I took the free tour of the facility at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and I was very impressed. I can not imagine a dog not being happy during their stay here.Everybody here seems to genuinely care about all the dogs whether they are here for the day or boarded for longer. This care is obvious by how clean the entire place is! I don’t know how they can keep it so clean. They have separate play areas, inside and outside, for the small dogs and the big dogs. Plenty of room for them to romp and play! The retail store in front was well stocked and organized. From what I saw and was told, the prices are very competitive. They offer specials too, so be sure to ask about that!

We’ve been taking our furbabies there for the last year and some change and they love it there! Love the enrichment and holiday events they are doing! And the staff is super friendly! Heads up, their holiday pics with Santa are the best in town, hands down.

Best in the area. I trust the staff to take great care of my boy when he is at daycare. There are cameras in the large and small dog area that allow you watch your dog while you are away. My boy won a full day of fun because he won the 2021 Halloween costume contest!!

I took my dog here a while ago. He went for a week and I immediately took him out. The owners son was working the front desk and straight up told me (in front of multiple clients) that my dog was aggressive toward the other dogs trying to mount him. He said if he snapped or growled at the other dogs again, he would not be welcome back (again in front of other clients in the lobby) he also had added in that he was being a “bad dog”. I left humiliated and in tears because my dog had been in daycare before we moved and had never exhibited this kind of behavior he was telling me.. I also wondered why I didn’t get a call to come get my dog if he was acting this way. When I got home I called and it was like the entire story changed and those instances never happened. He acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about and when I asked if I should pull him he said “oh he’ll be fine, we’re not worried about it. Keep bringing him!” So the next day I did and I talked to one of the girls and apologized for how he acted the day prior.. she said “I was with him all day and he didn’t do any of those things. So I’m not sure if maybe he confused him with another dog or what.” I was infuriated.. I never brought him back after that. Very unprofessional. I take full responsibility for how my dog acts but to be told that what he said to me IN FRONT OF OTHER CLIENTS was completely false was the last straw for me. I also feel, even if my dog was being aggressive, that conversation should’ve been done in private or over the phone.

Tailwaggers is amazing. We were of course nervous at first, but after his fist day it was obvious he had the time of his life. It continues to be one of his favorite places even after 2 years of taking him here. Everyone is extremely kind, gentle, and patient. We also boarded him here and that was wonderful as well. I’m also so glad they have live webcams you can see them when you’re away! Highly recommend taking your dog(s) here. I’m sure we’ll be back soon.

TailWaggers is honestly the ONLY place I trust to care for my pups. Lynn, the owner, is such a sincere dog lover. Her and her staff have cared for 2 of our dogs now. Absolutely, love this facility and that they truly care about the dogs in their care.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I’ve been bringing my Rico here for just over a year and have had nothing but amazing service. He loves the staff and is always so excited to go. After a long day at work, it is so nice to know he got the same love he would when we are home with him.

Really excellent customer service. I was expecting to go into labor any day, and we contacted Tailwaggers to see if there was any flexibility with hours over the holiday. The owner reached out to us personally and told us to call on her personal number if I were to go into labor. We called her in the middle of the night, and she met us right away, so our dog wouldn't have to be home alone at all and my husband wouldn't have to come back from the hospital to bring him. We've been bringing our dog there for over a year now, and even though he doesn't get along with all dogs and doesn't necessarily thrive in a group boarding situation, they always take great care of him and accommodate him.

Our dog Brooke got a bath, nails trimmed, ears cleaned and teeth brushed and we had a great experience!! She was a happy girl when we picked her up and she still smells amazing 2 days later! Nails and teeth look great. We will be bringing her back for her next good scrub! Thank you!

I supply Tailwaggers SAPP dogs with food. I don't have a dog to take there but I would. The people I see there are dedicated to taking care of these dogs!

Love LOve LOVE! THIS PLACE! We travel down from Wisconsin alot to see shows and hike and just enjoy the Cincinnati area, and we have been bringing our beautiful babies here for the last 4 years whenever we are in town. Our pups come home happy, fed, exhausted, and sometimes with a new groom (upon request they offer grooming too as an extra add on) Lynn has always worked with us and her staff were super patient and lovey with my hyper breed puppies and my tiny dog 9.6 pounds. I love knowing my pups are safe while I go do human things. Thanks Tailwaggers! We will see you this week with our pups!

