A pretty great grocery store (not supermarket!) with high quality items that is especially worth a visit during the Christmas holiday season for special treats such as Christmas Pudding, Mince pies or Black and White cookies, to name but a few. Probably not the best option for the budget conscious and for that reason only it misses 5 stars.

Chicken and spinach cannelloni tasted great but e-mail ad showed 8 pieces for $19.99. At the store the package had only 4 pieces and I paid $14.99. Very confusing and misleading

Fresh Market always has great stuff, but today they had a cool little German product section. It has sweets like cookies and cakes, but also some Düsseldorf mustard in reusable glass steins.

Very disappointed. At first I loved this place, so friendly and items I wanted . But yesterday everyone was cranky except the checkout girl, (young African American girl wearing a diamond. halo with wings necklace). Unfriendly guy in. seafood department, cooked shrimp and smoked salmon should be labeled whether it is wild caught or not (none in the store) and the sushi guy was horrible, and seemed very angry when I asked a question. Cherry pie had pit fragments in it the last two times. Going back to Whole Foods.

Appears to have a great selection of high quality groceries and produce. The deli and bakery have some great looking dishes and items. Clean and well kept. Not necessarily for budget-shopping which isn't inherently a bad thing.

Great place to buy baked goods. Excellent selection of different varieties of bread and sweets.UPDATE: 12/7 :Fresh Market now charges customers for bags: .05 for plastic and .20 for paper. They are "encouraging" all to use reusable bags (which, incidentally, are available at the checkout). The arrogance of this organization to punish their customers if they don't use reusable bags is astounding; to say nothing to the fact that Fresh Market is making profit off the sale of plastic and paper bags. Encouraging (i.e. forcing) you customer base to ascribe to your corporate ideology is an exercise in futility. I will avoid this operation until this policy disappears.

The workers at this store are very kind! We recently moved into the area and for my first pickup order they threw in a free bag of pumpkin fudge pretzels! The people who work behind the deli counter are also very kind, and have been super helpful. The store has a great selection of fresh foods and is someplace I love to come for a special occasion or just if I am in the mood to treat myself for something nice.

I love this place! It's conveniently located in the center of Oakley and has all sorts of high quality produce and groceries. The bakery/sweets are of particular note, in my opinion.My only complaint is the smaller selection at times, I've not been able to find a few items here before (such as limes) which is a bit of a bummer. A trade off for the great convenience and quality!

We love this place! Amazing selection. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.. quality! Convenient, safe, good location overall. Best coffee hands down! Mostly organic. Friendly staff, quick and easy check out. Highly recommend

Hi! I am ten years old. Me and my stepdad went to get some steak to munch on for a Sunday night dinner. We bought filet mignon like always. We cooked them on a propane grill but when we tried them, they tasted like watery, dyed monstrosities. Don't recommend.

Love this store for produce, bakery, deli, and their meal kits. Also love their bulk section and whole bean coffee selection. They have some speciality items I try occasionally, and fun gift ideas for kid's christmas stockings or easter baskets around each holiday.4 stars because I still go to Kroger for my grocery staples (bread, eggs, milk, baking supplies, etc) as Fresh Market is significantly more expensive for these items than Kroger.Oh, I also love their little butterfly flower bouquets. They last almost 2 weeks and are the perfect thing to brighten the counter.

I have only been in this place a handful of times, but every time I have found exactly what I needed quickly, and the staff has been available, helpful and kind.You do not experience the stress and congestion you deal with at the Hyde Park Kroger, or at Mecca (the Oakley Kroger).While you will not find gasoline here, you will find exactly what you are looking for, and it will be of better quality than any of the other places around.The last thing I will tell you is that The Fresh Market prepared our Thanksgiving dinner this year, as I am very lazy. It was outstanding. variety, quality and value. I used the Ivory House last year and it cost more and sucked. Fresh Market’s “Holiday Meal” blew them away. I attached a photograph of the menu choices we had this year.

Love shopping here, everything is easy to find, produce and meats are much higher quality than where I usually go, associates are friendly and helpful. Love their meal kits and prepared items, makes cooking for one suck a little less. When I’m crunched for time, I order online - Amy has fulfilled any online order I’ve had, she communicates and finds substitutes by checking to see what you want, and she is very friendly please keep her and give her a raise, I’m always impressed by her professionalism and friendly demeanor.

I love going to Fresh Market when I just have a few items to pick up. The produce is beautiful. The employees are friendly and helpful. My fellow customers keep their masks on, and they maintain a good physical distance. When meat products are on sale it's a really good deal. Perfect for a smaller shopping run.

I’m a regular customer shopping here at least three times a week. When he specifically today for the advertised chicken dinner special. Truss to find out they had no chicken left at 12:15 PM. I talk to the manager and see if there’s any kind of options. Only answer I got oh sorry we are behind and understaffed. Not a way to treat a regular customer especially when the manager recognized me. This location started to have issues the last couple of months and I am aware that all businesses struggle with staffing and supply issues. But this is a premium grocery store and I should be able to except a better service for the premium prize you pay.

Really nice quality products and produce, everyone is always so willing to help. I do have an issue with the receipts at the register. A lot of the time the codes don't match the product, the price will be the same but it will be a different product. It comes out the same in the end but it makes it harder to keep track of your groceries.

I personally didn't like it i could have received better customer service given the high prices. I went to 3 different departments 1 was very helpful the other said you don't see it we don't have it .. They didn't bother to check check out wasn't better i am asking where to check out and after wondering around the clerk simply stood there no nothing until i was told they couldn't bag my things and to use your own bag or place in the bag provided for the hot meal purchased. For a 1st time shopper i was not impressed at all

Play your cards right and you can make this an affordable grocery option. You'll never save as much as you would at ALDI but The Fresh Market can be cost competitive with Kroger.

I love this place! I love their seafood and meat department. They have the best chicken salad, deviled egg potato salad, rotisserie chicken, pizza, seafood salad, etc, etc! They also have great daily specials! I’m hooked!

My husband ordered a blueberry pie five days in advance for Easter. He gets a message on Easter morning at 9:27am stating they do not have enough blueberries and can’t make the pie. My husband did not respond immediately and within 20 minutes they already made the decision to go ahead and make us a wild berry pie. We went to the store by 10:30am asking if they could give us apple instead since we never asked for the wild berry pie and they told us no. Are you kidding me?? They are extremely inconsiderate to give their customers 1 hour to respond for an order that was put in days ago. The rudest customer service ever.

Everyone there is super nice and helpful, and they can have amazing sales. While the food they offer is good, it can get expensive and there aren't always options for people with food restrictions - although I feel like that's only because the store is smaller.It honestly feels like a neighborhood mom and pop grocery with an amazing wine and beer selection. I continue going there when I can, but I can't get everything I need because of my food restrictions unfortunately.

We visit this market about 3-4 times a week as it’s super convenient in Oakley and the food is always fresh. We pick up meals that are already prepared and just needs quick time in the oven. They have great $20 deals that include entree, sides and dessert that you really can’t beat!
