The service at this store is great!!We went on a Saturday and their registers were down, so they told us we would need to place an online order for the items we picked out in store and that’s how they could process our payment!!No worries at all.We went around the store and the, who I think was the manager, checked on us a few times and we told her we have found everything online so far except for a few of the bakery items we grabbed for our dogs 1st birthday. She told us no worries, it would be comped!! How nice!!We went to “checkout” and it went smoothly! They even brought us a little birthday bandana for our dog it was so nice and we were so happy with our experience here, even when they were having issues with their computer systems!! We will definitely be back☺️

This is only one of our pets we’ve gotten here. We know the staff, they know us and we will never get our pets anywhere else. They take as much time as we need to educate us about our new family members. Can’t recommend them enough!! ❤️

Very friendly groomers they do an excellent job on most dogs but we have a big timid dog who was injured by another groomer at another business and they are trying to get him calm enough to let them clip his nails it just takes time and they are doing an amazing job trying... would and do recommend them for their attentive efforts and willingness to help to resolve the last groomers mistakes

Sue was very helpful in that she checked on inventory at a nearby Pet Supplies Store for me as I wanted more of the large bags of the Kit n' Kaboodle I was purchasing. She also carried my large bag of it to my car for me. I enjoyed talking with her about her experience with rescues.

We had always had a good experience with the groomers until last week. We would use the self wash for our lab and have the groomers trim and buff her nails. Last Saturday, we took our 15 year old lab in and asked to have her nails trimmed. We explained, she is old and her back legs are weak. She tied her up but my dogs legs kept collapsing under her and she would slide off the table. It made me very nervous, but the groomer told me I was making the dog anxious. No, she took no concern with our worries, and allowed my dog to become scared. I asked if we could hold our dog while she trimmed her nails and she said "no". Even though other groomers at your location have let us do that. Our dog passed 5 days later and it breaks my heart that the groomer, who should be compassionate and listen to customer request did not.

***Edited***Finally spoke to a lady at corporate who left me with a bad taste. However, the manager Sue at the Harper's is fabulous! Love her and Rachel!!! She promised to take care of this next time I'm shopping. THANK YOU SUE!!!! <3Tho I love this store and it's employees I will say that you have to watch your totals when placing an online order. I did place an order taking advantage of an online only sale. When I got to the store and the total was higher than my math showed the purchase should have been. On the advice of the manager I waited until my credit card statement arrived and it showed the incorrect amount. She had done a "test" purchase on the register/computer which showed that my assumed amount was correct! I contacted "corporate" by email and told them I'd like my $11 back. Excuses like" you didn't add tax"-um, Yeah I did! Then they said that the offer was only up to $30, ok, I get that. So why was my math backed up by the register? Bottom line is that I have the employees and the register/computer on my side yet "corporate" keeps making excuses to not refund my $11 due to their error. Again, the manager and employees say this is a huge problem encountered by many of their "neighbors"/customers yet the company refuses acknowledge this "glitch" and do the right thing!!! ARRRRGH!!!! There are a few other pet stores close to me that I certainly can start purchasing my dog food and toys from.

Every time I go in there the works are very friendly and very helpful. My daughter's ended up with fair gold fish because of grandparents so we had to get a tank and all of the stuff for it. The employees were very helpful in explaining all of the levels for the tank and the strips.

Love Pet Supplies Plus in Symmes Township! Employees are always friendly and helpful. The store is always clean and well stocked. Prices are great and typically lower than online stores. While I love to browse the store, their online ordering pick up is fantastic if you're in a hurry. You can pick up inside or they will bring it to your car.

I love coming to this location. Everyone is so nice and help. Rachel the manager is very nice and very sweet. Rachel is willing to help in anyway she can. The employee are very help and always offer to help you carry stuff to your car.

I just called and lady answered the phone and she couldn't understand me. So I repeated the question. Which was does the store have any wood pallets that they are throwing away and she goes I mean idk I didn't go back there or anything but we do sit them out back for anyone to take. Like yes, I know that's why I'm calling. To save me some gas, I called to check first. The lady was just rude towards me and I thought I'd leave a review and not just let it go. She told me to have a nice day and said it so rude and just hung up on me!! I come in the store and shop all the time. I will not be back.

We purchased a hamster and all her gear this week. It is very obvious that she was well socialized by the care team. We take her out of the cage using her overturned house as we were shown to do. She isn't fearful and immediately comes out when we open the cage. She loves being held/pet and running around. Great overall experience! Our four year old can hold her already and is totally in LOVE. Thanks!

Made a grooming appointment, called prior to ensure they can provide hand stripping as I am aware how time consuming that service is. I was told they could. Day of the appointment I was asked to reschedule as their groomer was out sick. I rescheduled for the following day once again mentioning that time and experience for hand stripping was desired.We showed up for our appointment only to find out they cannot provide hand stripping as they do not have the tools required for the service and the groomer had only experience in hand stripping one other dog.Disorganized and disappointing.

Great pet store! Great location. Employees were super helpful. They helped me care for a bearded dragon 🐉 I've never had one & don't know anything about them but I'm taking care of my roommate's dragon currently. The workers helped me find crickets, cricket food, cage supplies, heat lamp etc. They helped me figure everything out in a timely manner & gave me a panflit full of bearded dragon info. They seem to really care about animals! Decent prices too 👌

Everyone is friendly here and helpful. I love going here and very competitive price too. Specially with the 10 bags dog food deal and you get a free one at the end. Plus, I get $10 off every month for purchase over $50, which is easily used with a 30 lbs bag of food and a bag of treat. It's like a free treat. Ended up being way cheaper than amazon or other stores. My toddler loves going here too to see fish, birds and cats.

Had a grooming appointment reserved. I asked my basic shaved Yorkie to be done in a hour and a half. They said no they had other dogs. So I said I would need a hold for him until I get off work. They proceeded to tell me no but I needed to give them a 4 hour window and pick him up when they were done they couldn't hold any time. Extremely unprofessional, unorganized, and if you choose grooming here take the day off. I have been with them for a year and after now being late for work due to their inability to properly handle appointments I won't be back.
