Went to Kroger on Sat. Mar 16th @ approximately 3 pm; green bean box had mold, on sale asparagus was wilted and gross in the center, I don't have picture of those, but I do have pictures of my sealed Romaine lettuce w BUGS in it!!! Is this Kroger new corporate standard? Yall better not blame your on the floor employees because we all know you don't pay them a thriving wage to care, and even if they did you know managers go " just cover it up "

I shopped at this Kroger for many years, but recently quit after a very steep decline in how they manage the store. My final straw was when I was at self check out and it was very busy. There were clearly people who needed help, and instead of helping, three teenage employees were having a dance competition/ dance routine thing. However, today I needed to run in quickly and grab something. It was probably my first in at least six weeks. I had very few items, but I did decide to grab some beer so I decided to go through an actual line versus self checkout to speed up the process. I picked an empty but lit up lane. The line had a cashier and a bagger, both of whom were leaning on the conveyer belt and playing on their phones. They both kind of stared at me but made no effort to stand up or act like they were going to work. The cashier in the next line flagged me over. What gets me is an old lady entered my original line after me and again, the cashier and bagger kept leaning over, playing on their phones not helping her. She also had to move over to a lane where the cashier was actually doing something. Shame that I’m sure these teenagers who can’t be bothered to do anything are probably being paid the same as the lady who was trying, because I’ve heard that Kroger really doesn’t reward for time or effort. I did try to call to speak to a manager and they hung up on me. Hate being ‘that person’ but this store is just a sinking ship and customers should stop caring because clearly Kroger has.

This is a great store. The store is very clean and is well-lit. There are nice displays setup throughout the store. They did have 2 booths of people trying to sell internet or insurance, so that was annoying.

This store is usually very hit or miss. It usually understaffed during the busiest hours. There is a register in the personal hygiene area (toothpaste, “family planning” deodorant, etc) where you can only buy those items but if you have other groceries you must wait in a long line for usually half of their working self scan machines or one register open. Why is it that the U.S.’s wealthiest grocery chain cannot staff and operate a store in its own hometown? Might I add that this store is one of many stores neglected just because it’s not located in a more affluent neighborhood like Oakley or Newport, KY.

Ive been shopping all my life at Kroger, I figured I had to make a review about this experience... Basically my Wife, had placed a $400+ Pickup order... I told her to cancel it because one, I figured if we're gonna spend that much, we mine as well just go shopping our selfs... And two, I didn't want the associates shopping that much and over doing there selfs... My Wife being my Wife, of course she didn't cancel it... I go to pick up the next day in the morning, everything was there, no attitudes or nothing from the associates... They were so friendly and nice and assured me, its not a issue placing orders that big... One of the many reasons why I love Krogers... ❤️ Thank you the associates who where nothing but nice and great...

Real ghetto. I would just like to know who’s the rich entitled pos who invented u-scan? Obviously someone who’s probably never had to do his own grocery shopping. Anyway, quick question: who likes to work 8-12 hrs and then go to the grocery store and work some more? The machines SUCK! All it does is freeze up and tell me I’m doing something wrong and then I have to wait for the associate who is being pulled in 10 different directions. Should we have taken a training course or something bc I have zero desire to walk all over this giant store (after working all day), spend all of my money because, you know, “inflation” and then have to work, and read and decipher a machine that I don’t even want to deal with? Who’s evil idea was this? Why do you keep forcing us to do it!?! Do all of u companies get together and come to a consensus on how you all can annoy us more while still draining our pockets? Is that the end goal for “customer service” nowadays? I have to talk to robots on the phone if I call and have to deal with machines when I actually go to the store. It’s too much! Grocery shopping shouldn’t be this terrible but leave it to the rich spoiled brats who get positions handed down to them to make our lives absolutely miserable while at the same time literally draining our pockets. How long do you think this business model will last? You companies have gutted the working class and you simply don’t care. That’s why I don’t care if ppl steal because atp y’all deserve it! If I have to work while I grocery shop, I should get an employee discount as far as I’m concerned. Where are the savings since u hire less ppl because of these machines?? Oh yeah - corporate bonuses that’s where the savings go. Right back in the slime filled pockets of your entitled, rich IV league decision makers who most likely shop at Whole Foods. Devils.

