This store is disgusting. Most of the produce is rotting. There was food all over the floor. The refrigerators were leaking everywhere and smelled like mold. Trash everywhere. Two checkout lanes open. No carts available. The belts on the checkout lanes were so gross I handed my items one at a time to the cashier ( who was super friendly, the only good thing about this place). I only bought packaged food because I didn't trust anything perishable from here. This has to be the worst Kroger. I attached some pictures, which I only started taking at the end of my horrible shopping trip.

They never have shopping carts you have to grab your own from the parking lot. Their restrooms are always dirty all the soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet paper holders are broken, the trash is over flowing and floors have not been clean in days. They leave broken glass in the shopping isles next to wet floors waiting for someone to fall and cut themselves. They are never staff and leave thier meat and seafood departments for breaks at thier busiest times. This store is drastically calling for new management.

Been shopping here for about 5 years now and the customer experience gets worse and worse. Attached is a photo from my most recent trip , just picking up a few things for dinner. Half of the self checkout lanes were closed, and only two regular checkouts were open. By the time I got to checkout, the line was backed up all the way to the pharmacy. I waited almost 15 minutes to buy 5 items. Ridiculous.

Fiancee went in to load money onto his card at the service desk, but they just decided to close it 20 minutes early. And then, when he went to cash out, two of your employees were hiding and shining a flashlight directly into his eyes. You guys should literally be embarrassed because you want to act like children. Do better.

What is up with people in this area?! They now have to have a cop 👮‍♀️ in the stores to try and prevent theft..the main reason Walmart down the road had to close, and Aldi store, is this Kroger next????No several months later still open because the police have uped their game, I have yet to shop their and not seen a car outside the store.WELCOME TO THE HOODCome on people really!Oh I am being a Debbie Downer look at all the new security guards they hired its a good thing right???

Lines were long at the self checkout and only one of the two lanes for self checkout were open. The security guards wandering the aisles was a very welcoming touch

There is NEVER enough cash out lanes open, there is literally a line down the seasonal isle all the way to the back of the store the MAJORITY of the time. On any given day of the week you are lucky if you can get in and out wothing a half hour. One of the Managers Ms. Tammy, is absolutely amazing! But most of the other customer service reps at this location are something to be desired.

This Krogers is a mess!! Cluttered, small, always long lines at registers, rude management and never pick up the phone for inquiries. I would advise you to skip this krogers at all cost!!!!

Walked in and right back out. The entrance was basically blocked by a group of teens just hanging out. As I made my way through with my 6 year old daughter she asked my why those teens were cussing and saying the "N" work so loud? What can I say? A security guard there was even out there with them laughing and leaning against the wall not asking them to move so customers could get in or to be a little quite and respectful. Nope not at all. Also the entrance floor was so littered with wipes and bags they were sticking to everyone's feet going in and the smell of who knows what hits you in the face when you walk in too. Everyone in the entrance said the same thingWe turned around and went to another store.

Worst Kroger I’ve ever been to. For one there’s always a disgusting odor when you enter the store. The lines for check out are always long and backed up down the aisle and that’s just for self check out. There’s only one register constantly open. And they security outside the door to block the store so they can close when they want to ! Don’t say you close at 10 but not let people enter 30 minutes prior it’s ridiculous.

I absolutely abhor coming into this store!! The second time I’ve been in this store and I’m almost to the meat section the line is so long!! It’s 5:30 on a Sunday, it’s ridiculous and I’d rather start paying Meijer the extra money just not to have my time impeded on. Doors on the cold food items to update appearance but no one to appropriately manage the check out process for customers? Yeah that makes sense.

This place is way too busy for the amount of check out clerks working. Literally a line of 7 people deep, and only had one line open. Who is managing this place? Drive to the one off pleasant instead.

I thought this store was doing better. I walked in today and their were employees sitting at the bench outside and this is how the cart section looked! I don’t understand why a cart section would look like this. The supervisor should not allow this

Bagger forgot 2 of my bags. I live 20 minutes away and did not realize until I got home. Contacted the store spoke with Charese the front end manager who was very aggressive and escalated the issue. She then hung up on me. I called back a second time and asked to speak with another manager…Charese hung up again. I called back a third time and was placed on hold then Tony answered. He identified himself as an assistant manager. I explained to him the issue. By this time I was on my way back to this Kroger’s. Once I arrived I asked Charese to get Tony and to write down the complaint number and she refused and walked away. Tony arrived he showed me where my items were and gave me a gift card. I asked him to write down the complaint number and he refused. I will not be visiting this location again. The management does not represent #1 customer service as there vests say…they represent rudeness, attitude, laziness, lack of compassion, lack problem solving skills. I grew up in Forest Park and it’s sad to see what is going on in this location. No amount of money could convince me to step foot in this location and since they represent Kroger then I will be shopping at Jungle Jims or Meijer. So long Forest Park Kroger you’ll suck. I wish I could give you no stars!

