A basement storm window blew off one windy night, so I took it to the Kamms Ace for repair. They must have gotten a lot of windows to repair because they said it would be a week to 10 days. But they called just 2 days later! They're really friendly and efficient. Good business to under-promise and over-deliver. It's so convenient to have a great hardware store so close to home.

Went in with a new $5 coupon I received and got Drano. Loved only paying $1.72 after coupon. Also found on website a 20 lb. bag of bird seed and it's much cheaper than what's sold in the store. Nice thing is can order and have shipped to the store and no fee.

The worst customer experience I've ever experienced with puerto rican employee, boy do your job you actually don't deserve this job. I went to Ace on detroit ave spend $390 and I got what I needed the employees there were awesome.

They gave us a floor model snowblower. It didnt even have a manual. Who knows what other parts are missing as its already out of the box. Drove to the store only for them to tell me its already assembled and they cant disassemble it so it wont fit in my car and that Ill need to come back with a truck. Had to make a fuss so that they would deliver it to our address 40 mins away. I didnt ask for them to assemble it but in reality what they gave me was a floor model at full price. They are dishonest and incredibly rude. I would go somewhere else. Big regret ever working with them. I would not go there for any high ticket items.

I like Ace because it's close to my house and usually has what I need. It's a quick stop for me when I need a part. The price isn't always the best but it is convenient. Use the Ace rewards or coupons to help with the cost. Very knowledgeable manager Edwin.

Came in today to get a copy of a key made. Was greeted by a very friendly employee who asked me if he could help. He cut a copy of my key and I was out the door in 5 minutes for less than $5. Fantastic service. Had previously tried both Home Depot and Walmart & neither could make a copy of my key. VERY satisfied with AH!

The lack of personal assistance is very disheartening. I bring an example in of what I need, I get told Aisle 6. I flounder for well over 20 minutes and try to get ANYONE to help me. I finally snag some body and am told, he's helping another person. He actually was stocking. I tell the cashier that "I should have went to Home Depot at least I would have been helped there" and she looks at me like she couldn't care less! So much for trying to shop local.

My husband and I have been long-time customers of Ace Hardware at Kamm's Corners, since their opening, also an "Ace Rewards" member. Today, June 17th at approx. 1:25 p.m. my husband tried to exchange a $15.99 gas valve (SKU #40559) because it was the wrong valve for a different gas valve. The incorrect valve was bought less than an hour before. His receipt is time stamped 12:35 p.m. He also wanted to buy at least $100 of additional merchandise. After not being able to scan the bar code, the clerk called a woman associate (maybe the manager?) to see if she could get the bar code to scan properly. When she could not, she accused my husband of trying to scam Ace, that he did not buy the valve there -- when in fact, he had the receipt and was there -- verified by the clerk -- less than an hour before. We own two houses in West Park and are a regular long-time customer. The associate, and unfortunately, my husband did not get her name, handled this situation very, very poorly. We will never shop here again.I am editing my review because the owner contacted my husband and more than rectified the situation. I have since shopped there regularly and consistently had the best customer experiences, as recently as last Sunday, the 20th. I am glad they are in my neighborhood.

I work next store and I just have to say they are great here. I needed assistance with a client that I couldn't get out of a chair. They came over and helped me get this man out of the chair. They went above and beyond. It is a great store.

Steve Hrabak is the best out there and Ace Hardware is very lucky to have him! I was doing an installation of a bathroom sink and sent my father to get parts, as it turned out I had to go back. As I am not a plumber I tried my best to explain what the situation was but to no avail. Steve graciously went ABOVE and BEYOND to actually COME TO MY HOME and see what I needed, helped me to understand and I went back to Ace to get the part. I can’t tell you ENOUGH about how thankful I was to have had his expertise! Customer service is few and far between these days, however, Steve exemplifies the true meaning of that. Thank you,thank you Steve 😊 Truly a star employee and a bigger human being!

Ace Hardware is a gem of a hardware store. They may not be as big as the blue or orange stores, bit for what they fall short of in size, they make up for in convenience and high quality staff. Ace Hardware sometimes gives the impression of being high prices, but that is not the case. Ace Hardware is extremely competitive with the big boxes. They have a variety of tools without the excessive number of brands. You can get in, get what you need and know you're still getting a quality tool backed with a quality warranty. I like Ace and like giving my money to a local store. I hope you will join me in giving them your business too.

This hardware store has wonderful gift ideas. Beautiful things including bird food food...feeders...and gift items. So it is fun to go there. I bought a really beautiful Christmas wreath there 1/2off which was attached to a weathered window frame.

Came in three times to have them match paint...1. Came in with a paint chip from my porch...they mismatched it.2. Came in with a sample of the mismatched paint to get more of it so I could at least finish the job in a consistent color...they mismatched that.3. Came in to explain how they messed up twice, the "manager" who had no authority apparently tried to come up with every excuse as to how this was not their fault, then eventually offered a free can, which was, admittedly, generous. She then proceeded to make my EXTERIOR paint color in an INTERIOR base. When I pointed this out she indicated that she did want to call the manager that actually had some authority to deal with this. This was after an hour of dealing with her.3 tries, 3 fails. Don't bother with this store. Went to Home Depot for some other paint and they matched it perfectly. As much as I liked the idea of having a store like this in the neighborhood, it's not worth the hassle.

I love this ace store! Brenna, Danielle and Avery are so helpful and go ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty with their top notch customer service. Long story short they fixed my sink nozzle thingie with the part I got at the store since I was clueless as to what I needed let alone how to do. They didnt have to do that and the fact they did this for me was truly above and beyond. I really appreciate it, thank you all! You dont see top notch service like this these days anymore, it was truly refreshing. I hope Ace recognizes you for you dedication in helping customers and providing an outstanding customer experience. My sink is working perfect now, thank you so much!!!

Used too work at E&h ace hardware names Avery and my manager at that point and time was Steve everyone there when I started working helped me obtain confidence in myself they loved me as an employee and honestly don’t know why I left ... I moved back to west palm Florida and now it’s just hard for me to obtain work really want to go back and be an employee because there all nice and great people I loved my job and my co workers there if I could I would move back but right now I don’t have a job so I have no income to even get a plane ticket or a place to stay up there

Prices are significantly higher for simple things. I only used these sites when I absolutely have to. The people are always nice and helpful. The stores are always clean and we'll organized.

Very Disappointed!!I purchased 10 bags of Scott's Triple Shred Black Mulch.Lost color within hours of mulching flower bed.I will be contacting SCOTT'S for a full refund!I do not recommend buying Scott's Triple Shred Mulch!Nothing but Poor Reviews!!
