Piper did not have a good time here.Not sure what happened so all I can do is share our story as it happened.Our happy go lucky, loving and bubbly pup Piper went in for simple trim and literally came out a different dog. When I arrived to pick her and her mate up from their grooming appointment, I could hear our dog Parker barking like I have never heard him bark before. I was immediately told Piper had tapeworm and would probably be sick, just start her on dewormer. Well, I could see Piper was definitely acting strange. Being the dog momma I am, I left the groomer and went straight to our vet.Our vet sent stool out for a thorough parasite check. We asked the vet to send stool for our other pup as well. In the meantime while waiting for results…Piper was sick alright. She wouldn’t lift her head, not wagging her tail, trembling all the time, tender and wimpering when you would touch her ribs, had trouble repositioning herself and barely walking - like she was hurting. We had the vet do a check on her.The vet confirmed there was some inflammation and tenderness around her ribs. She treated Piper with Anti-inflammatory/pain med for 48 hrs. After 48 hrs Piper started feeling better, able to reposition herself without wimpering and walking around the house even. By day 4 her trembling stopped and she was jumping up on our legs. Today weeks later she is herself again.Incidentally… both Piper and her mate Parker were negative for all parasites- negative for tapeworm. So glad I didn’t just start them in a dewormer they didn’t need.

We got our poodle-mix (bernedoodle) in December and wanted her to be properly groomed and cared for while still supporting someone local, which lead us to this business. My husband was the one who took her the first time, when she returned with Christmas bows in late January and looked like little else was done. The second time, she didn't look like much of anything was done either. I gathered then by my husband's demeanor, that he didn't feel comfortable with the place. After outright asking him, he told me his gut feeling is that the lady isn't very nice and it's awkward going in where there's a guy sitting playing a gaming console and the lady doesn't interact with our dog (who loves people), at all. We ended up in a bind and wanted her groomed before hosting Easter at our house and decided to give them one more chance. She waited until she was finished to inform us the dog had changed weight categories, from the 35pound to the 50, mind you she is half miniature poodle and less than 6 months old. So when it was time to pay, we spent almost double what we'd planned, based on her word that our dog is over 50 pounds. What I'm actually angry about is the fact that we've been paying for the service but she has never trimmed her nails!!! This is one of the main things I needed done --- I am capable of bathing her and trimming her hair and always do between appointments but I'm terrified of hurting her doing her nails. So we paid over $80 last time for what exactly? She smelled gross, her hair was barely trimmed and her nails are so long they've become painful. So we now get to pay someone else to do something we've already paid her double to do. I've told my husband he should've trusted his gut the first time and after reading these other reviews, I know it isn't just my gut and our furbaby will be going anywhere else. I'm so sorry for everyone who's also had to learn the hard way. Our dog has gotten car sick every time we put her in the car, since the first time she was there. Coincidence or anxiety? 🤷 I'm 100% all for supporting the little businesses, but it isn't worth trying this one. Read these reviews, the injuries the lack of care for our animals. Please go elsewhere.

Not even a full cut done. Paid for my mom’s dog and didn’t tip as it wasn’t my dog. When I called to set appt for my dog. Surprise no return call. And I do tip for good care of my own dog. Anyway I friendly and won’t recommend

I wasn't going to do a review. But I'm because I found so many Nick's on my Gizmo. I had my Gizmo cut from Tabby salon in Circleville ohio on Wednesday I do believe. Well I didn't notice the Nick's on my Baby until yesterday because I was so busy. My Gizmo has 4 to 5 spots of missing hair because whomever was cutting him cut too close. He has a spot under his leg. One on his chest and his back fur. Tabby Salon was nice to me when I was there. Friendly place also. But that's all beside the point. My Gizmo should've been cut right. His hair is not even. I will not be taking Gizmo back to her at all. So please if you have a pet and need grooming make sure u choose the right one.

Very easy to call & make appointment. When your pet is ready for pickup, they send you a text. I have a Mini Sheepadoodle, & love taking her to Tabby's!!!