This has to be the worst Kroger on the planet ( like any Kroger is a joy to shop at). 9 pm on a Tuesday night. Not one single full service checkout lane open. 1/2 of the self check outs closed. People backed up 2 wide half way to the back of the store. People trying to check out with full carts of food and only six self checkouts open.Have you ever tried to check out with a full cart with no where to put your stuff ( which by the way almost guaranteed something in your cart will ring up at the wrong price, the cheap bags won't pull apart, it will tell you to put your item on the carousel even if it is already there....)?Service desk is generally closed by 8 pm or earlier so if you have an issue or need a rain check you are out of luck. If Kroger can't keep enough staff to monitor more than 6 self check out stations and keep someone at the service desk they should just close and get it over with. Kroger management must never shop their own stores after 8 pm. I'm sure they pay to have their stuff delivered to their house so they don't have to deal with a horrid in store shopping experience.If Kroger were a hospital you would have to stand in line for the operating room, do your own surgery and then send yourself a bill with fraudulent charges.

This Kroger is smaller than others and a lot more cramped. It didn't have some niche products I expect at Kroger's like cans of Ale 8. Still a solid Kroger overall

This Kroger is so understaffed and I really feel sorry for some of the workers because of the verbal abuse I've witnessed them endure. My main issue with this Kroger is mispricing of items. A lot of the prices on items in the isles ring up higher at the register and most times (unless there is a manager there)they will not allow you to purchase the item at the sale price. My biggest concern is purchasing meat that is outdated. I have complained about the quality of meats but nothing has changed. Kroger did clean this store up A LOT but I'm a senior citizen and I can't afford to get sick because I've eaten bad meat.I had to update my review. I am so thankful for the updates inside this store. I've noticed the a very big change. The produce and meat are fresh and the prices reflect the actual item. Thank you for the updates inside the store.

Absolutely horrible here on a Tuesday night before 930pm ONLY 1 register open. It was being worked by an employee AND manager bagging. The line is now 10 deep with people already walking out of line and the store due to this issue. At least have your self scan on or have the manger open another lane. Absolutely ridiculous.

I will never order a pick up order from this Kroger ever again!Yesterday on 4/4/22 I placed a pick up order to be picked up between 5 and 6 PM. I arrive to the store at 5:15 and noticed that every pick up spot was full front to back. I waited about 25 minutes when an employee walked to my car and told me that I will “have to come back because my order “wasn’t ready yet”. I asked her how long it would be until it was ready and she replied she “didn’t know because there was only 1 person working pickup”. she also gestured to all the other cars waiting and said that “none of these orders are ready”. I then told her that I would be back in an hour and she said that the order should be ready by then. I went home and waited.I then went back to the Kroger store again around 6:30 PM and no other cars were in the pick up spots. I proceeded to wait another 20 minutes before calling into the store to figure out what was going on with my order. The same employee answered the phone and I explained to her that I was told to come back and that I had now arrived for the second time. She told me that the order still was not completed but “someone was working on it”. She also told me that the manager told her to give me a gift card for my inconvenience with my order. I said fine I’ll wait until my order was done. Proceeded to wait another 45 minutes in the parking lot until just before 730pm and no one had come out with my order or called to inform me on what was going on. I then left the store because I could not continue to wait any longer as it was getting later into the evening.No one from Kroger ever called me that evening to tell me about my order, inquire about why I left, nothing!…I never heard anything at all. Their customer service is atrocious and if they are not able to fill orders they should inform customers before they arrive to the store.Horrible experience!

I used this Kroger a lot and hardly have a good experience with it. But I do have to give it to Mary that worked night shift on August 11th 2022 it was 10 min before they closed and I called and she answered and I had no more baby formula and I was freaking out cause the kind I get is the only kind that works for him and doors where already closed but so went and got it for me let me out front to get my money to pay for it and brought it to me all in last minute of closing I can’t be more thankful for you cause my baby would it went without food cause that’s the only place that carries it thank you so much you are a life saver!

I frequently get grocery pick ups here. It has been happening more and more that my order is not ready on time and I have to come back an hour or so later. Today I had a pickup for 1pm. No one called me to let me know, so when I got there at the time frame they sent this poor kid out to tell me they were short staffed and I could come back for my $300 order tomorrow. The same kid called later to ask if I'd like to cancel my order, and that they didn't call or have my order ready because their system was down. I requested to speak to a manager because it is above that poor kids pay grade to deal with angry customers this way. He said THEY DONT HAVE A MANAGER. They do not take care of their young employees and the whole store is ran horribly.I'm 8 mo pregnant with a 2 year old, and I really didn't want to spend 2+ hours in the grocery store to get everything we needed then have to wait in a long line for SELF CHECKOUT with my toddler because they're never staffed appropriately to open the registers.I cancelled my order and switched it to delivery through Instacart, where they didn't have half my order stocked.This location is horrible and I will not be returning. Nothing is ever stocked, the registers are never open, and the pick up is a joke.Kroger is TOO BIG of a company to allow this many problems and have teenagers running the place without any managerial guidance. I feel so bad for those kids who have to deal with angry customers all the time because Kroger can't run the place appropriately. They just dropped a ton of money too on renovations but you can't offer decent pay to staff anyone except teenagers? Ridiculous.
