I really wish I had read the reviews for this store before purchasing two fish. I wanted to surprise my daughter and add two new fish to our tank. I noticed a dead fish in another tank......I know, red flag, but I purchased the fish anyway. BIG mistake! I am now treating my fish for ich, and six of my ten fish are now dead! I had four of these fish for two years. I called the store, spoke with the manager, and she basically laughed telling me they just tested the water and everything was fine. She gave no apology, and no suggestions on how to treat the remaining fish. I have never been so appalled, and will never shop at this location again! I suspect that I will get no response to this review either.......

We bought a guinea pig from here and after the first day at home we noticed he was getting watery eyes and crusting around his eye lid. When we washed his eyes it looked like he had conjunctivitis. We called Pet Valu back to see if we could bring him in to see their vet and get eye drops for him. They said that our only option was to bring him back for a refund, because they didn't have any resources like that. Everyone was nice but for a pet store to not offer and care for the pets they sell is incredibly disappointing. We already brought our guinea pig home and named him Ollie. He is already a part of the family. We will be going to pet smart for future purchases as they offer to even pay for vet services.

I purchased a bearded dragon from this store to start with when we brought him home the poor thing was starving ate four crickets and some greens. While we were in the store the lady that was helping us was very rude and argued with us over the sand we were going to buy she said it would kill him and told us we had to get walnut shells come to find out this is not true the walnut shells are actually more harmful to the bearded dragons because they expand in there bellys and shut down their digestive systems. Needless to say we will not be going back here were going to stick with petsmart there employees are much more educated and actually were helpful and listened to our concerns and what we had to say. If your going to be getting a pet I would never buy from this store!!!!

This location has lots of dog and cat food choices. They carry frogs, fish and reptiles. You can find lots of toys for your dog and cat here, as well as treats. There is a washing station, though I have never used it. They have cats here sometimes that are up for adoption. Today I found out that they donate food that doesn't sell to shelters and a foster program!

So friendly. Great with answering questions about products and pets up for adoption. I'm adopting a cat today. They are pre vaccinated and spayed/neutered. They have a sale for 10$ adoption fee. And you cant miss that deal

We recently adopted a cat from this location, though it was through the SPCA of sharonville. I just buried this poor cat in my yard after having it less than a month. We were given paperwork on the cat and told he was in good health just skinny. This little cat was dying for literally the entire month that we had him. We took him to the vet, had him treated for all that we could (huge vet bill). The paperwork on the cat was not accurate at all. Also the cat had fleas. After this experience I will not be shopping at Jacks anymore, and will not be adopting through the sharonville SPCA as well.

It sucks, customer service sucks! Jacks on average is a pretty good pet store, This Jacks Sucks! In fact,you could say that of every store in this shopping center. The Penny's sucks, Chinese Food restaurant sucks, Spirit Store is a running joke of ineptitude in this area,

I've always loved visiting Jack's and petting the animals! I bought my cockatiel there and I regret nothing. Although the same exact cage that I bought there was about 60 dollars cheaper at Petsmart .

The store is well kept and has a nice selection of fish. This location helps me in taking some of my unneeded fish as donations. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Lisa Nelsen you are the RUDE LADY!!! You failed to mention the something that they asked you to put down was a Betta fish. Since all you were doing was swinging it around. That Rude Lady as you called that employee was simply looking out for the fishes welfare. Many people go into Pet Value and shake and drop the betta fish causing them to die. SO LISA NELSEN she was helping you not to be a fish killer. Next time you post a review make sure you give ALL the facts!!!!

Stay away! Every pet, fish and bunny, have either died just after the return period or right after we got them, or are sick. Bunny was fed poorly and had parasites, lots of money trying to get it back to health. Poor selection and rude or ill informed staff.

Many times this store has grain free items that other stores don't have and I love the one on one customer attention yes sometimes a bit pricier yet my fur babies are worth it

I don't remember getting any warning that this location was closing. Every other location is at least 30 minutes out of the way in any direction from where I live. That's a long way to drive with a live creature in the car. I wish I had had some notice.
