Very rude employees. The store is never open or they just have the doors locked all the time. They have a sign that says “hiring” but don’t hiring anyone. They are never fully stocked. Bad customer service!! The employees complain about working. They might as well close the store and put Family dollar there. Managers always have an attitude!! Literally the worst dollar general. When they are open I am kinda satisfied but other than that, I don’t recommend going here. Either they hiring new managers or shut down.

I frequent this store and I’m so happy the old manager Angel came back, she’s so pleasant to deal with and makes my experience a pleasure each and every-time. The store always seems so full and organized, I find everything I need with ease. So nice to see our youth thriving with the proper guidance of employment and leadership. Will definitely continue to come here and bring a few friends with me.

The app has not been updated to reflect there's no online order and pickup here.The young man working tried but it's disappointing that new employees are not trained to do these orders.I went back and now there's no tap pay either.The other worker was not professional at all.What happen to being professional???I won't be going back.

Went in tonight and bought about $50 worth of stuff. The cashier was trying to fast talk and my husband couldn’t understand a word she was saying. Meanwhile she was double charging everything. Don’t wanna accuse somebody of something but her running her mouth seemed like a pretty good distraction for an overcharging scam. Then when the drawer doesn’t balance at the end of the night, they pocket the difference. Seems pretty likely to me because how many times are you gonna charge somebody twice “by accident”? Seems sus. Then when my husband caught the extra charges, he turned around and told her to reverse the charges and issue a refund. She said she would only do a couple of them, despite the fact that he was there with all the bags, he didn’t even leave the store and she refused to refund all the extra charges. So be careful at this place, it’s not the first time it happened. Now we’ve gotta submit a dispute to our credit card company. Just keep an eye on your cashier and don’t let them distract you or you’ll pay almost double for everything. I’ve got copies of the receipts, the original one where we got charged twice a few times and then one with a $4 refund 🙄

I go in this place everyday almost. The Male Manager has great customer service skills, always communicating and smiling!! He makes good suggestions on items too. Its a younger girl that works and she also is great with customers and always friendly. All the staff today were cool and so nice and in a holiday spirit.

I was ok because. I went to buy some eggs that they were selling for $1.25 and that is what the sign showed in front of the eggs and when I got ready to check out the cash register charged me a $1.50. So the young man working there said that the sign was a error and the correct price is $1.50 and I asked can I get the eggs for $1.25 because that is what the sign said. He told me no because the Manager would be mad and there was nothing he could do. I just paid for them and left. Someone at this dollar general is not doing there job.

I gave this D.G. location 3 ⭐'s for a couple of reasons-- It was a bit bare and what they did have was little cluttered, messy/unorganized. There were also TONS of boxes stacked in piles and on box-carts alllllll throughout the store that were in need of being stocked. Because of this, almost all of the aisles were either "dead-ends", difficult to maneuver through, and some were ever entirely unaccessible.Here in the city (or should I say"hood" lol) I have come across D.G.'s that were waaay worse off than this one was; which is why I am rating this location with ⭐⭐⭐.

I went to 2 Dollie Generals Stores Superior @ 51 looked like they were closing the door. I went to 79 St Clair. The cashier was friendly The store was stocked an I bought more than I neededI went to 55 an Central an I observed a cashier helping a man in a wheelchair because he couldn't reach a lot of items. Its things like this that make Dollar general s good store .The Superior store needs more help. When Monica store manager the store was as great as the other two. Superior store is right across from the highrise. They need to do better . The other 2 stores 55 an 79 deserve a A rating and Superior Ave deserve a D an it's my home store. First impression the store was a mess customer service very disappointed cashier was on phone while working was told the restroom had not been working for month's even the worker's had to use restrooms across the street. I am disabled the medication I'm on has me urinating frequently and I was told this. I'm not understanding because when I shop out in trumbul county I don't have this problem. The only reason I was in this store was my sister said let's give the inner city some business. When I shop with white people they may not like me but if I'm spending my money they serve me with a smile I get to use the restroom. So I won't be shopping Dollar General PERIOD until these matters are fixed in thr BLACK AND BROWN COMMUNITY.

Never clean always disorganized except for one young lady who actually spoke to me very discrutaled full of attitude employees. Pointless using app for coupons because never stocked usually in the isles still packed in boxes. Couldn't find basket for items had to use one of the many empty boxes stacked up around the store. Manager visibly frustrated stressed out . Coupon items that I could find rang up half value of coupon. Checking out is torture if more than 5 people in line. These aren't observations from just a single visit but over a couple of weeks. Couldn't speak to the manager about coupon issues because it would have held up the already 15 min wait line for the other people to check out. Just know what to expect if you choose this location. It's a obvious no one cares location!

They have a wonderful arrangements of art supplies. The difficulty was there was no change. If You didn't have the exact change it desired not to use a credit card, You could not make a purchase. 😔

The store is clean and well stocked. I called ahead to see if they had an item that I was looking for and they were awesome and pulled it to hold for me. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Store is pleasant and very clean. Organised and Customer service is friendly. But I would suggest having an armed security guard present. Store is located in high crime area so for the protection of employees please be advised that a armed security guard present is necessary.

It's okay they just always have boxes of merchandise all over making it hard to get around. I know this should be a good thing but empty shelves an boxes of products everywhere aren't a good look I don't want to rummage thru no boxes or fight to get around the store it makes it look junkie

Literally the worst dollar store in the whole city. Never open, never has anything in the store and they out here closing earlier every night than they are suppose to. Might as well close down the whole store at this point. Loosing out on all that money. From me alone they have lost out on over $400. No point in running a store if you can’t run it properly

I was not in pressed the guy in front of me was told he had an accent and needed to take off his maskso they could understand him and everybody else could understand them but the people behind the counter. That I was told I couldn't make a purchase cuz I was using cash and they don't have change so I needed to leave.

The line was all the way down the aisle wrapped around the corner one cashier that was moving slow like she didn't want to be there she was offensive to customers that was smelling to good by spraying air freshener all around them

Unfortunately I hate to say that in the black community the shelves are notstocked and the majority of items that you need sugar flour milk those items have all went up some as much as a dollar more then what it costed a few months ago unacceptable

Nice store in the neighborhood the employees are decent on most hood days, store isles can be messy and unorganized so make sure your product price is on the right shelf before going to register.
