SHOUT OUT to this DG employee whom I've seen be welcoming and working to keep the area clean! I have been in this neighborhood nearly 12 years and have seen many different workers come and go here. Although there have been nice ones I have came across at times, she deserves this review. There are a couple of other ladies too that provide good customer service, so Thank Y'all😁. *Note, she did give me permission to take and post this pic.

Terrible....I believe that the store needs a new manager as well as a general manager. You stand in line for 15 mins and you don't even receive a hello and thank you for shopping at Dollar General. Last but not least the store ALWAYS LOOKS TERRIBLE I HOPE THAT ITS NOT BECAUSE OF THE AREA THAT THEY DON'T CARE.

If I could give a ZERO I would. Some manager that calls herself BOSS LADY really wanna get slapped with her bad attitude. They have sale items and then when u get to the counter it’s a higher price. She was upset cause she had to do price changes in the system. This has happened numerous times. Wears a scarf on her head just GHETTO!! The store is filthy and all she does is smoke cigarettes right outside the store. It’s also a white older man that works there and he only speaks to white customers. Very racist!! Never will I come back in this nasty store again!!

Just spoke with another customer and they have came here at 8pm for the last week and so have I. It’s been closed at 8 for atleast the past week. This is ridiculous. Then, when we ask an employee why they close at 8pm now we’re told “that’s the time they’re told to close.” Many other locations have told us that every store is open until 9pm now. Every other location is actually open and until 9pm.Store #9110 on Kinsman and E91st, would not recommend to anyone. Unprofessional, rude, not worth wasting your time.

Love this Dollar General. The store manager Monica is the best , and she always makes you feel welcome. The store is clean and organized and the Dollar General app. is great! I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line, and am usually in and out of there with whatever I need in less than 10 minutes. This store is way better than family Dollar. By far:)

I like a few of the workers there. Always in good mood and willing to help. However, the female managers have nasty attitudes and are very disrespectful. The shelves are damn near always empty but carts with the full boxes of items are blocking the aisle. To move the store will be a great inconvenience to my community. There need to be a great change in training for managers with attitude and costumer service skills. Other than that, I love this store. I wish you guys will bring back the sale on diapers 2 for $20 cases. I loved that deal. Lol. Happy holidays

The cashier short changed me and never admitted that he didn't have any change. Do like this store but hate to day this but this store needs to be closed. Yes the world going this store should not make it till 2021. Alot of things needs to change and if you can't keep the store open every day and workers who show up to work. This store haven't even been clean nor full stocked. This is sad. I'll put gas in my car to drive to another store before I shop her again.

It's not bad, but over crowded in the front of the store. Bathrooms used to be public, but now they're saying it's not. Most of the staff aren't bad. I do wish they were better staffed to have more than one line open most of the of the time.

This store was a disaster. Stuff all over the floor. Looked like people just swiped across a shelf and threw stuff down. Couldn't even walk through aisles. Worse than Walmart in the Steelyard. Actually worst store I've EVER walked into. Will not go back. Should've known being one block from the projects

If I could I'd give a Negative Star🙁 Not very inviting, Not CLEAN, I was ready to go when I walked in.I only stopped in because it was close to work and I was pressed for time.. Not alot of Options, basically bare, didnt have what I was looking for.. Very UnorganizedOnly gave 1 star because I was greeted when I walked in.

It's so bad, they might have to close down and regroup!!!!Yesterday, was closed down when I stopped by at 6 p.m. Closed down early day before yesterday too!!!The neighborhood needs this store. If they think it's worth it, they have to hire almost every position there!WOW!!!

I filled out an application for employment this past Saturday. I went in the store to check on the hiring process for the store on Monday, the manager wasn't there. Today I went back in and asked for a manager to check on the status of my application and was met by a short brown skinned woman with a frowned face, a head scarf, and a horrible disposition. I asked the young lady who was the manager about the hiring process and she meanly said "I'm not checking no applications until next week" I then asked "Would you like to take down my name and number"? She pointed to the security guard and said "Give it to him, he'll take it." I walked out with the same horrible spirit she had on me... I don't know if I even want to consider that job anymore for employment. This is the reason people don't like coming to this store, or in this neighborhood for that matter. Dollar General needs some serious work on 55th before they get ran out of business not only by the thieves, but the workers too 🤷🏽‍♀️

This particular store was very poorly run. Entire store was a mess and the isles were often blocked by product or carts. The staff were extremely friendly at the counter, but the store wasn't well maintained enough to give more stars.

Went there sat for some balloons for my aunties birthday and when the manger ask can someone blow up balloon s all the coworkers expect one the one with the braids tryed to help ...too many lazy young people there!! Manger is very nice ...

They have dollar cleaning products and their soda is to expensive and Boxes is always in the aisles i Love the 2 for 16 or 18 Diapers the clearance clothes are to much it only 1.00 off what they originally sold them for but the store is convenient for the Neighborhood they need to Hire outside help to unload Merchandise they only have one cashier and two people unloading boxes no wiggle room to shop cluttered aisles

Cluttered, unorganized, and never really have a variety to choose from. And they run out of popular products for long extended period of time. I shop there simply due to how close they are. When I have the time I prefer going to the DG on W. 117th. A MUCH BETTER STORE!

I give this location a 2. The day and night managers both have crappy attitudes. The only reason top go there is the DG sales, not the customer service or warmth from the workers. The store's not organized, they don't know their sales or products. Worst DG I've been to. And I'm a couponer so ice actually been to a few in the Cleveland area.

The "security" is rude and very confrontational. Claims to be a "police officer" but if you ask for his badge number (never saw a badge) and his name, he refuses to give it to you. The store is not a professional establishment. Will not shop here ever again.

Such a mess. You know how stores get their truck delivery? It looks like they just dumped the entire truck right in the store. But hey, even though one register didn't work and there was a dozen people in line, they had my screwdriver and my snacks for the road.
