It's 2024 and it's absolutely unacceptable to not have network in a storefront. It's a complete dead zone from the parking lot, and all the way into the store and all around. What if one of your clients was having an emergency and needed to dial out? Or someone was trying to reach them? What of a shooting in the store?There's guest wifi but it requires a code, and none of the employees have it. Customer service lady says she has requested it many times for customers, but management refuses to give it. Yeah, I don't know why folks continue to shop here, and accept such mediocre environment, but I'll never step foot again in here.

12.18.2022 - The customer service here is average. Not always good not always bad. However, a lot of the cashiers move incredibly slow, unfortunately. I would want to use the self check out, but it is a drag for me. When I have so much stuff and I need to remove it off of the bagging area, the machine constantly tells me to put it back on, and I can’t ring up until I do. I understand inflation, but Daves has been abnormally high for years. Most of the time they do have things well stocked however. It has been a few times throughout the years that the Employees have closed. The doors. May be about 10 minutes early then they’re posted actual close time.

I've added videos and pictures so the viewer can get a real feel for what it's like on the inside It's cool I hate how they do there chilli they should sale that all year around and of purse I hate there prices but that has nothing to do with this review as this review pertains to the overall customers experience not the companies business model so it's nice clean stocked has what you need for any good ole American dinner lunch or breakfast.they have 5th third bank inside a pharmacy and you can get ”RTA” Bus passes here so that's convenient and there is a ”RedBox” on site so that's dope to

The chicken 🍗 I purchased was terrible 😞. It was very dry, hard and overcooked. The food quality is not good at all, then got the nerve to increase your prices. Dave’s need to step their game up!!!

I am so UNHAPPY with the Customer Service in the Hot Food section of your Store!!! There is NEVER A SIGN telling you what type of fish they are selling, and if you asked them they are so NASTY AND MAD that you asked, they say “ its 3 different types of fish which one would you like!! I then will say what type are they and then they’ll say I don’t know😡 This is NOT acceptable to the customer. So is it Possible that maybe they can put a sign saying what type of fish they are selling that way people don’t have to bother them asking what type they have!! This has happened to me four times in the last three months I am writing to get some type of cooperation in your customer service area this is on acceptable!!!! Thank You

Went in on the 22nd Bought Items but One of my Items was Spoiled the Eggnog, I threw away my Receipt. Not Happy At All, I Don't have Money to Throw Away like I did that Eggnog. Bottom of The Barrel of Food being Sold. Very Disappointed. Not the First time this Has happened. Also the Frozen Chicken Liver was Bad Also. I Do Have Pictures of Thee Chicken Liver.

HelloDave's placed an ad in week of 8/27/20215 lbs bag of chicken wings 19.95 or 19.99.The picture shown in the ads looks to be whole wings, however; that's not what is inside of the bag. Chicken pieces, maybe 2 whole wings. Don't purchase I threw the entire bag away. Sad Dave's would sale anything this bad. Not concerned at the 2 whole wings in the bag. IT WAS THE QUALITY OF MEAT. NASTY, DIRTY, FEATHERS, COLOR of the meat!!!! Unable to clean, just threw the bag away. PLEASE DON'T BUY. YES I KNOW Things are hard....hang in there!!!

Liked this location 10 x's better than the one on Harvard. Bigger store, more variety of selections and cleaner. Cashier could have been more friendly. She did not greet us when we approached the register or after our purchase. Seemed like she's just there to collect a check. I will not let her attitude take away from my overall experience. I will be returning to shop there again.

I have visited many of the Dave's supermarkets throughout the years and for he most part am pleased with quality of products and personable, friendly service. EXCEPT at this location. Today and on several other occasions I felt that the cashiers are rude and discourteous. They rarely greet you when you are in line, don't smile, and hand you your change and receipt without so much as a thank you, have a good one, or any type of common exchange. I sometimes drive further away to another store to avoid this one but decided to stop in because I was so close in the area. Unfortunately, I got the usual type of treatment despite smiling at and being pleasant to the cashier. Anyone can have a bad day but this is consistent at this store with many different employees, not just one.

You have some of the most courteous individuals I've seen employed by any one place. They are pleasant and helpful. Your store shelves are allways stocked with produce and fruits looking fresh and meats and seafood as well.The one issue i have against your store is your markups. Your prices are easily 50 percent or more marked up from other stores I go to. This is insulting because I deem you a neighborhood store. A number of residents are on fixed incomes. Yet I have seen a difference of 50 cents to dollars more of what you charge for non-sale items from other stores. I just don't feel that's right. Those neighbors helped establish you.

