After giving all my dogs info on the phone when scheduling an appointment. I brought her to the scheduled appointment only to be confronted with the same questions and with her stating "you want her shaved." I said no and explained again what cut I wanted. She then said that's going to take longer than an hour. I notice a quick change her demeanor. I said yes it will. This was already discussed when I scheduled the appointment. She throws in the dogs age which is 16 (miniature poodle)and how she wasn't going to torture the dog (information that I gave her prior on the phone when scheduling.) As if taking a little extra time to do a nice job is torture. As apposed to a quick buzz cut and money grab. She then added that at this point in my dogs life that looks don't matter only her comfort. A fact I would agree to if my dog was decrepit and unruly but she is not. The fact that the first thing you commented on was that it was going take more than an hour tells me you just don't want to do the work and everything else is just an excuse to make you feel justified in your decision to not honor the appointment which I believe you forgot about due to asking for the same information already given on the phone 2 weeks prior. I said I wasn't going to argue with her and she said she wasn't going to torture my dog. I added no, you just don't want to do the work and I left. Thanks for wasting my time.

Karen groomed my precious Teddy Bear. He is very elderly, and, as a rescue we are unaware of his real name or past life. So, as you might expect he has special needs, and Karen was so very kind to him.He came out with a very short clip, which is what I requested because he has a tendency to lick his fur which causes digestive issues.He was calm and very happy and relaxed so I know he enjoyed it.By the way, I just waited for him, it was about an hour.That is much easier on an older dog than having to be there 3 and even4 hours.Teddy Bear gives Grooming Tales 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Grooming Tales has been fantastic with our animals! They are very flexible and very accommodating whenever we bring our dog. We used to have to take him to the vet for nails but Grooming Tales has a special touch. We also have an older cat that is delicate and they groom with such great care.

The first time we went here it was great and our dog looked awesome. The past two times he has come home with weird/very uneven cuts, although he smelled nice, and he’s come home and been terrified of other dogs and people (he normally LOVES other dogs and people). Normally he is super friendly but when he comes home from this place he’s scared and barks a lot when other dogs gets near him. He also didn’t have his ears cleaned or nails trimmed which they did the first visit but never again (we specified we’d like them to do this). We’ve never had this experience at the other grooming places we’ve gone to so we’re choosing to not go back here. We were just hoping to support our local neighborhood groomers.

The best kept secret...they know how to clip all breeds. I've been taking my Standard Poodles here for over 10 tears, and they always do a good job.

I will not be taking my dog back here anytime soon. Terrible job on a complete grooming. They should be embarrassed of the job they did on my pup. Uneven cut and the shampoo job was terrible. Ears still dirty and he smelled when I got him back. Trimming around his ears was totally uneven from one side to the other. Maybe they had a bad day but if they couldn’t see that this was a very bad grooming job then they should not be charging what they do claiming to be dog groomers.

I recently took my dog here for the first time and had a good experience. They actually squeezed me in first thing in the morning which was super surprising and nice of them! I have a 25 pound mixed breed with really bad shedding hair and he has been in need of a grooming since the pandemic started. I actually have clippers for him and have done it myself before but really just haven’t wanted to. I felt really bad because I mistakenly told the receptionist the wrong hair length for my dog and got home, realized it was not as short as I typically get it on him, called and they took him back in right away and fixed him super fast! I felt bad for the inconvenience I put them through with that length mistake but was so happy they were so accommodating to fix it that fast. Overall, very pleased with my little guy’s haircut and I really liked the groomers here!

I have just moved to the Cleveland area and was very nervous having bad experiences with groomers in the past. I tried Grooming Tails and I will never go anywhere else! The staff were extremely friendly and did a fantastic job with my long-haired dog as well as the nails of my short hair. My husband and I are so excited to find this great place!

This place is incredible! My dog has so much anxiety and they were so easy with her even though she was so difficult. Even with a mishap they stayed professional and refused to give up on her. I’m am so grateful for this place and their staff.

The first time Sadie was groomed at Grooming tales, it was wonderful. She came out looking like the Australian Labradoodle she is. On Sat, Aug 14 her second appt., her face now is that of a poodle. I was so disappointed I could have cried. When I was called for a pickup, I was told that her ears were plucked which I did not ask for nor was I notified that she was going to do it. . As a matter of fact, the Vet said this is not good because it is painful. Sadie is 6 mo old.Groomer said she was shaking her head which was why she did it. Yes, she is now shaking her head and going to the Vet tomorrow. She was not shaking her head before I took her in for grooming.

After going to another Groomer and having a tremotetulus experience I was very skeptical about trying anyone else but my local Petsmart for a trim, but I saw a neighbors dog and inquired where they went. I took my dog Frank a Shih Tzu to Grooming Tails and they did a terrible job. I am devastated. I called them and left my name and number to expess my disatisfaction with his grooming and have yet to hear back from them. I hope and pray that this does not happen to any other pets.

Took my puppy in for first cut and she absolutely destroyed his beautiful coat. She trys to give all dogs the same cut. That's impossible. Notice she has Huskies. They involve no grooming. SHE IS NOT A GROOMER. SHE IS A COAT BUTCHERER.
