Terrible experience with order and installation of blinds. I ordered at the beginning of December. One arrived defective and two others were the wrong size. After months of phone calls and going into the store to try and get my blinds ordered correctly and installed, I'm still waiting for the issues to be resolved. Bad system and bad customer service.

Every time I come here this place is a wild disorganized disaster. I was getting four pieces of wood with my wife, my toddler and newborn when flagger yells down aisle “we waitin on yall” so I ignored him because I knew that that rudeness couldn’t have been directed at me. So the lift driver in frustration blocked off half the aisle and tried to grab some wood while me and my family were still in it and proceeded to drop it everywhere. Anyone who has ever worked in a warehouse knows exactly how dangerous this can get. So then he got even more frustrated and yelled “bruh I need y’all to come out” I said I’m getting one piece of wood then I’ll be out. This is like the 20th time I have had trouble getting simple things here. Just go to Lowe’s! It’s 2 mins from the Home Depot, it’s always stocked/organized, the people are always kind. I probably spent 22000 here in the past two years but I’ll never shop at Home Depot again I promise you.

I visited this store about a month ago and the lumber section was a disaster. Lots of stuff scattered in the aisles and it was difficult to navigate. I figured they were having a rough day and didn't have time to clean up and let it slide.I've been back a few times since then and it looked about the same. Today was the worst though. Three aisles had so much junk in the way that I couldn't fit my cart through until I moved stuff. There were lots of carts blocking the shelves so I couldn't find what I was looking for.The rest of the store is normal. A bit messy, but it's a hardware store, right? But you enter the lumber section and it looks like a total war zone.Their largest competitor is less than half a mile away. Their selection isn't a good but I can actually fit my cart through every aisle and I'll be shopping there in the future.

I normally shop at Lowe’s but today they did not have what I was looking for and Home Depot did not either. I did however find a stark difference between one store and the other Home Depot had a dirty and cluttered parking lot with the carts everywhere and Penske trucks looking cheap out front inside the store, everything was dirty from the product on the shelves to the floor. Just another reminder of why I do not go to Home Depot especially the one on Pleasant Ridge. I find others to be in better shape. I do like the self check out with a scan gun. That makes it very easy.

Perfectly adequate Home Depot. Parking is a tad on the small side and employees are hard to come by if you need help with things like getting wood cut, etc. They do have a better selection of trees and shrubs than other’s and most typical items I shop for here are usually in stock so can’t complain about the selection at all. Solid B+ store.

Long line, as only self checkouts were open, so I quickly replaced the few items I had, as they weren't urgent, and left without purchasing anything. If you want to sell me something, you have to be open for business.

Got our christmas tree here two years in a row. Great deal. Half the price of the "great prices" local guy. They were doing construction right outside the garden center so it was impossible to hear anything and nobody was working out there to help us but whatever I'll take it.

Home Depot proudly tells customers about their 10% Veteran discount.Here’s my experience: I signed up online. Now when I get to a store and try to get the discount, I try to sign in to their weak WiFi. If I’m able to get on, I launch their app and try to get on. In the unlikely event that it recognizes me, it tells me I need to confirm my eligibility for the discount (which I did when I signed up). When I tell an associate that I’m having some (or all of these) issues and show them my VA Card (with picture) they tell me they’re sorry, but not allowed to override the system and give me the discount. It’s using veterans to try and make themselves look good while actually giving us nothing. Dirtbags…

Tried to purchase a stove and fridge last week. We were told they would match a sale price that Loews had on the same fridge but the a Manger could not be found to approve it. After waiting a while we were told to stop back later ? I would think a $3700 sale would be more important

Did a curbside pick up. Checked in and waited 20 minutes. Tried calling multiple times before someone finally answered. She claimed I wasn’t in the system but when I gave her my name magically I was. Then all she proceeded to say was someone will be out, before I could finish my question she hung up on me. I continued to wait for another 10 minutes. This was is the WORST pick up experience I’ve ever had. Clearly I wasn’t the only one, as the person next to my gave up and went inside.

Update 4/4/24 - this store is still the worst! Original post - DON'T SHOP HERE! Go down the street to Lowe's!!! Checked in for curbside, waited 10 minutes then called but no one every answered the phone I was just stuck on hold. After 15 minutes I left. OVER an hour after I checked in for my pickup I got a call from the store asking if I'm outside to pick up my order. Seriously, I'm supposed wait an hour for you to bring out my curbside order?!

