When we foster failed our Bernese Mountain Dog, Willow, from Paws for Miles, I knew I would need to find a trustworthy groomer. I’ve had several dogs throughout my life but never had a dog I’ve had to get professionally groomed. Honestly I’ve heard horror stories, I wanted to find a trustworthy and patient groomer. Paws for Miles gave glowing reviews of Tara’s. Despite the locations being 45+ min away from where we live in Northern KY, I didn’t want to risk traumatizing our girl any more than she had been. Today was her 2nd appointment with Ryan and he has done a fabulous job both times. What should be a 1hr appt takes 2-4hr since she is extra nervous, plus being such a thick coated breed, and I’m so appreciative of his patience and his dedication to quality. He greets her lovingly and does not seem the least bit inconvenienced by her reservations. Additionally, their prices are so reasonable! Before today, I was really considering finding another groomer just for the sake of convenience, but Tara’s Boutique and especially Ryan are so worth the drive. Thank you all for making Willow her most beautiful self!!!

Jordan, the dog groomer she did a great job with my Australian Shepherd, buddy. The only down side is the app they use is very inadequate for communication for when to pick your dog up when the dog is done they schedule you for hour and when the hours up the app says your dog is done. This has nothing to do with the groomer Jordan she did a great job.

My mom and I love this place!!!! Our cockapoo has always struggled with going to the groomers but Samantha does a fantastic job and gets him done fast! He always looks cute after his appointments!!! Definitely recommend this place and the staff is the best!

We took our Frenchie and if anyone knows anything about French Bulldogs they love to get dirty. Our stylist Maddie did such a great job with her she still smells wonderful her nails look great and breath is amazing. Could not be happier! Thanks again Maddie

If I could give this business 6 stars, I would! I am especially grateful to our groomer Jordan, who treated my dog Violet with such care and compassion during her first groom after adoption. My little poodle is a rescue and she is very timid. She is especially reactive to touch. Jordan knew exactly how to keep her relaxed. Jordan was patient in easing my worries, and she was able to provide helpful advice about caring for Violet's coat between grooms. In the end, Violet looked better than I could have ever expected, and she had a great experience that will reinforce grooming in a positive way. I would recommend this business to anyone, but especially to those who have rescued dogs with trauma. Thank you, Jordan!

Under no circumstances should you EVER take your animal to Tara’s pet boutique. We have been taking our sweet girl there for years but the place has literally gone downhill. The new people that they have hired have absolutely no idea how to give a dog a haircut. Not only did my doodle come home looking like a naked mole rat with a Helmet, she also cut her actual ears to where they were bleeding. Pictured is one side of the scabs that they caused. We will never be back.

We have a border collie who was way overdue for a grooming but he can be difficult when it comes to grooming. The groomer was very patient with him and she did a fantastic job. We will be back for sure!

I had an appointment as a new client on Friday the 1st with Hayley and she was so amazing so helpful about exactly what I was looking for making sure I was 100% set before she even groomed my kitty she did an awesome job I’ve never felt more pleased with a groomer than I did leaving after her appointment. Again my cat looks great and I will definitely be back

We love taking our mini Aussiedoodle here! She feels comfortable and loves the staff! Plus they've done a phenomenal job! Our dog is a 7months old so she's been getting the puppy package which makes her comfortable with everything to finally getting a big girls haircut which we love!

I have had my dog cut here many times and I have been happy. In fairness he hadnt been a few months because of illness and having a hard time rescheduling but I am so upset with this latest experience. She shaved every inch of him even his tail. His ear is shaved real close in places and longer in others. He looks terrible. He was the last appt on a Friday night. I advise against taking that appointment. He was there 2.5 hours and it looks like about a half hour was spent shaving him down. I could have saved my $100 & done that myself. At this point I will not be returning. The last pic is what he used to look like. 😔

My dog can be very nervous with people she doesn’t know, especially with other dogs barking in the room, and everyone here is so kind and sweet. They really take their time to make your pet comfortable and she always looks so cute when she’s done. Thank you for being so kind and patient!

We absolutely love Tara’s boutique. They are always extremely attentive to our older for a baby who has lots of limitations due to his age. Madison was extremely attentive, Caring, compassionate, and understanding to our dog today. She went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of, and informed of everything she did. We have been using Tara for a few years now, and I can’t imagine taking our dog anywhere else.

My one year-old cavapoo Pepper is a pretty shy guy and our groomer Sam always makes him feel comfortable and safe. She is a pro at cutting his hair. He always comes back looking like a puppy again and his hair is so soft! The staff is very courteous and friendly. I’m so glad I found Tara’s Pet Boutique for Pepper :)

I am so happy with the experience I had with my feisty, skittish dog! She has been sent home from multiple groomers for bad behavior and when I saw the phone call from Tara’s a couple of hours after my check in, I was sure it was to say they weren’t able to work with her. But they were able to complete the service and Madison did a great job! She was also very sweet and loving to my dog who was extremely anxious when I left. Thank you for taking great care of her! ❤️

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! Took my 10 month old whoodle here, Not only did he come out looking like a naked mole rat ( Other reviews have had this experience you can find them below) they gave cuts on the inside of the ears and were bleeding in several places by the time we got home. THE MANAGER TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY AND WAS OF NO SYMPATHY FOR THE SITUATION!!.

Miss Tara has been grooming my dogs for years. She is amazing with them. She gives them lots of love and is constantly building trust with them and myself through the whole experience. She even offers huge discounts on service dogs and rescues. If you need a nail trim just call ahead and bring them by without an appointment she is that accommodating.

Our pembroke corgi had her first grooming appt ever, today. She is quite furry. Ash did a fabulous job-she was washed and brushed out and trimmed. Her nails were cut as well. We will be back and recommend others to the boutique. Ziva is an anxious dog and she looks great after her visit. You can tell the employees really care and do their best. Front staff was very good as well! Thank you!

Today was my 1st time visiting Tara's and its a really cozy place. I must confess my true reason for coming is because you now employee my favorite groomer that I would follow just about anywhere. She's taken such good care of my baby for the last year and a half plus. The happiness he shows and how comfortable he is with Tammy warms my heart. I love my fur baby so much and dropping him off any where is hard. But when I hand him off to Tammy I know my Zeussie (Zeus) is in good hands. Keep doing what you do Tammy. You're awesome.
