They found my dog then ended up adapting about 6 days later. They will not give me no information at all. He is a therapy dog. He is a guy dog. His name is hercuhe's a full blooded german rottweiler They will give me no information at all about my dog they adopted him out Without even putting him on the website This place needs to be shut down Please bring my baby boy home to me

This is one of the cleanest places that I have been to and the staff are so nice and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a dog to adopt city dogs are the place to go. I would adopt from these guys again if given the opportunity to do so. This lovely dog is Lacey and she is enjoying her new loving home.

My son went to a meet-and-greet with Holly who is currently in foster…he fell in love with her. However, because I wasn’t there to meet Holly with him, the volunteer told him that I would need to meet her. She said that since we don’t live far from the foster mom that she could probably arrange to meet us so I wouldn’t have to come to the kennel. We connected with the foster mom who said she would check with the kennel to make sure it was ok. Well, we never heard back from her. My son sent her a text the next day and that’s when she shared that she asked the kennel if she could meet on the “east-side” alone and she claim they said no. From her lack of follow-up and response…it’s hard for me to believe her. I feel some kind of way. This experience has made us decide to go somewhere else to find our furry companion. Customer service is huge to me. And going where we are appreciated is also.

Having recently lost Sir Dukerton, our senior housemate, young Bruce the Brave was in desperate need of companionship to alleviate his melancholy. We searched the countryside until we chanced upon the image of Lady Dorinda. This sassy lass was available at City Dogs and upon first meeting, Bruce was enamoured. Ms. Dori was raved upon by the folk at City Dogs and they were not wrong. She is a gem. The staff was amazing, the foster was outstanding. It was truly a great experience seeing how hard the staff was working to keep up with the needs of the animals while also tending to the people who walked through the doors.

Amazing Staff!!! Clean waiting room very inviting. Great Dog Catchers! My Son hasn't ran away in a long time. You guys got a hold of him quick. Thankfully everytime since a puppy the dog pound always grabs him. The dog pounds number is on speed dial in my phone. Lol Thank you for everything u guys do for these dogs lots of Love from Kilo n his family!!

Awesome! Fostered a pup we found while on 72 hour hold. We just officially adopted her today and we couldn't be happier. The entire staff is amazing and I highly recommend if you're looking to adopt a dog.

Recently adopted Haze from City Dogs - Cleveland. We received excellent help and advice finding a dog. The volunteers do amazing work keeping the facility clean.Adoption was a very straight forward process much to my surprise. It is very unfortunate people do not adopt as there are so many loving dogs that need a home.Staff matched us with the perfect dog for our pace of life and provided excellent documentation on everything we needed.

Almost 4 years ago I told my parents I was adopting a pitbull to which they were shocked, but supported me. Almost 4 years ago I went to City Dogs and fell in love with my blue pitbull Lacey formally known as whirlygig. That same day my parents fell in love with a dog and brought one home as well. Here I am 2022 and in June fell in love with another pitbull Kayn formaly known as asner. I knew when I was ready for another dog it would be from City Dogs. This rescue holds a place in my heart because they gave me my 2 babies, but because of how much each and every dog in there means to them. They care about getting each family a dog that is best for them. 2 weeks ago my cousin contacted me saying she wanted to adopt a dog and I sent her to City Dogs and she was so happy with hwr experience as well. Today she adopted Christina and I can not wait to meet that little pittie! I love city dogs and all that they do for a misunderstood breed. Thank you city dogs!

We had such an excellent experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our adoption counselor, Emily, was fantastic. She answered all of our questions and introduced us to Meatball who is now happy in our home. 😍😍 Such a good boy!

We got our precious boy from City Dogs almost a year ago! He was injured at that time, and we had to end up going through a foster group to get him, but the City Dogs staff was so helpful and let us come to see him whenever we wanted to during the process. They made sure that he was as comfortable as possible while he went through the foster process and as he transitioned to our home.

Wanna shout out to Izzy, for being patient with us during the adoption process, we clicked with first dog we looked at, (Oliver) but I wanted to see two more dogs to make sure I wasn't just "warm and fuzzy" from seeing a dog. The other two were great dogs, but I had a very specific reason for getting a dog, and Oliver fit those needs better. The desk staff (I'm sorry I don't remember your names, you guys were great) were efficient in the paperwork, and I know some are complaining about the prices in the reviews, but our dogs health records are immaculate, he received a lot of treatment in the pound that saved us a lot of money in the long run. Suggestion for first time adopters, that my dog deserved better from me on this point, is to make sure you find out what food they were feeding at the pound, and start with that food at home. Would adopt again.

Upon reviewing paperwork and medical history, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the dogs at the county shelter received exceptional medical care, surpassing my expectations. City Dogs truly deserves recognition for their efforts. If you're searching for a new companion, I highly recommend checking out their residents. CITY DOGS is an incredible place. I have volunteered here for six years and counting. The staff and adoption counselors know the dogs so well and are great at making the perfect match for your family.If you're looking to adopt a dog, they have a variety of dogs in terms of age, size, and personality. If you've lost your dog, they do a great job trying to reunite the pup with their family so if you're looking for Fido who got loose, please give them a call or check out their website.

I went 2 days in a row and Saturday was crazy busy, but all the staff at the front desk and volunteers were pleasant and very helpful. Not only is the the facility very nicely equipped with keeping the kennels clean, but they were on top of any accidents. There were numerous yards that had the articicial turf to allow dogs exert some energy. Very nice place! I'm not sure where I'll get my rescue, but CITY DOGS Cleveland has done a great job, and I'll be back! Even if I don't get my rescue from here, I might even come back as a volunteer!

My wife and I saw a few dogs on Petango. This is where you can find their adoptable dogs online. We drove an hour to get to the shelter from our house and we were amazed. This is definitely one of the cleanest and most well run shelters we have been to. The staff there are excellent to deal with. They go out of their way to try and make sure the dog that you may be interested in is actually a good fit for you. Overall we had an excellent experience while adopting our new dog. And we highly recommend, anyone interested in adopting a dog, give them a look.

I adopted Brynn last June..She was a stray that City dogs only had 3 weeks.I am disabled so i wanted a laid back dog. Brynn needed acl surgery (city dogs paid for.) when i adopted her. I thought perfect we will be lame together and build up stamina after she heals. After Brynn healed she turn mean and agressive. Her paperwork said she likes other dogs....no she doesnt! City dogs had the niccest people working and prob the cleanest shelter i have been to. I just wish they would maybe let the dog decompress there at the shelter before adopting out.I love Brynn so i am keeping her. But i never wanted a guard dog whos mean to everybody.

Our beloved Lab, 14 years old and partially deaf, had wandered out of the yard. As panicked as I was, everyone involved in his safety and rescue was beyond incredible. I'll never forget their kindness.