I debated making this review, and then noticed the facebook page for this place had "reviews" off and probably for a good reson.I thought I'd save someone a trip to the vet or "groomer trauma "Our first ever appointment for this groomer and for our new pup.Let's start by if the place is not in condition you would sit and get your hair cut and feel comfortable don't second guess yourself and leave !We walked in and there was a person with his boots off and kicked up in a chair ( not a client) the place was not clean i was going to turn around but i didnt want to be judgemental. It took 2hrs but my girl also had mating so I was understanding, when I walked in to get my girl I was so excited to get her thank goodness I looked at her face because her eye was swollen and bloody she didn't want anyone to hold her she was trying to get away ( and that's not my girls temperament ) .I asked her what happened she looked at it and said probably soap ? And did offer for me to drive to my vet and she would cover her appointment. But our vet is a hour away we had already waited 2hrs for her and had to be at work and home for my childrenMy poor girl was cut in the eye with a blunt object and was super stressed outShe is on the mend and will never refer or return to this salon my pup is like my child, I'm ashamed to have left her there .

We took our dog, Gerdie in for a bath and nail trim today and our very large (130 lb) bulldog came out whiter than she has ever been, smelling better than she ever does and was in a very good mood. Going off her happy mood leaving we know they treated our big baby with love and care. Will definitely bring her back again.

Let me just start off by saying 1st impressions mean a lot…this was our 1st time here..I called to make an appointment she was kinda rude didn’t tell me a price until I asked, which is whatever, thought 50$ was kinda high but again whatever. My sister takes my baby for me and drops him off, says the lady was pretty nice. She calls me when he’s done about an hour later, I go get him. As soon as I hit the door she says that will b 50$. Not hello not how r u nothing. So I pay her. She gets my dog out of the cage, he looks exactly the same. The only reason Ik she did anything to him is bcuz u can see his paws. He has hardly any hair taken off anywhere else. I said something to her. She does not offer to fix it. She only says I took a lot off his body but u can’t see it bcuz of his sweater. I just shook my head and walked out the door. Get him home he looks like he’s not had a hair cut at all. This woman’s customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen! I will not go back. Nor will I recommend anyone take their pets here. If I could give zero stars I would….

Well, I doubt I'll take my boy back. The first time he was groomed to at this site it was wonderful, this time... oh my, looks like a kid got a hold of him with scissors. I didn't notice it until I brought him home but I'm not happy at all. Thankfully his hair grows fast. Not worth the $50 that's for sure.

Do not bring your dogs here. If I could give zero stars I would! We dropped off our two dogs for a full grooming (bath, nails, ear cleaning, and bow/bandana). One large and one medium dog. It was only supposed to take one hour for both and it took over two hours. We were never notified that it would take any longer. When we picked the dogs up they were still wet, filthy, not brushed, and covered in other dogs hair. They only fully clipped one dogs nails. And only some of the others. Not sure what they did during those two hours other than clip one of the dogs nails. The pricing is wrong on her website and google. And she charged us almost double what it should have been. The owner was rude and so were all of her workers! When we dropped the dogs off the just grabbed the leashes and shut the door. They were not friendly towards us or our dogs. Will never go back here and will be warning others of them also!

If i could give less stars i would. My friend/neighbor took her puppy in there a week ago she told them not to touch his face and just trim up the back . They trimmed up his face and it is so very uneven and looks awful he also smelled horrible!!!!! And when she called they quoted her at $25 abut when she went to pay they charged her $35!!!! When she called to complain about the services they pretty much told her sorry about her luck. That they would delete her review if she posted one!!! This is a horrible way to do business and i would never recommend anyone to take their pets there!!!! Jones Groom Room is a way better alternative!!!!!!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I took my grandmas husky here and she was supposed to be bathed, brushed and nails trimmed. She picked her up and she looked the same as she did when we dropped her off. Barely brushed her at all and had to pay $70 for it.

Tabby has taken great care of my Spaniel, Buddy. He is usually anti-social (since we live in the country and he doesn't get to see many people) But he loves her. He has grown to even keep "watch" at her door in case she needs "saving" from passers-by. Thank you so much Tabby, you are the best! (5 paws)
