I am Deaf, I just moved back to Cleveland from Columbus. I speak clear, Knows ASL, Not Certified Deaf Interpreter ("D.I. role to break down English in American Sign Language"), Advocate that Advocate anyone in need of resources and know their ADA (American Disability Act Rights) that is self employed working remotely, Cleveland chapter President of National Black Deaf Advocate, Co-founder of "The Firm LLC. Founder of Definitely Can LLC., "Founder Clear That LLCand and a former Certified Travel Agent. Today I Googled this CVS website at Downtown location for their hour of operation and looled at their websote for possibly a chat person to get clearfication for this location...Website showspharmacy close at 9am and store close at 10pm and has no chat with a CVS staff.... rushed to CVS believing in the advertisement that was given to me trying to get an prescription that one of my medications is a breathing pump and machine....arrived wheezing and no water fountain...i gave a written note to Loi security guard .. politely he wrote back saying Pharmacy open 9am-6 everyday except Sunday and the store close at 10pm...next wrote to cashier Ms.Marketta CVS cashier asking her to enroll me for the CVS card and asked her to clearficationafter she had me to read her lips..In writing again "You say many comes in after Google gave wrong info? Right?" She wrote Yes because I couldn't understand what she said because lip reading is 20 percent clear and 80 percent NOT CLEAR confused and could see clearly asking 3 times 3 different ways was annoying.... I am Deaf and my voice box isn't broken can speak clearly but it's confuses many assumes I am hearing ...speed walked to this CVS to drop off my prescription, get co-pay cost, enroll for CVS card, and to get clarification on the website.It's a daily social anxiety for me as a Deaf person experiencing the same as usual "Lip reading, person feeling annoyed repeating, break down English fore to understand and most importantly writing to HOPEFULLY receive the proper Consumer instraction...." At the end of the day or before I start the day I get a panic attack worrying on self control myself Educating Hearing individuals Deaf Culture...Was a 4 star then changed to 1 star because I know as usual many assumes I am either lying/not listening, or in rush because of another customer is behind me...False advertising this location website under Google and expecting a positive consumer interaction.... RARELYexperienced any Business or Store or Restaurants responds "Hello my name is...How can I help you".Please update and Provide Sentivity Consumer training to your employee...Huge Thanks to security guard for taking his time to commute to me.Pardon me for schooling this review I've had it.

I've visited this CVS several times and have never had an issue. This includes the pharmacy. I usually pick up my mom's prescriptions every other week and have been served by different people each time. They all provide excellent customer service, and the transaction is quick and easy with no wait. It is a little "dingy" inside, but it's what one should expect from a CVS in Downtown Cleveland.

It was easy to find what I was looking for. Their staff were ready to help me out with my search. The items are neatly arranged and easily accessible. The pharmacy is located at the back of the store. Checkout process was easy and quick.

Photo machine is down. One person working the register. One person working the pharmacy. No one answers the phone, it just rings. When I got to the pharmacy after being on hold for an hour—the pharmacy employee was EXTREMELY rude. She rushed the person in front of me who was dropping off a thank you gift from a CVS supported charity. She proceeded to be rude to me after that. I just wanted a prescription switched to a pharmacy close to me. She acted like she didn’t have time to do anything and I wouldn’t get my medication. If someone had answered the phone, could’ve saved me a trip and rude experience. Don’t come to this cvs if you can help it

Literally THE WORST service I have ever had from a pharmacy. I never had problems at a pharmacy, even in the most busy area of New York City. They push back on everything. It takes days to get your prescriptions filled. They give you a hard time for needing prescription coupons processed and are irritated you are not paying out of pocket. Even when it’s a major hundreds of dollars difference. I work in healthcare and I understand how busy it is. But I will go out of my way to ensure my patients are getting taken care of. As if getting healthcare isn’t difficult enough- cvs (and specifically this one) is creating boundaries to patient access. And the pharmacy does not want to do their work.

I have been belittled and made fun of by the workers here. They are so mean and rude to all customers - including the pharmacists. I’ve had a really hard time switching pharmacies and every time I call I literally get verbally abused on the phone. Insane - avoid at all costs

Very unprofessional and unhelpful. I had a vaccine appointment scheduled at one CVS. They didn’t have any vaccines available, so they sent me to this CVS where they said I would be accepted as a walk in. The pharmacist at the second CVS wouldn’t administer the vaccine without an appointment despite my appointment at the other store. What a waste of time. They weren’t even busy. Just rude. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere.

Blind customer: I visited while passing through town. Entrance has automatic sliding doors. Once inside, turn right for register area. Location had two cashiers assisting customers. I was greeted by staff and offered assistance finding items. Staff person was kind and demonstrated experience shopping with/escorting blind customers. Cashier immediately extended elbow for navigating store and gave excellent description of upcoming turns and items on each aisle. I was easily able to pick up and purchase my three items. Staff were very friendly and professional.

2 stars instead of 1 because the pharmacy is great. Never had a problem with them. The rest of the store, however, is a mess. No one is ever at the register, employees are rude, and shelves are empty. They wouldn't let me return something even though I had a receipt. I walked to the CVS down the street at 1400 E 9th and made the transaction without an issue. If the pharmacy there was open on the weekends I would change everything over.