A little hard to navigate for a full grocery shopping experience, as far as aisle structure and moving past other carts when crowded, so I only go for quick grabs. Herold's potato salad unfortunately costs more than going to the actual store, however, I appreciate the convenience of being able to pick up from here outside of the Herold's store's hours. The individual/quick checkout area is convenient and placed smack dab in the middle, which is a lot better than off to the side like Giant Eagle stores. But Dave's does cost more than Giant Eagle in some ways. This location overall is good.

I have always had a good experience at the Daves at Harvard and Lee. The store is clean and generally I can find what I need. Their meats are always fresh and good. The staff is friendly and helpful.Today Tyler was extremely helpful with my checkout experience.

Shelves are stocked more than any other grocery store.A nice variety and selection of items. Each day of the week they have an item on sale (for instance on Tuesdays bananas are .39 cents a pound).The management are always there to help you if need be. The managers are also very friendly.Unlike most grocery stores they also a lot of registers open when you are ready to check out.They offer lottery, money orders, bill payment, deli, butchers, bakery that makes fresh bread daily along with cookies, cakes and a wide assortment of desserts.

The store was clean and nicely laid, but I couldn't do the shopping I intended, as the motorized carts were no where near the entrance. I got only the necessities, bread, milk, eggs and when the cashier asked about my experience was when I learned that the electric carts were by the exit. Here's a tip...Make room in front of the Gift shop (by the entrance) for those carts!!

Trying to pay for my merchandise at self checkout and the computer wouldn't let me. It kept saying "see cashier". There was a group of 3 workers in the corner. So I waved at them after 10 minutes of waiting to see if they would come do their job and attend us customers. The pregnant one came with a huge attitude and told us to read. We told her it kept saying see cashier....needless to say...she was no help what so ever. Best drive 30 minutes to the one in the west side then deal with these type of ppl.

Great prices on meat and that's really it. The staff are usually slacking off and some of them smell heavily like pot. I don't mean a faint odor, I mean it smells like they've hot boxed an entire department. Keep that at home, you work here and not everyone wants to be subjected to that nasty, skunk roadkill smell.

Great place to grocery shop. The hot foods are good, the lines for the hot food is sometimes long. The service is not always the best, the workers act like they are irritated most of the time. The price on their bolthouse smoothies is lower than most grocery stores.

I had a bad experience at this store recently. Cop/Security Guard profiled me and treated me like I stole something. Please fix these problems or else they will continue to lose loyal and faithful customers.

The hot food section needs work. The fish and chicken looked like it was sitting in the warmer too long. The fish was over cooked and chicken needed to be cleaned. The chicken looked like it was fried with majority of its feathers. Save your the headache and just cook the food yourself.

I was at the deli at 5:30, the woman said the deli is closed. So I took out my phone and called the store and asked what time the deli closes, she said 6pm. I said I'm stand at the deli and they said they are closed. They hung up

Reasonable reasonable Dave has always been a place I love to shop the atmosphere is so friendly their meats are very fresh they have reasonable prices this is just my opinion sometimes they don't have enough cashiers to ring up the groceries but other than that the people that work there are very pleasant has good manners if you ask them a question where something is located they will show you so I'm five stars up for day

Good experience but when I check my receipt I was overcharged I bought 4 dairyman's juices and I was charged for 5 just have to be aware of what they scan because they overscan sometime. The parking lot need repairs or redone the slant parking is awful

Dave's is clean well decorated the produce is fresh. I have no complaints. I did self checkout but a cashier and manager were readily available.

Cashiers there are a joke. They're so busy talking to each other they don't even greet you... My last visit I had to listen to a conversation about the kind of bras the cashiers wear and when the one ringing my merchandise finished she didn't even tell me how much my purchase was - I had to look at the screen to find out myself. And don't even get me started on the bagging. I'm somewhat ocd and I put like with like on the belt. They throw everything and anything in a bag till it rips and rarely do they double. I was a cashier for 3 years so maybe I'm over critical but even if I wasn't I'd still be dissatisfied. Anyway other than the attitude of the staff (not all, but majority) not a bad store.

The hot foods was not good today. The wing dings were old and hard as a rock and the fish was real greasy. I had to throw it away. Dave's need to do better in their hot food department.

Convenient to get to by walking. Too bad it is getting to be so expensive for many items.@Sheila Grayer The markups may be due to some factors, such as they use Giant Eagle to either deliver and/or stock their shelves, plus security is an added expense as well as having a monopoly in the neighborhoods they are in.

I ordered a large hot food order for a party of about 150 people. I wish I got the lady's name who helped me, but I was a little overwhelmed with all my party planning. When I picked my food items up, she was very helpful and made sure I had help getting everything to my car. It was a stressful day for me getting the party together, but her friendly attitude really helped put me at ease. Thank you! Additionally, I had originally called Giant Eagle to put in my order because they were closer to my house. I have yet to receive a call back from them, so kudos to Daves for being on top of things.