This place is fantastic. We have been taking our dog here for boarding and grooming for probably 6 or so years. The staff is friendly and great at what they do. And they clearly love the dogs. The facilities are clean with lots of space for the dogs.

Please do not use this doggy daycare! They do not care about the dogs or the rules they themselves put in place to protect the dogs. A friend in Anderson Township lost their poor puppy, only 10 pounds, to a dog attack when a husky/rottweiler mix was left unattended by a staff member and small dogs were let out to play. The negligence of this facility not only cost the dog its life, but the family a lifetime of pain all because they couldn’t follow simple protocol. There have probably been many incidents taken place at this daycare that were brushed under the rug, please don’t let this be one of them. They tried to sweep it under the rug by trying to get the owners to sign an NDA so they couldn’t talk about the situation or be able to notify any one else of the situation that occurred. These people do not care about your pups. The comment they left about “no serious injuries have taken place here” is no longer true, they are responsible for a dogs death. Please take your pup anywhere else!

Tailwaggers discrimates & bans certain breeds of dogs at their facility. This is disgusting behavior especially for a company all about dogs & one that “helps out animals rescues” … If you care about dogs & animal welfare, then please take your dog & support one of the other many dog daycares around the tristate.I sincerely hope their owners stop discriminating shortly & educate themselves or truly just shutdown if not. There are also horror stories of dogs being severely injured under their care & staff not even noticing. One dog even had to be taken to medvet after the owners picked them up, bur staff didn’t even realize the dog was injured. Accidents happen in dog daycares, but for nobody to notice besides the owner at pickup is an issue.Update to response below: Tailwaggers just admitted this review is correct by confirming they ban & discriminate against pitties at their business. Do you see other dog boarding facilities/vets/daycares doing this? No, because they make sure to be inclusive & found insurance that is. If they truly cared & didn’t want to discriminate adding to even more bias against a dog breed with an already bad rap for no reason they would find appropriate insurance for their company (like all companies do- find an insurance that fits what they want). Have a nice day!

Our family's 6.5-month-old puppy, Rusty, was attacked and killed at Tailwaggers on August 5th. We boarded him on Friday night and had a phone call early Saturday morning that a large dog had gotten to him and did not release him until he was dead. We heard one version of the story when we went to collect our beloved Rusty's body that morning, and our attorney heard another when she went there shortly after us, the owners had another version when they reached out to us on August 6th. One thing that all the stories had in common was that Blue, a dog from SAAP was loose in the kennel and had access to our 10 lb puppy. We had questions...we didn't even know that Tailwaggers had dogs in from SAAP, why weren't measures taken when letting out ANY small and ANY large dogs (SAAP or otherwise) that morning to be sure something like this didn't happen? We waited almost 11 days for a full report, we did not post anything negative anywhere, we realized that awful mistakes can happen and we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. My husband, myself, and our three young children WAITED...10 days patiently to see what happened to our Rusty. On August 14th, they reached out with a significant settlement in exchange for an NDA and no final explanation of what had happened. We said we would not accept a settlement without a final explanation and needed to know the changes that would take place to prevent this from happening to any other dogs and their families. On August 16th, we received a web of the same three versions that had been told and a plan for "change" that should have been there in the first place. We declined the settlement in exchange for our voice and for Rusty. I am not saying that anyone at Tailwaggers meant for this to happen, I don't believe that which is why we gave them the opportunity to handle things in what we see as the right way...with truth, accountability, and change. They had plenty of time to let the public know what happened and how they were to ensure that it would not happen again. We were blocked from viewing their Facebook page On August 5th (the day Rusty was killed)...but we were informed by others that Tailwagger's did not post on their Facebook page about the incident until August 19th...days after word began to spread about what had happened to Rusty. The morning we picked up Rusty's body, we were told Blue was headed back to SAAP. We never received word of anything about him but he was listed on SAAP's website without an update on his profile of his attack on a small dog. We do know that he wasn't taken off of SAAP's website until August 16th, the same day that we declined Tailwagger's settlement and after we made our first post on Facebook about Rusty. Let me be clear that I am not suggesting that SAAP is a bad organization...Blue and Rusty are not at fault here. They both should have been protected by Tailwaggers and were not. So I'm telling this story for Rusty, for Blue, for anyone who has a beloved puppy or dog that they send to a doggy daycare or boarding facility. Do your research, ask questions, and make sure protocols are in place before leaving your pet, a 4.7* google review was not enough for our Rusty. Since this happened, I have had numerous people in the community reach out to me personally to share stories of their pups being injured at Tailwaggers in boarding and grooming, these individuals were also asked not to share their stories. If you go to Tailwaggers, please ask them about this before you leave your dog....maybe you will get the truth.

