I was joking.) We got her home expecting to need to transition her slowly to real cat food, but no! Right away she was chowing down on your cat food like it was her job. Her coat has gone from straw like texture to almost as soft and silky as our kittens in less than a month. I can't thank you enough for the impact your food has had on her health, energy, and overall wellbeing.We are loyal Lake Erie Pet Food customers for life!

Now that my dog has been eating this for weeks she has lost weight and her coat looks amazing! It has always been challenging dealing with her dandruff but it is completely gone! Heard about this local business from a student newsletter "Hoofbeats"at CWRU's Physician Assistant program and ordered a free sample. I was glad to see free samples to try. It was delivered as promised and our cat sniffed and gobbled! I ordered more through the online system for pick up. It was ready right by the door. Great service. Great online ordering platform. Great website. I even love the no plastic packaging and bags. Thank you LEPC!