I stepped into the pharmacy before six o 'clock, and there was a man in front of me. When he done, was over six o 'clock 2 minutes, they pulled down the iron door and said they closed, and then turned to chat. How lame! I just wanted to get a prescription for COVID. The symptoms made me very miserable. The pharmacist just said coldly, come back tomorrow when the door opens. Rotten to the core!

Went there at 6:15pm on a Monday and as we were going in, an employee got on the intercom and was like "attention shoppers, we are closing". Then he turned to us and said "we are closed". Wanted us to leave immediately. No further explanation. The posted hours were until 10pm. I just wanted a toothbrush.

I use the Pharmacy services here and have never had an issue. I get text notifications for when my prescription is filled, which is really convenient. I like the location in proximity to my apartment. Depending on when you go, lines can get a bit long, but never a pressing issue. Staff is fine, not overly friendly, but professional in my experiences.

Update:I used the pharmacy service and it is good. I get text notifications on my phone when my prescription is ready and I don't have to wait too long when I ask to have it while in store............I did not need the pharmacy in here but I'm rating the grocery part of the store.The store is generally clean and organized the staff is nice but somewhat slow sometimes. Though there is that one who is really friendly and helpful; she is one of the nicest people I've met in Cleveland.

I went there Sunday night around 7:30pm looking for something and I was in the back of the store a good 15 minutes and no help. I finally found what I was looking for and went to the cash register. A black women was helping an older lady. The other cashier with red hair saw me and didn't move toward the other cash register until a black guy showed up with cans of beer. They socialized for 5 minutes and I believe she gave him the beer at no charge. She finally ask if she could help me laughing as if she did not see me and oh well to bad. Terrible customer service here!

Pharmacy is a joke. The lead male pharmacist is the laziest and most apathetic worker I've ever met. For over a year they fill scripts I don't even take anymore, even through I tell them multiple times a month to stop filling them. Then they don't fill the ones I actually do need.Just have them delivered from another company.

Excellent pharmacy. My mom goes there and they help her and treat her very well. Mark Pupillo, the head pharmacist, was very kind and helpful. Also, Zanrbia was extremely helpful. We really appreciate their care and dedication !

Worst experience ever at this CVS Pharmacy. I never used the pharmacy on regular basis until recent months and I do not see why would any one want to come back to this Pharmacy except may be for groceries. Recently my wife's doctor told us that he called in prescription to this store - this was Saturday March 18th 2017. So when I came to the store, on Monday March 20th 2017 at 5:45 PM EST but unfortunately I forgot to bring my CVS Caremark Prescription Insurance card and also had to wait first at the Prescription Pick up Counter and then to the Prescription Drop off Counter just because neither the attendant nor the single supposedly trained and educated Pharmacist presented any means or behavior to assist. In the end I left since I would not pay more than my deductible and without insurance card I have. Next day, Tuesday March 21st 2017, I called the Customer Service number at the back of my CVS Caremark Prescription Insurance card and they assured me that my wife who is a dependent on my insurance does not require a separate CVS Caremark card and I can pick her prescription up at the said CVS store. Guess what happens same day after few hours at around 5:30 PM at the store - same two persons - same attendant, and the same pharmacist looks disdainfully. And repeat of the exact same sequence of events, I wait patiently of a tiny bit of time (15-20 mins) at the Prescription Pick up Counter, then tell the same attendant my wife's last and first name and her last name before marriage. And then guess what she still unable to find my wife's records so she again asks me to go over to the Prescription Drop Off desk so that the supposedly well trained pharmacist could help. He carries on filing up pills when a customer (Me) standing right there in front. The attendant comes over to his desk tries to search using my CVS Caremark card and tell me denied for my wife - which shocks me because in the morning CVS Caremark Customer Representative assures all is set for my wife's prescription pick. And on top of this the Pharmacy at this CVS closes at 6 PM EST sharp regardless if there are patients /people (Customers) waiting for help. So time now 5:55 PM EST and I called and got hold of a customer service agent at CVS Caremark who tells me she needs to talk to the Pharmacist to fix - guess what he is fast packed up and ready to pull the shutter down. The attendant kept on saying she cannot talk to the CVS Caremark Customer Representative over my cell phone it needs to be a secure line. I understand all this data privacy laws, I am a data analyst at a hospital and got my university degree on this - what I wanted the attendant to do was take my phone, set a time to call and talk with the CVS Caremark Customer Representative and assure me that they will figure this out and I should come back next day. This kind of irresponsible and lack of professionalism leads to bad customer feedback, less business. This store is at a prime location, but if this is how patient and their family members are treated, closing day is very near for this store. If I could I will give a rating of negative 5. Customer Satisfaction and Empathy with people is trademark and pillars of running a store - that what the pharmacist and the attendant is paid for - if they cannot do that minimum job requirement - whats the point then.

Walked in to fill a prescription they said it would be ready in 30 mins so I waited 45 mins! I asked them how much longer they said give them 20 more minutes! I left went across the street bought food and a pair of shoes came back and it still wasn't ready! I start questioning them about the wait so they said it was about ready so I finally just told them to give me my ID and insurance card back so I could leave and the guy has the nerve to say "sorry but we don't accept that insurance anymore" so they weren't even filling it the whole time!!! Made me super late for work also I was so pissed!