I have relied on this Home Depot over the last year while renovating my home. After multiple poor experiences, and a final major frustration with a failed bulk gravel pickup, I am submitting my review to share that this Home Depot location is not equipped to handle order delivery or scheduled pickups. We will move our business elsewhere, which is a bummer given the convenient location.

If I could give a zero I would. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store and never again, I will always go to Lowe’s where you will be helped and not belittled. I had to exchange a door I literally needed the same thing swinging the other direction. I explained that we are doing a big project and my husband who could not be with me had the credit card and he could send a photo.they tried to do unreciepted but I did one the day before so I got denied a return. An employee who was not on the clock said they could look up my receipt with the last 4 digits and the lady who originally said I had to have the receipt then responded yes they could. Once the employee who was off the clock left she then yelled at another team member not to help me without a receipt or a physical credit card. So I am returning it to another Home Depot and purchasing it at Lowe’s and will never step foot into the pleasant ridge Home Depot let alone Home Depot at all. I have always worked in retail so I totally understand having policy and following it. But when confirming that there was something she could do and just wouldn’t is absurd. I have no problem paying more anywhere else and having a good experience than dealing with the rudeness and this is just the last encounter. I have had employees make misogynistic comments when I am shopping directly to me and a plethora of other ridiculous things.

Worst home depot experience.Picked up two items from under the ridgid endcap that says pick two tools for $179 and go to the register. The items come up at full price. I ask the cashier why and I'm abruptly told that she doesn't know. I point to the end cap that is just across the aisle and she states she can't look at it and walks away. I had to request her to find someone to could answer the question. Individual that came informed me that home depot vendors place items that don't apply to the promotion intermixed with items that do. My question was an inconvenience to everyone I asked for help. It was a complete waste of time to ask for help.Is Home Depots business model really to intermix endcap promotions to cause confusion that will result in customers paying higher prices?Cashier: ErinTime: 0900

Impossible to find an employee to help you with anything. Have asked around for help cutting blinds for 20-30 minutes with no luck. If they weren’t matching other blinds I would’ve just gone to Lowe’s at this point.

Rude employees that blow you off and the guy that finally “Helped” us was clearly angry about helping us and even made snide comments about getting a tool we needed. The parking lot is a disaster. Stay away. Lowe’s across the street is much better.

The Pleasant Ridge Home Depot is terrible. I ordered 12 cabinets for delivery. The Home Depot website told me I'd receive a call 30 minutes prior to delivery, and my delivery instructions specified that I needed to be called 30 minutes prior to delivery so that I could be at the house when the cabinets arrived.On the delivery day the contracted driver called me when he was AT the property. I told him it would take 30 minutes to get there and he told me he couldn't wait and that the cabinets would be returned to the store. I rescheduled the cabinets to be delivered the following week but this time I sat at the house an entire day waiting for the cabinets to arrive. Only 3 of the 12 cabinets were on the truck. I called the store and they said the other cabinets were part of a second delivery order and they weren't rescheduled for delivery when I had called the previous time but I was told that they would be scheduled for delivery the following day.As of the date of this review I have scheduled the cabinets for delivery 3 separate times and each time the Pleasant Ridge has cancelled the delivery without notifying me, which caused me to waste each day sitting at the house. Today I called to follow up on the delivery and Pleasant Ridge told me my order had been transferred to the Fields Ertel store in Mason, Ohio. I called the Fields Ertel store and the representative informed me that the Pleasant ridge store had repeatedly been cancelling the delivery without notifying me, but the helpful employee also told me she could schedule the delivery within a few days.Today I went to the Pleasant Ridge store to talk to a manager about the situation and the woman at the customer service desk had her earbuds in and was talking to someone on the phone acting too busy to deal the situation. Half the time I couldn't tell if she was talking to me or the person on her phone. She said she called the manager but I waited another 15 minutes and he still had not arrived. I walked out of the store because the Fields Ertel store had called me back to confirm that they could deliver my cabinets.The customer service at the Pleasant Ridge store is nonexistent and many of the employees are lazy.

What more can I say than Home Depot is in a three way tie for my favorite home improvement store... I love HD's more rugged and industrial, your everyman's home improvement store... What I don't love is the fact I wanted to return something, and I couldn't find the receipt, and get looked at by customer service, and passively treated like I am either a thief or wanting to rip them off... Honestly, I really would just like be able to trade in it for something if equal value... It had never been used and still in the box!