There’s 25 year old or so security guard that’s short and dark skinned who’s apart of these organizations and community who’s blocking people from having jobs and making people go crazy by pretending they don’t know who you are but talk about you in your face. I walked by him and he said to an old lady at the cashier who’s 50 years old or so with some height to her, “he’s crazy” after the older lady asked him “why you’re looking at him like that”

I had to call 3 different times to get to speak to the pharmacy. When they finally answered- I told them of the difficulty getting thru- I was told "we have more things to do- not just answer the phone!" I don't spend my money with an establishment that considers my call an intrusion. I transferred my prescription.

I'm leaving kroger now. Approached the door at 5:40pm. They are closed. And they close at 9:50pm almost every night usually. Weird time to close. But it is Christmas Eve! Happy holidays! Off to udf. Lots of people are upset they are closed. Missing so much money!!! 🤑

Good selection of foods and goods, clean store, and nice location. The store was packed, but self checkout still moved reasonable fast.

Employee refused to ring me up. Made me use self checkout. There self checkout is a joke and you should not refuse to ring people up.

I was traveling with a coworker who lives in France now, and he had a list of “American snacks” that his kids wanted, so we went on a junk food shopping spree. Everything is clean and well laid-out, with good signage in the aisles, and a good selection of everything we were looking for. His kids are going to get the sugar crazies next week.

I’ve been shopping in this store for years and I’ve seen it look really good to really bad but there’s one bright light in this store that keeps me coming the the manager in the red vest Courtney makes everyone day when they come in even on my worst day when I see him I can’t help but smile. I just want everyone to know he’s awesome and is he married cause he’s cute I need to know for me?

Kroger has taken the phone numbers off of the grocery pickup stall signs. This is very inconvenient for the handicapped and seniors, who have individuals pickup their groceries. The individual, like myself , has no access to scan in and alert the Kroger's staff they are there. I've had to hunt down staff members more 3 times in the past month to retrieve groceries that should have been brought to my car.

I had exceptional customer service at self checkout from Courtney just now. He saw my hands were full and w/o any prompting helped me checkout no questions asked. Best service I’ve had in the 10 years shopping at this Kroger. (& they had one of my favorite wines, Casal Garcia Vinho Verde ⭐️)

It's find but instacar5 shoppers don't pick quality items. Wen u complain u have to wait too long for your refund. Sometimes I have just enough for the items I ordered and didn't get or was rotten or spoiled

9 am Tuesday and there was not a single register open that wasn't a self check out. I asked when a register was going to be open and was told that it was being cashed out and it would be 15 minutes. I had a basket full and there were 3 other people with full waiting for a register to open. 30+ minutes later a register opened. I don't blame the employees, this is a management issue. If you need produce, just go to another store because it's horrible. Go up the road to Oakley and it's fine. They are just sending bad produce to the poor neighborhoods.

I struggle with this Kroger for a lot of different reasons. I want to support my local grocery stores because they keep people in my community employed. Also, I want to support any grocer who makes my weekly trips convenient. But I feel there's a depressing lack of care that goes into the way this store is operated. In a word, the store is filthy. Produce is carelessly stacked. Shelves sit empty. And unfortunately there are rarely enough registers open to avoid a line. On top of that about 50% of the time I avoid the store altogether and opt for a pickup, I get home before noticing that several of my items are missing. Now, they're always friendly about getting misplaced items back to the customer but the consistency of their incompetency is pretty incredible.I want to like this store, but it's like all they want to do is waste their time.

I came into this Kroger at 6:30am desperately hoping someone would be in the floral department and could blow up some balloons. It was my son's birthday and I had forgotten to get them the night before. Peggy was able to come to the floral department and do it for me, even though the floral department technically wasn't open. She was kind and courteous and the experience made my day. Big kudos to Peggy!

Worst pharmacy I have ever used. They never have the proscription done when they say they will. All day today I have been trying to get my daughters prescriptions filled. First they were having issues with there system. Than at 730pm they called and told me there pharmacist wouldn't fill the prescription because she wasn't comfortable with the medication than when I got upset because my daughter been home in pain with a broken infected tooth all day and want to wait until the last minute to call and tell me that, its so late there's nothing that could be done about it tonight and my daughter is miserable, they refuse to fill any of them and all I did was question why it took all day, and I called serval times, to tell me this. Worst place ever.

The only downside like most stores are the lack of people being cashiers. Especially, when there are lines at the self serve. These stores do not pay me to ring put and bag my own purchases, are we to unload the trucks for them next?

The majority of employees are super friendly and helpful. Usually no wait to check out. Store is clean. Has 2 restrooms, one up front and one in back. Just wish they would stop rearranging the store every few months. Just when I start to know where everything is they change it again.