We trust our dog with them. They do great grooming and he comes back so soft and white! Their boarding is also great and the dogs get good attention. Only thing to note is the outside has pea gravel and if your dog has no experience on it, it can leave their pads sore.

I have taken my dog as well as my foster dogs to tail wagger's. They always come home happy healthy and tired. And then I get to enjoy an evening of snuggling them since they've already got their energy out. Michelle and Zach are amazing.

Need a loving place for your furry kid(s)? Tail Waggers allows me to drop my (very loud) pup for the day and sometimes we have her bathed/groomed before pick-up so we can go home with a clean, happy, sleepy pup. Thanks for all you do Tail Waggers. You are greatly appreciated.

I wrote my initial review a few months ago but the owner called me freaking out, causing me to delete it..... The story is that I’ve set my boxer there ever since she was a puppy (she’s now two). Yes, she was hyper... a total lover and attention seeker. Never aggressive towards other dogs or humans. A total play baby. I even pay to belong to a dog park and not once has she ever been aggressive towards another dog or human. The last time my dog stayed at Tailwaggers, I could not locate her on video all day. I let this go, thinking maybe it was just a bad day there. I am not one to get on the surveillance, but I had a gut feeling things were off the past few time I had taken my her there. The time after this incident, I went to drop her off and an employee told me my dog could no longer come there. I was quite frustrated because I was on my way into work. I explained this and the girl told me they could keep her for the day but she would have to be kept in a kennel. Of course I did not agree to this, left, and wrote a bad review. The owner called me and text repeatedly while I was working, apologizing. I eventually talked to her and she told me it was a total mix up. She stated she screamed at some employees about this incident. She also told me she understood why I was upset, as she was too. She then stated she and her husband felt so terrible that they offered to give my dog free training. I text her a few weeks later telling her I wanted to bring my dog for the day, but also felt uncomfortable due to what had occurred. She stated she didn’t feel comfortable, as she was out of town, and wanted my dog evaluated before she came back. Long sorry short, my dog has never been aggressive. Yes, she was a hyper boxer and I feel like they did not want to deal with her, which is the reason I sent her to doggy daycare. I thought the idea of doggy daycare was to play and exercise. I never heard back from the owner which shows they never truly cared about my dog, as they acted after the bad review. Also, my dog has never acted right since the day I could not locate her on the camera system, which makes me wonder.... She’s completely skeptical of people now and is not her playful, hyper self. I would not recommend this business.

We have been taking our dogs here for years and they love it! Lynn and the tailwaggers team have always been super helpful and treated our dogs like family. It is so nice to be able to check on them on camera and see them play. Our dogs sleep the rest of the week when they get home and are so happy.

VERY HAPPY with Tailwaggers!!!! After a one time at-home grooming service that left me sour, this place has friendly staff that made me and my dog feel comfortable at and after every visit. I like knowing I can take my pet there for a bit of a puppy-break myself, and he enjoys himself there. The ladies there are great, flexible and always so chummy with every dog. Highly recommend. Don't let the location deter you-- once you see the facilities and meet the staff, you will be sold.

Our dog has been going every Wednesday and she now gets excited every Wednesday in anticipation. They have a Webcam system to keep an eye on the dogs, which is much appreciated. Staff is super friendly too and remember our dog. I think sometimes she likes them more than us.

Tailwaggers experience is like no other daycare/boarding, grooming and retail store around! "One stop shop" they like to say. The well rounded and knowledgeable staff is very comforting when leaving your fur babies behind. You and your doggy best friend will be left in total care when staying here. The hours they have are pretty great due to work schedules. They have doggy cams so you can look at how well your dog plays with others, and you are honestly happy about the fact your dog is having a great day of fun and getting to be associated with other puppy friends! I would recommend this place to anyone who has a fur baby of their own! :)

Loved the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the ability to watch the dog room online! We paid more here compared to another local boarding place, but the quality was SO much better!! Definitely worth it. We’ll be using them for all of our boarding, doggy daycare, and grooming needs from now on 👍. Thank you for taking care of my Maddie, TailWaggers!
