The store was clean and well organized, and the staff was very friendly. The sign on door and staff made sure we knew they would be open all day this Thursday for Thanksgiving. Remember everyone, these employees are not tipped, probably not even paid full-time wages. So cut them some slack!

If I could leave a 0, I absolutely would. I do NOT recommend this store. I worked there for 3 days, before I walked out mid shift because I was being blatantly bullied by a coworker. I was told I have no common sense, I had a pen and paper slammed down in front of my face, I was scoffed out while she shook her head & rolled her eyes (I was moving out of her way to be polite, she didn’t like that), and in front of a line full of people, she yelled out to a fellow coworker “she messed up already!” Mind you, ALL of this happened IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. I proceeded to call a manager after, and the male manager LAUGHED when I told him my experience. I am so disappointed to see that worker still works there, and she still openly gives me dirty looks. That’s so disappointing. I do not recommend. This is MY experience, my opinions. Take it as you will.

In this current world where customer service is a thing of the past, this store puts the rest to shame. ALL of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help me and answer my questions. For that alone, I would go back! Craig, the manager, was helping me and I didn't even realize until later in my visit that he was the manager! I thought he was just another extremely friendly and helpful employee. The store was clean and organized and the employees seemed to really care about the presentation of their store. Good job people!

Cindy the cashier at this location deserves a huge raise and praise ! Exceptional customer service ! I called to see if they had pillows in stock before making the drive from Chillicothe! She was so professional on the phone and even held pillows for me ! She was so kind when I got there! I was greeted with a smile and joyful energy ! Thank you Cindy for making my trip well worth it ! Love the associates at this Big Lots. They are always happy to help me find something. I have also bought furniture here multiple times. This location is also consistently clean and the shelves look well organized. The only drawback is pulling out of the store and going to the left onto Lancaster Pike (towards Kroger). Be careful!

Just don't buy the couch... Go elsewhere. Day one, my brand-new couch had a board snap. 3 months in, the one squeaks every time you move. Only reason I gave this a 3 star, is because the rest of the store has quite a bit of stuff. And the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Some household decor is more expensive, but pretty.

One of my favorite stores. This one is kept in great shape, clean, and orderly. They carry a great selection of international foods, which doesn't have high fructose corn syrup. Also keep an eye out for boxes of Prince of Peace tea, good Asian teas at a great price.Pricing of items is typically on par with Walmart, or better. Keep an eye out for the clearance carts (if present) for some great random items.Staff is typically friendly and a pleasure to talk to.

Sales staff was great in helping order a couch, but when it arrived pieces were missing. My wife called and unknowingly talked to a manager which answer the phone to ask about getting the missing piece sent to us. This manager instantly started being rude, after going to the store myself to get the missing piece ordered and ask why she was talked to so rudely on the phone The only response I could get was“she described the missing piece wrong and we are busy.” Well sir I’m sorry you had to do your job today. Management of the store is definitely a joke.

I always want to remember Big Lots as having great deals. Unless there is a percentage off sale on seasonal items, unfortunately their prices overall just aren't a deal anymore. Most of the things I buy are just less expensive elsewhere at Kroger, Aldi, Target, etc.

I stopped in here to see if they had anything to help with the cold I had been fighting. I of course couldn't leave without purchasing a few extra things. They always have wonderful deals on many items. They also have a rewards card that I signed up for while I was here. It says that every the purchases that you will earn a $5 reward. I've only made two purchases so far so I'm not exactly sure how this will work but I'm excited to find out. Selection varies so it's worth looking around often!

This place is great! Always great discounted prices, good selection and attentive employees. The international food section is well stocked and has alot of unusual, hard to find products. I always end of leaving here with way more than I planned on buying.

My mother in law and I received the rudest customer service from the store manager Craig. They sold us a used tree that was broken (there were ornaments already on it and half the lights didn’t work) and didn’t have the another, wouldn’t sell us the floor model and the only tree that was 7ft tall and green which was what we had was $100 more... I asked if he could meet me in the middle somewhere, my family was in town, I live over 15 minutes away, this is my second trip and he said he could give me 5% off and I said that wasn’t really a discount and he said honestly I don’t even have to do that for you, then I said fine I’ll take my money back (because he was being rude) and because we got it on my husband card, I now have to go back home and get his card because he refused to refund it in cash or to my card. Now I have to spend my family time driving back and forth to Big Lots because they care more about bottom dollar than customer service, so now they’ve lost a customer that shopped there regularly... they don’t even see that they just lost money on poor service...

Looks like the quality of big lots stuff keeps getting better! Unfortunately i think some of its a little over priced which hurts the value of some of their products. I still really like big lots, i just wish the prices would go back down.

Big Lots was amazing. I haven't been in there in years and I was pleasantly surprised. They have good-looking furniture and patio sets at great prices. They have quality farmhouse and other modern home decor. I bought a Shark Ionflex Duoclean Multiflex cordless vacuum on sale for a little over $150. I already had that exact type of vacuum, so I was thrilled to get another one for my upstairs floor at such a great price. I'll definitely be shopping there again!

Checked website for an item and it stated there were eight in stock. Drove 35+ miles to pick one up even though it gave me the option to do curbside pickup next day. Got there they did not have stock and now the site was updated.

I stopped going here because the new manager was very rude to the employee I was checking out with and to me. I had been going there since it first opened up as a BigLots store more years ago than I like to admit. I go to the Chillicothe store now where our previous manager moved to.

It's a Big Lots so not more than 3 stars, but it's a good one. Building opened as Buckeye Mart in early 70s and I remember my dad getting a lawnmower there when they opened

Big Lots used to be the store that you could find a great deal in if you searched. Not anymore! Big Lots is loaded with all kinds of great deals for your whole family all year long!!!
